I normally enjoy my stays at Starwood Hotels, but I can say that I will NOT be staying at the Sheraton on W. Cypress in Tampa, FL ever again. I entered the Executive Suite to find that none of the light switches worked because no one took the time to turn the light on that connected to the switch. Walking into the bedroom there was no light switch. Once I was able to light the room I found hair, and lots of it all over the sheets. There were several lengths which gave me the feel that the room had been used "at the hourly rate" (if you know what I mean). Housekeeping was prompt to come and change the sheets. I entered the shower to find that the faucet accents were falling off the wall and all the vents were filled with dust. Disqusting! Now to using the sink... The sink stopper was left in the down position and had broken. There was no way to unstop the sink. I had to use the room key to pry the drain open. After explaining all of this to the attendant I was offered no compensation for the horrible room I was given. I guess I need to get wild and act out to be treated like a loyal customer. Never again... The restaurant was good though.

Loved the peaceful atmosphere and helpful staff. The surroundings and services of the hotel were excellent.
AAA should add at least another star ( 3 1/2 would be more appropriate)

We have stayed in the Sheraton Suites 6 times in the last 3 months as we are using a medical facility in the vicinity periodically. The Hotel is much more convenient and easier than driving the hour home after procedures. The hotel is perfect for our situation. The bedroom is separated from the living area with a door so my spouse can be resting while I have access to the rest of the living area with easy chair, couch, TV, large desk, microware and refrigerator. There are large TV’s in both rooms. We have stayed in both the East and West wings toward the front and find it quiet and easy to get sleep.
The price was reasonable for the area and low when you figure in the large amount of space. The entire staff throughout the hotel has been great, going out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The dining room serves very good food again at a reasonable price with a happy staff. The whole hotel is kept very clean and in good repair even if it is not the newest. The rooms surround a large atrium with healthy trees, plants and a running stream which makes for a very restful atmosphere. For our needs it is ideal.

We thought it was a nice hotel with a good, sizeable room for a family. The kids loved the indoor pool but the water felt cold to the adults. Overall it was a good experience.

Every year my family comes to this hotel and goes to Spring Training, and each year the Staff gets better and better. Look forward to next year, thanks to the Westshore TEAM!

I know the elevator is being renovated but it really should be done as soon as possible. Waiting around for it is a real pain. The fitness center could afford a bench press.

Biggest issue I had was there were 2 broken elevators for the entire three days I was there. It took 6 minutes for me to get to the ground floor on the day I checked out

I thought all room had the Heavenly Beds. Our bed were so soft, you sunk into the middle of bed. I have stayed alot of Shearton and this was the worse bed I sleep in.

Enjoyed my stay. Room met my expectations, staff was courteous and helpful, cleaning maids did a great job, food was very good so overall a very pleasant experience.

The front desk couldn't get our checkout right! I called 4 times & asked for them to correct our bill. Also, the restaurant charged us on free breakfast coupons.

Nice hotel, other than the fact that the bathroom had hair stuck to the walls and the ceiling. paint on the ceiling an the walls was peeling off in the bathroom.

The room was very big and comfortable. It was extremely nice to have a seperate sitting/tv area from the bedroom. Things were very clean and well taken care of.

Facilities, should offer coin laundry room, internet access should be part of room cost not $9.95 per day, and continental breakfast or voucher for breakfast.

Staff acted as though they were doing me a favor, especially during check-in.....very unpleasant initial greeting. This had a lasting effect through my stay.

Everything was upto the standard except the rear noise blocking double door which could not be closed all the way so had to bear the noise from 275 highway.

staff is nice, quick check in. platinum guest get amenities and buffet breakfast with decent selection. very close to the airport, shuttle is available.

All was great here. Only negative comment was there were 2 out of 4 elevators under repair and there was a bit of a wait to catch one. Lovely suite.

Hotel was great overall. The only bad thing I could say is about the squeaky front door of the hotel room. Other than that it was a great hotel.
