Rated 2 out of 5 by Great staff, needs renovating Housekeeping was wonderful! All staff accomodating . Check in was a breeze, valet guys pleasant, restaurant staff nice. However, hotel needs serious updating- furniture was chipped,tub floor stained, bathroom ceiling showed signs of old leaks, headboard ripped, lobby couch bad-everything worn and old-looking. Rated 3 out of 5 by Finally Comfortable Had some issues with the cleanliness of the room upon arrival. I requested that the carpet be cleaned and was ablidged. I was not comfortable taking my shoes off in my room. The headboard looked as if someone had been carving on it with a knife. It was uncomfortable leaning on it and getting fuzz in my hair. Rated 5 out of 5 by Esceeds expectations. An overnight visit to see the Rockettes; from the valet service to checking in; to dining,to shuttle service going and coming. Everyone with the hotel couldn't of been nicer and more helpful with anything you needed.easy to tell they all enjoyed their duties and it showed to all the guests. Great visit. December 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by We feel like home at the Sheraton. We visit Tampa very often and always stay at the Sheraton Riverwalk especially because they make us feel very special the moment we arrive. They remember our name and we always stay on the Club floor. We laugh and always have a great time using the fitness center, pool etc. April 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Hotel features The beds were very comfortable with exceptional quality linens. I had a view of the River from my balcony on 4th floor. The staff was professional and attentive. A problem with my room assignment was addressed immediately and solved. The restaurant had above average food. The carpeting could use update. March 12, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice hotel, but not with LivingSocial Overall this was a fine hotel, great location, nice amenities, etc., but trying to book a room for a LivingSocial deal we purchased proved fruitless. Multiple attempts were met with either unavailability or unresponsive promises of return phone calls. Too bad, the staff in person were all very gracious. December 24, 2012

I always enjoy staying at the Sheraton Tampa RIverwalk so I did not want to have to go to another hotel in the area for the remainder of my stay....Thank you Gabby and staff for a pleasant experience at your hotel every time I visit. Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Staff The restaurant, front desk, events, and cleaning staff were all 100% delightful. Everybody was so nice. We had a small business conference and everybody that attended commented on the friendly staff. The space is nice and our rooms had a balcony. There was a little traffic noise but - it's a city! While being a little costly, it was well worth it to be treated so well. The room was spacious and beautiful. The River view we had was absolutely gorgeous as well! March 5, 2013

Every employee was so nice, From the valet to the front desk and every staff member we met during our stay made our stay great. Rated 4 out of 5 by Noise Stayed 3/8-9/14. We were located on the sixth floor facing the street. There was a park music fair 2 blocks to the north. It was like we were at the park with these rooms on the sixth floor. These rooms need double pane windows to cut down the noise (park music and road over night) March 10, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by This hotel has a great staff I know you are remodeling the hotel, however, when I walked into my room, I thought there was blood on the headboard. It was not blood, just peeled vinyl. I will more than likely stay here again, because all the staff I had interactions with were all very friendly and that made my stay ok. October 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Big Improvement Much better than my stay a few years ago. Room was remodelled and clean. Was upgreded to the club level. The lounge had an above average selection of appetizers and excellent bite size desserts. There was even scrambled eggs and sausage for breakfast. Valet was efficent. March 28, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Evening of fun We had a wonderful evening which started with drinks and dinner at the Sheraton. Service and restaurant were excellent. We took the shuttle to Straz theater. Driver and front desk were very knowledgeable and happily assisted us. May 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by This hotel has great features I loved the location - great places to go outdoors for a run, many restaurants within walking distance, nice view from my room, and the staff was very helpful in answering all of my questions. I stayed for four days and the staff got to know me which was nice and made me feel at home. June 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great River View! I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable with a private balcony and great view of the river. The staff was very attentive and saw that all of my requests/needs were met. I would stay here again if I were staying in downtown Tampa. Good deal in price for my needs. July 17, 2012

We were in a bind concerning a Symposium related problem. Food was nicely done, however a bit on the pricey side. (Probably average for this area of the country) July 2, 2013

Everyone made a busy week "worry free" once I stepped foot into the Sheraton Lobby. My only comment would be that the rooms need a little updating. Drapery, furniture and beds were a little worn. Everyone was extremely kind and caring from check-in to check-out they were all so welcoming. Rooms desparately need updating or at least a good cleaning. February 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing Staff! From the moment I arrived to the moment I checked out my experience was amazing. I was staying there for a week to check out the area since I am planning on moving. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Location was close to everything I wanted to do, the room was clean but it did get very noisy due to some construction going on right next to the hotel in the morning. My room was facing the street so I'm not surprised it got pretty noisy. I'm sure if you get the river view it's quieter. The Valet staff is terrific! I was in and out often and the valet attendants always asked me if I needed directions and to enjoy my day, and whenever I would get back they always welcomed me with a smile and small talk and even remembered my last name! I never had to wait a long time for the car to be brought out either. Joseph the bartender was super friendly so I enjoyed having dinner and a cocktail at the end of the day when he was there. I will be traveling back to Tampa soon and I am definitely staying at this Sheraton again! Amazing staff! March 14, 2014

The staff was kind, the hotel was very pretty, beds were super comfy and the location is great for business downtown. The main hallway on floor 5 smelled a lot like cat urine though. Was very impressed with our phone call, minutes after we arrived in our room, just wanting to make sure everything in our room was to our satisfaction. Saturday eve during Gasparilla will be busy, need more wait staff. Provide mini fridge in each room and additioanl coffee, creamer. January 29, 2014

We were able to visit several place of interest due to the central location of the hotel, The entire staff was courteous and helpful. The only sour note was the actions of a waiter in the evening restaurant/ bar area. We loved the stay. December 17, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by You need a refresh badly Room fixtures dated and worn same assessment of other aspect of facility Pool water temp way too cold. Breakfast buffet should offer more for the price charged, but yet the price shoud be 5-10% lower. Nice lunch items served in our group room luncheon both days February 8, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Location This appears to be an older hotel that is designed for the business traveler. Location was great. View was great. Room service food was great. Only issue for me is that it doesn't seem to be as well maintained (paint, tile, etc.) as I would expect for $150+/night. December 6, 2012
