Rated 4 out of 5 by Sheraton Times Square Rooms seem newly renovated. High rooms on the Northside of the building have a partial view of Central Park. Excellent gym! January 18, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by extremely crowded nice hotel, good location very crowded. waited a long time for elevators gold spg members get no real advantage since there are so many platinum members who go to this hotel July 31, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very convenient. Billing needs work. I was charged for something called Link@sheraton.cafe that I never used and despite a phone call and two e-mails nothing has been done to correct this. June 20, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sheraton Towers New York I fly to New York several times a month for business and pleasure. I ALWAYS stay at the Sheraton Towers. It is close to everything I do and the staff is great. Thank you May 31, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Check out takes too long! The Gold & Platinum lane should be for Gold & Platinum members. It seems like every time I go to check out, I'm waiting in a hugely ridiculous line of people checking in. December 18, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great place to stay for a meeting in Midtown Came from out of town to a meeting in Midtown Manhattan. The accommodations were nicely appointed, the food was excellent, and the staff was great. December 16, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Comfortable room, but bathroom needs to be cleaned better The rooms are quite big for NY, and the beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms need to be cleaned much better than they are and this seems to be a consistent issue. January 13, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by Not up to par I was in NYC attending a conference at a comparable hotel across the street. I chose to stay at the Sheraton believing that my conference's hotel would be too crowded. Horrible, horrible choice. Although the Sheraton was comfortable, the atmosphere and level of service for this hotel was not nearly up to par with its competitors. This Sheraton appears to cater more toward large conferences than toward individual guests, and fails to manage the crowds very well at all. Upon arrival and throughout my stay, the too-small lobby was overrun by large crowds of apparent conference attendees waiting to check in. (This turned out to be the case every time I went to the lobby during my stay,) There was no separate line for group check in, so I had to stand in line for a long time just to check in. That is only where the "fun" began. Upon check in, I was informed that there would be a "high security political event" the next day, meaning I would have limited access to my room. This situation turned out to last the ENTIRE DAY. Because of the crowds and heightened security, it took over an hour to get from my conference across the street back to my hotel room. No special allowance was offered for this inconvenience. Although the room was clean and comfortable, housekeeping was inattentive for this level of hotel - the iron and ironing board in my room stayed out the entire stay and toiletries were not completely refreshed. One evening, I went to the LINK cafe for a snack. I ordered chips and queso. For $16, I got stale chips. The club level amenities were also below par. In the morning, after I used my key to get into the club lounge, I was greeted by an employee demanding to know my room number. On my last night, I tried to secure a late checkout. Doing so took two phone calls, and approximate total wait time of 45 minutes. In the end, I wish I had stayed at hotel which was hosting my conference. It is a comparable hotel of size and cost, and was hosting multiple conventions at the same time, but did a much much better of controlling congestion and noise level - their lobby, while always busy, was never congested, unlike the Sheraton. Rated 2 out of 5 by don't stay here the rooms are too small. there are too many rooms. the staff are overwhelmed by the volume of people they are servicing. some were even rude enough to demand tips. February 20, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Bag Check Service - Room Size Bag check service is understaffed. It took over 10 minutes to check the bag and about another 10 minutes to pick it up. Room with queen size bed was very cramped. June 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice stay Nice rooms, Friendly Staff. Stayed one night to go to a Yankee Game. Subway to Yankee Stadium Right outside the entrance to the Hotel. 5 min. walk to Time Square. June 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by This hotel has the ideal location This hotel has the best location in New York. A few blocks from the hustle and bustle of Times Square but close enough to walk to all of the mid town highlights. May 28, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good location Good location. Pillows were soft, almost too soft and they were all consistently soft. No hot tub or steam room. Room servoce good and speedy. Doorman attentive. January 14, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by this hotel has excellent location Room was too small, not excellent cleanness as expected from a Sheraton, swimming pool not in the building, not good buffet breakfast even though too expensive. September 25, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 'True' Sized Hotels I only stayed for one-night. Didn't really explore the entire hotel as this is a 'true' sized hotel based on the 80's standards (but not to the extent of Vegas style). It's been a while that I've stayed in one of these as (I think) that since the idea of designer and boutique hotels have flourished, many of us forgotten about these 'true' sized hotels. The great thing about it is the sense of space when you get in to the property. There's lots of space: from the lobby to corridors to meeting rooms etc... On this note, is that the Front Desk agent was able to not just work with pre-assigned rooms on the list of reservations that comes in every day. But, he was generous enough to ask me which floor i'd prefer! However, I have to say that many 'true' sized hotels accommodate lots of conventions and conferences. These groups requires 'meeting points' and during my stay, there's just a bit too much going on at the lobby. Consider using meeting rooms (if not booked) to offer to these groups as 'break-out and meeting points' so that the lobby is a bit more quiet, plus the fact that easier for security to spot strange activities? Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Hotel Always a great place to stay. Gets crowded but lots of fun. Check in lines can be very long if you get in at the wrong time. This Sheraton is the place to be. December 6, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Solid Choice in Times Square Area I was very well treated by the staff, the room was very clean and comfortable...and you can't beat the location IF you want to be close to crazy Times Square. May 19, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by So close to a great stay... First of all, I want to preface this by pointing out some positives. I thought the hotel was beautifully re-done. It is hard to get a spacious room in NYC and I thought the rooms were great as well as the lobby, club room, etc. I also want to point out that the Chelsea from VIP Guest Services was EXTREMELY helpful as was Nicole who checked our group of 15 in. I thought "this is going to be an amazing stay". So NYC the weekend after Thanksgiving,we knew it would be busy and were ready to handle the crowds. The elevators at the Sheraton were not. I understand there can be mechanical problems with elevators, but there was nothing down and no communication on why the elevators weren't working. This is a very large hotel moving people up and down massive towers. People were stranded both in the elevators, lobby and floors for upwards of 45 minutes to an hour. There was no management letting people know what was going on and that was causing a lot of anxiety for the guests staying there. It was disappointing, but I did not let it ruin my trip. I think a little communication and crisis management would have been appreciated by all. December 6, 2012
