Rated 4 out of 5 by lrob food service
while everything about my stay was incredible with great staff from checkin to club staff and housekeeping. they all became friends i saw every day and appreciated thier courtesy and concern for making me comfortable.
the food service department for large groups needs a lot of help; no imagination, poor training of staff (although the staff was helpful and kind..they need more training or a better trainer. Sorry, i am too busy to help right now.) We ate chicken four meals in a row and the same soup two days in a row. For god's sake, there are books and recipes on line.
Get rid of that pricey
Starbucks and serve some good New Orleans coffee.
thanks for listening

Rated 5 out of 5 Great lobby and great location
This hotel has a great lobby. It is large and open with a bar and food menu, several computer monitors for guests, a very large screen TV and many types of chairs. There is also an on-site Starbucks. As a single woman traveling alone for a conference and vacation, the location was great and I felt very comfortable sitting in the lobby and ordering a drink/food or catching up on my emails. The rooms were very comfortable and the elevators were high tech and very fast. The conference was very well run with great service from staff.

Rated 5 out of 5 Good solid hotel
Recently stayed at this Sheraton for a conference. The staff were terrific, the rooms clean and the beds super comfy! Bathroom workable (unlike FQ W), and nice, and the pool, though small, was a great addition in the hot weather. The gym is FABULOUS--basically a full-sized gym in a hotel--big plus! I would stay here again. Only two concerns, the room decor (considering they just did an enormous remodel) is terribly boring--especially for New Orleans--when did beige come back in style? Get some color in there! The lobby looks great, and computers are handy, but the scent they infuse throughout the lobby is completely overwhelming! Hopefully they will get rid of that or tone it way down! Otherwise, a good stay, and decent rate for conference! Also, the hotel restaurants too expensive--venture out and about!

Rated 3 out of 5 1st Timer
This was my 1st visit to NOLA. I had a great tiem touring the city. The hotel, overall, is nice. However, their idea of "going green" means that no one comes to your room AT ALL. So, your trash collects, & no one comes to clean your bathtub. I don't mind using the same towels durign my stay, but I figured the least they could do was have someone come to remove the trash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DanceMan Very Nice Hotel
I was in New Orleans for Business. I had a vey good stay overall. The elevators are a bit noisy, so try not to be too near. Speaking of elevators, the new technology makes using them a bit tricky as first, but later the efficiency is quite evident.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mary6814 Wonderful Experience
We had stayed at this hotel several years ago and it was good, not great, but good. We go to New Orleans almost every other month. We love to walk down all the streets, eat great food and look at all the old buildings. We decided to stay at the Sheraton because it was a last minute decision and there were rooms available. We were pleasantly surprised. Getting to this hotel was so easy and the valet guys were quick and friendly. The rooms were wonderful. We had asked for a quiet room and it was perfect. We enjoyed it so much, we made another reservation for next weekend.
