Receptionist is helpful & professional. Room is clean but a little bit musty smell. I'm impressed by their complimentary water, seldom hotels can do this in US. I am also supprised the free coffee they offered in room is Starbucks, that's so unique. There're free suttle buses run between LAX & hotel every 15 Mins.

This is a solid airport hotel. Much better than most. Good Platinum recognition with an upgrade to a suite of some sort -- really a very big room with a couch and table... very small normal bathroom though.
I used the lobby area to do some work. The lobby area is well setup for people to meet, converse or get some work done. i left my laptop case there and later went down to look for it and it was gone. Called lost and found and luckily it had been found by a hotel employee and was promptly returned to my room!
The reason why I was using the lobby was that the internet in the room was painfully slow, and was very fast in the lobby. I called tech support on the internet and was transferred to the offsite vendor who walked thru a script, including asking me for a contact number -- wouldn't you think that if you had just been transferred to them from the Sheraton Gateway, they would know the phone number to call if they had to call you back -- they did "reboot" the local router and the service did "improve" although it was far too slow, hence heading to the lobby, as I didn't have the time or the patience to talk to someone in a call center, rather than someone in the hotel who might have been more equipped to handle the problem.
Had a breakfast in the Brasserie the next morning. Ordered off the menu. Service was good, but I'd have to say that the food was only just OK!
Anyway, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again for a quick stay if I needed to around LAX -- would venture further out for a more extended stay.

I could not believe that this hotel has a priority check in sign for Gold and Platinum Members, but in practice, it is not working the way supposed to be. I was waiting for more than 8 minutes, and all other guests behind me got checked in at regular line but I was still waiting for someone to help. I wonder why should have the priority check in sign for Gold and Platinum Members but it is not working at all in this hotel? It is meaningless to have sign there.

Quiet Room (for an airport location) - check
Efficient Check In/Out - check
TV - no check, sound kept going out
Hot Water (shower) - no check, water remained hot only if I shut off and on (anti scauld sensor bad?)
Service in Lounge - check, friendly and responsive staff

We stayed at the hotel for three nights.
Got upgraded to a corner suite, which was spacious. One flaw though - there was only one TV for sitting area and the bedroom. The positioing of the TV was difficult.
Club Lounge was great. Staff was helpful.

I've stayed at this property about a dozen times in the past two years. The location is extremely convenient to the airport, the hotel is always in good condition and the service has been excellent. I will contiue to stay at this property when I'm in Los Angeles for short business trips..

The hotel was met my needs exactly. We ate sandwiches in the lounge area and the food was delicious and moderately priced. All of the hotel staff was friendly and efficient. I would definitely stay there again.
