Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful pool area The hotel is freshly renovated and includes many conveniences including a terrific pool area, Starbucks coffee shop on site, Universal/Disney tickets on site. Within steps are several restaurants, with Pizza Hut adjacent to the hotel, and Olive garden/Dunkin Donuts right next door. Staff were very attentive to needs. We had a late flight, and they were able to accommodate a later check out at no extra charge, allowing us to stay at the hotel longer. I recommend this hotel, and look forward to staying here again. Rated 5 out of 5 by Not perfect but very good Our first room in building 3 was less than expected but after being moved to Palm 1 things got much better. The air conditioning was not working but the staff had it repaired minutes after I brought it to their attention kudos to Michelle at the front desk and the engineering dept. February 6, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great staff Luis in housekeeping went above and beyond to get my daughter's blankie, that we inadvertantly left, back to us ASAP. Thank you for understanding the importance of a childs security blanket! There to celebrate her Birthday had balloons ready when we got there! Overall very pleased not the newest but updated nicely and great place to relax after a day at disney. Thank you again to Luis! You are a fantastic employee and asset to the hotel January 30, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Deli Staff should be replaced Order a Club sandwich in your deli. Wednesday night the 22nd of January. I asked the man behind the counter if he could recommend anything on the sandwich list. He went on to say he doesn't eat anything from here like it was bad or something. I went on to order a sandwich that actually looked good until he cut it in half. This was a very small $9.00 half. He was very distracted with his other buddy in the deli eating there food from the restaurant. They were very uninterested in helping anyone. Everyone that came to the counter was bothering them. Not impressed by any of the staff. Gave us a key that did not work. No direction to our room, we had to come back down and ask again. Its the staff that will keep me away. Really not customer friendly and I'm pretty easy going traveler. January 29, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Enjoyed our stay We were happy with the resort, especially the pool area, it is lovely with the two pools and plenty of seating. Glad the hotel is trying to be more green, we reused our towels but would suggest more towel bars to dry them on. Would prefer a different room layout with the sink in the bathroom. Overall very nice place with attentive and friendly staff. The Concierge was most helpful too. January 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Poor Front Desk Experience w/Ernest Justin I've been coming for about 10 years with my brother and his wife. Never have I experienced such poor customer service, as I did on Jan 16th. The front desk representative, Ernest Justin, was extremely rude to me. He was in the process of assisting me with printing my boarding pass and he abruptly stopped helping me and began to help someone who had walked into the line. I asked him why he wouldn't complete printing my boarding passes and he just ignored me and continued helping the other person. I would not have asked him to help me except that the printer in the lobby was inoperable and I was told to ask for assistance from the front desk staff. Eventually, another your lady assisted me, but that was after about 10 minutes. I was late taking photos and was not in the mood to take pictures at that point. This young man has no idea what "customer service" means, if he will drop one person in mid-stream to assist another. This was the only bad experience that I encountered during the entire week. I'll be back Jan 2015 and hopefully he will have better customer service skills. January 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great staff Very decent hotel, and you get exactly what you should be expecting. It is what it is - a resort type hotel. The interactions we had with all the staff were truly excellent. Great customer focus attitude, very genuine, and very much appreciated! Thanks... Especially Jon (Jonathan) who was on Registration duty when we checked in. From the moment I walked up to the desk I was made to feel very welcome & that all our needs would be catered for. He even took the time to follow up with us when he saw my family at breakfast the next morning. Great location etc. We'll be back. January 23, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Average I would like to compliment the service that I received prior to our stay from Elizabeth, but the hotel itself was average. The room was very clean, but needed remodeling with updates. You could tell somethings were, but corners were cut. I also did not like entering our room from the outside especially traveling with kids. The bar was not open long enough at all. By the time you were ready to enjoy a cocktail at the end of the day, the bar was closed and so was the nice fire outside. The shuttle service was nice, but did not run enough times. We had to spend $30 on a taxi ride home from Disney. Overall, I would never stay again and would never suggest the property. It was average and needs improvement to compete with surrounding resorts. Rated 3 out of 5 by Very average, not worth the hassle to disney parks Reception was quite nice but when you get up to the rooms, cleanliness could use some improvement. The bathroom and sink area was a little dirty and the daily cleaning of our room just seemed to move dirt around on the floors and counters were not wiped down until about our 3rd day. Room service dishes sat in the hallways for 2-3 days before being picked up. Pool area was nice as well as the business centre. If you choose this hotel and intend to go to the Disney parks with their complimentary shuttle, I would not recommend... Every night, their shuttle was late and PACKED full and not a nice bus (old and smelled bad, torn and stained seats etc.) and when it says transport to each theme park, it means drop off at one park and you have to catch another bus to the theme park you were planning on going to... Be sure you ask a Disney employee where the right place is to catch your next bus too -- our driver did not know. January 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by First Time Stay I enjoyed my stay for the First Time at this location! I was absoulutely in love with the bed! I slept like a baby! I wish I could take it home! I was not happy with the room service though. We stayed two nights and she came around 8 am to clean and we were just getting ready for the day. When we got back to the room at 3pm she still had not come back. By 6pm she came around again and at that point we were relaxing and I did not want to be bothered. I was not happy with the service as our room was never cleaned. The other cleaning lady I saw on our floor refused to take my trash because she said it was not one of her rooms to clean. She did however give me some towels I asked for yet I had all my old ones on my bathroom floor the whole time. January 14, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Hotel has nice external facilities Three areas of concern: 1. Initially the AC/Heating unit wouldn't function and contacted maintenance to get it working. 2. The room had two queen size beds but no chair. I realize that space may be a premium; however, the chair would have made things easier. 3. Housekeeping. We were involved in the Disney Marathon Week (5 days) and our room was vacant at different times (4am until 11am) than what the staff was used to seeing. After the events at Disney we would return, take showers and rest until late afternoon. As a result, we had our room made up only once in our entire stay. We did request towels, etc on the other days. On one of the days of our stay, the housekeeper did come in about 3pm and we stated that would be leaving in a few moments but she never returned and the room was not cleaned nor were towels left to replace soiled ones. Rated 5 out of 5 by this hotel has great features we loved the location the room was wonderful we enjoyed the pool assistance at check in was great needed a room near elevator no problem the housekeeper I don't know her name but she is on the 6th floor our room was 4614 she was exceptional she is from Jamaica at the front desk Bianca was wonderful remembered us from last year Elizabeth in sales even sent an email to ask what if any requrements we needed great customer service Even nick at bellman took our luggage to room changed rooms and gave me his extension if we needed anything else also made us res at our favourite johnnies hideaway January 12, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by Not the hotel's best moment My family and I, (two adults & two teenage children) were in a Jr. Suite- Room 4114 to be exact. One would think the room would be clean from the start. However, the room was dirty; the beds appeared as if someone had been sleeping on top of them. The sheets were stained. The floors were dirty, and required a sweeping and mopping. The room didn’t have any of the amenities: cups, soap, and toilet paper. It was a disaster. The front desk was contacted on our arrival to send new sheets, towels and soaps. We waited for about two hours and not one individual showed. I went to the front desk still nothing. My family and I were too exhausted to continue to wait; we fell asleep. Early the next morning, I returned to the front desk asking for toilet paper, soap and cups drink out of. I explained to the staff at the front desk I would like for the room to be thoroughly cleaned. We would be departing for Disney and would like to return to a clean room. After about 30 minutes a person arrived with cups, and a roll of toilet paper. We soon left for Disney after this delivery. Upon our return at 11:00 pm that night, the beds were made but the floors were still disgusting. The floors had not been swept or mopped as requested. My family and I walked throughout the room with shoes on. The previous time we stayed at this hotel, the water was off. We were not made aware until after we checked in and were in our rooms trying to use the bathroom. One would think the hotel staff would try to offer something for this bad experience, nothing. The staff is more nonchalant than anything else. After this last experience, I will not be returning to this hotel EVER!!!! I will not recommend this hotel to anyone I know. Each time I have stayed at your hotel each was bad experience only getting worse with each stay. From now on we will make reservations at another SPG hotel. Thank you. January 7, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by A week at Disneyworld The Hotel was better than we expected and the convenience to the Parks was right on target but we constantly needed to ask for towels and floor mats. The water was non-existent two of the seven mornings we were there which made the mornings quite uncomfortable. The public toilet in the lobby did not work most of the time and was not clean nor stocked with toilet paper. January 3, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by dirty room The top bunk bed was filled with some type of crumbs when the covers were pulled down. It was like the maid did not check it because it looked like it was not slept in. Rated 1 out of 5 by This is nightmare This hotel is one of the worst hotels that inhabited them at the level of the SPG chain hotels or other hotels generally Cleanliness on the other hand I did not find evidence that the room had cleared, but some of the order and change some towels and sheets sometimes In terms of workers generally did not find cooperation and enthusiasm to make my stay comfortable in the hotel The room key is always the problem in most cases, the room does not open until the last night attributed the key to the receptionist December 27, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Poor over all comfort Rooms are at best utility, The carpet was in need of a good vacuuming and the AC kept moving to colder and colder temp. We finally gave up and turned it off after awakening to 59 degrees inside the room. The floor unit should be replaced with central air. I finally placed a chair in front of the vent to keep the AC out of our faces. Dishes put out from a room down the walkway were left all day giving the impression of a low class motel. The coffee was replenished some days and others not. Tea was never replenished snd we bought water at the grocery because of the unreliability. The mattress would have been fine for one night, but after five my body ached. We'll remember ths property so as not to book here again. December 27, 2013

The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was another very nice surprise. It was very good. The staff was very accommodating also. Frankly, my family stayed at Gaylords Resort and my room was better than all of theirs, I was very pleased. Plus, my location was superior. Rated 2 out of 5 by Great features, not enough parking, loud children, slow elevators and weak internet access in rooms. Not worth the resort fee. Cannot recommend unless you have to stay there. I understand that there are minor competitions but hotel security could have kept the noise down for other hotels. Your elevators were extremely slow and they are used by cleaning staff during the day so it becomes even slower at times of going out during the day. The internet access in some rooms is pathetic and the staff took about one hour of my check-in time to figure this out, even though I had told them that it was the Wi-Fi in the room. I was finally given a different room and the Wi-Fi there was also weak. If you come back late, you will have to park close to the opposite side of your building. It is very desolate and scary on that side at late times. December 22, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Hotel Nice but Parking should be free I travel at least once a year to this area and always stay at a Disney resort. I was looking forward to giving a different hotel (close to Disney) a chance to see if it measures up. The front desk employee at check in was very cold and unaccommodating; I believe she may have been a manager. (She wore a tan suit jacket and had long dark hair) First impressions are big for me and will determine if I return or not. There are fees for parking, an extra cot, microwave, etc.. You do not find this in Disney. (The cot was not for an additional person either; it was because my mother found the bed uncomfortable and she has rods and pins in her neck) The room was nice and the view of the pool was very pretty. The housekeeping staff was very responsive and pleasant. The young men that worked at the front desk were very helpful and friendly; they assisted us with park and local travel information. There was no where in the in the hotel however to get change for the washers. I had to drive somewhere for quarters because the woman at the front desk said that she was 'all out'. I donot believe that I would return however due to the way we were treated upon check-in. After our stay at the Sheraton, we decided to stay 4 additional days so we checked out and went to a hotel at Disney. Even though the room was a little more money and the housekeeping staff was comparable at both hotels, I would probably choose to pay the extra money and stay for the entire trip at Disney when I return due to, again, the way we were treated upon arrival. There was also no control in the late evening hours (after midnight) of the noise at the pool. Several of us had to call to have someone ask the people drinking to please keep the noise down.
