We went into SF to get away from 100 degree temperatures inland and had a perfect weekend. Great location for entertaining young children and adults, too. Ease of dining on site in the morning was appreciated, and in room with multiple choices made the end of the day much easier. The room's ample size made it simple for a family of four to spread out and have some space. Grandma and an uncle next door in an adjoining room was a plus for everyone.

We stayed for 5 days at your hotel and it met all but two of our expectations. The first was we have become quite accustomed to having Wi-Fi provided as part of the room package and not have what I call a rather steep price charged as an extra fee. Second, your breakfast that was included with our AAA package was the worst I have encountered in many years of travel. If I had paid the 25 dollars that you were charging I would have been extremely upset.

I got to SF early and went to see if I can check in at 12 noon after a 10 hour drive, and they understood and got me a room right away, room was very clean and the hospitality was even better, from front desk to cleaning crew excellent.

I called concerning transportation and the destination I had to go and was provided excellent directions and travel suggestions.
My needs were well provided due to my early and arrival and late departure.
Due to a race that was over after room check out time they provided me with service that allowed me to depart after check out with no additional charge. the late departure they secured my luggage until departure time.

I was on a romantic vacation with my husband, this was our third time staying here because we love the location. You can walk to Fishermans Wharf and many other places including the grocery store, but this time we realized there were kids loudly running the halls very early and we could hear the people above us and next to us. I have concluded that it was not the place for sleeping in or romance, but for the price and location, it is great.

We enjoyed our stay here, it's the 2nd time we stayed at this particular hotel. The only drawback was it is very noisy and can here people from street as if they are right outside your window. It is ultra modern so it's not as comfortable as I would like it, chairs in room are very stiff to sit on. Location is excellent though so for those that don't mind modern then it's great. Bathrooms are very, very small as well.

I liked the location of the hotel. Well connected to many tourist spots. I liked the overall staff service in the hotel right from reception to lobby and room service. I specifically want to mention the service rendered by your staff named Prince. He was very helpful, welcoming, prompt in service and professional. I suggest that you give guests free WiFi in their rooms. Or, it the lobby WiFi a ploy to get us down there with the hopes of buying pricey drinks and snacks? The location is great, but there are other hotels around, I would not stay at this Sheraton again. The fire pits outside looked nice, but people were always smoking at them. They got noisy on Sat and Sunday nights. They may be better in a location not directly under rooms?

If you're looking for an economical place to stay near Fisherman's Wharf - this is a great hotel! The decor and the staff are super friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Request the top floor w/an inside facing room to avoid street noise. This not a "high-end, ritzy property" so adjust your expectations. Great for families who want easy access to all of the tourist stops. We took our 8 year old daughter and loved it!

The staff had zero interest in me as this hotel is good for one thing, churn and burn tourist through the wharf.
I'm an SPG member and I used points to stay here. What a waste!
Parking for my SUV was $67 per night after tax.
The conceirge sent us to a practically dead and closedmexican food place.
The bellman told me theree was no jacuzzi because its too hard to keep clean but the pool was heated to 72! LOL

This was our second stay at this hotel . We brought our parents for their 50th wedding anniversary and they loved it. Decor Is definitely dated but the rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The staff are wonderful. The location is great for those visitors that like to walk or grab public transit as it is a block from the wharf. Avoid the drinks from the Hotel bar. I paid $4.40 for a can of ginger ale .

The hotel is conveniently located, rooms were clean & comfortable- staff were all pleasant & helpful. My biggest complaint is that there are no towelbars, hooks or a shelf to store your personal items and/or clothes in the bathroom- the only choice you have is to put your items on the floor or the toilet. Also, the elevators were very busy & full most of the time- had to wait for several before we could get on a few times.

The staff at the Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf was excellent; courteous, efficient and friendly.
The amenities at the hotel left much to be desired. The WiFi is terrible, it is slower than dialup and constantly dropping out. The bar/snack counter is way overpriced and the food is not very good. Lastly, the breakfast buffet is too expensive, especially considering the proximity of other, better, restaurants around the hotel.

Upond arriving at the hotel I checked in was told breakfast was included in the 4 days we where going to be the for 3 people!! Which was not true!!
Also $ 50.00 plus tax to park in the hotel Parkin lot which we where not told at the time of booking!! Unhappy! Getting into our room was extremely hot!!! NO MICROWAVE!!
NO REFRIGERATOR!!! SO so unhappy!!!

We felt this hotel was nice, but a little pricey for what we got. Room was nice but nothing exceptional.
Had problems getting a cab, in fact their staff tried to get us to use one of their cars at twice the price that the cab ended up being. They actually did not seem happy about then getting us a cab, and this was the first hotel I have ever been to where the cabs where not right there waiting.

We tried to check in about 12:30 a.m. After 9 hours of travel. There was already a guest who had been waiting some time. We had also waited 10 minutes in the parking garage. I looked in the office behind the desk, no one. No one at the bell desk. Finally I called the hotel operator by cell phone. He himself came to attempt to help the other guest, then us. My little boy was exhausted. When I asked about my muni tickets and boat tickets that were part of my package, the desk clerk was clueless. Finally in the room I tried to get the temperature above 65 degrees to no avail. I covered my son with bath towels and went to bed shivering. The next day I called down and the engineers declared the unit dead and in need of a total replacement. It They did replace it that day. Parking is $46 a day, and the breakfast buffet is average at best and $16.95 for kids! Outdoor pool and no spa.

My room was very nice. I had an entire suite all to myself. The sheets were clean and crisply ironed. Nice pillows. However for some reason the glasses were plastic. One of my glasses had a hole in it. My drink leaked all over the place. Also The room service is not 24 hour. I called 5 minutes pass midnight after cleaning up the mess from the leaky cup and they would not help me. No jacuzzi.

The rooms are clean and the location is exceptional, but seriously a sliding door for a bathroom door??. Sinks that have caulking coming off?
Paying for internet at this age, when you can get it free at Starbucks or even McDonalds. Seriously the internet should be free.
The valet parking guys were great and courteous as well as the front desks.
Lastly, the bedspring/box/mattress needed to be changed.

Upon arriving at the hotel after long hours of flight and ground travel, our room was presented to us for our anniversary trip situated next to the housekeeping closet and furnished with two beds. We had requested a king room. The check-in staff were insistent this was there only room available. After checking with the manager another room would be available, but not for several hours. We were not offered a bathroom, nourishment, etc. Just merely asked to go and look around the city and wait for a call. The call never came after 4 hours..so we returned to the hotel at 8 PM to receive a key. The next morning we were told at the breakfast place, our room reservation which was made for breakfast to be included, would only provide for one person to have breakfast a day. Again, back to the manager for resolution. The breakfast was cold at every station, eggs, bacon, and oatmeal. Unappetizing and the same for three mornings in a row.
This was not a romantic getaway place. It is catering to business people who are on the go or large tour groups. Aside from the convenience of location to the waterfront, this hotel is not customer friendly or welcoming in any way.

Good hotel with a great location - can walk to Wharf and Pier 39.. Very efficient and pleasant front desk welcome. Comfortable room with pool view at a great price - everything was in order. Will return here and would recommend it to anyone. Note however, if you need a taxi on a Saturday evening, call a company yourself as the concierge is not able to do this - not my usual experience at any hotel.

If you want to be able to walk almost everywhere, this may be a hotel to consider. The transit is also close by & only costs $2. When you check in, I would recommend asking to stay in the quieter area of the hotel as the windows and doors do little to keep out the traffic and other noise. We found everyone in the hotel very helpful and knowledgeable about the area & the beds comfy and very clean.

The hotel is very close to all the Fisherman's Wharf attractions. The hotel is very nice, clean and cozy. There is beautiful fire place sitting outside the hotel, which is perfect at night. Easy access to transportations connecting to entire city.

Feb 2013 I spent 2 weeks at the sheraton fisherman's wharf. I was disappointed with the state of the hotel as it is clearly showing many hard years of service. My room and probably all rooms had what I consider to be poor water pressure for shower and toilet and had a general run down look.
On the other hand the hotel staff is excellent and exceeded all expectations.

I was very excited about staying here especially given the multi-million $$ makeover. Sadly I was disappointed with the property - despite new paint and carpet it just felt old. Additionally it was noisy at night because its next to a bus depot and there was construction going on. To boot our shower broke mid-stay.....
All in all a disappointing stay.

This is the first hotel where the SPG program status was not acknowledged at check-in. When I called down to confirm that Gold receives free internet, they said it does not. I have stayed here a few times and each time they seem "worn out by tourists." (both hotel and staff) Though no one was particularly rude, they did not seem to go the extra mile, rather more the bare minimum.

Whilst location was fantastic the room was very small, in particular the bathroom and storage space. No free wi-fi in room which was inconvenient though it was available in lobby. Toiletries kept to a minimum and i had to ask for extra. Overall would say suitable for a couple but not for a family unless suites are available (none free for our stay)

Reception was initially cool, not what I am used to as a gold member. Didn't feel any recognition of my status and the number of times I have stayed with SPG.
Front desk did eventually warm up and did improve on our originally assigned interior room .
