Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for a mid-week stay I needed this hotel for a good night's sleep while taking the GA Bar exam. Great staff upgraded me to a quite room on the 11th floor with no adjoining room. Very comfortable amenities. Had an excellent (although expensive) Cobb Salad at the restaurant. Very good experience. Rated 1 out of 5 by Hot and Bothered Five co-workers and myself were attending a business meeting and booked our rooms at this Sheraton. It was a great experience except the fact that even though it was 35 degrees out side it was a constant 72 plus in the room. This facility uses a chiller system and the thermostats on the wall are basically fake. There are large cracks under the door to allow air movement through out the building. You cannot adjust the temp in your room. The staff were super nice and apologetic but the room was still hot. After moving to different rooms several times they finally brought us an isolating fan to circulate the hot air. Trying to sleep just made us Hot and Bothered. March 4, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by The hotel first floor was dirty and they did not have our room prepared to our request 3 months before our stay we requested a refrigerated for medication, no down in the room due to allergies and an early check in. When we arrived we were able to checkin early to a room with no refrigerator! We had to prolong our outing for a room temperature fridge to be delivered to our room possibly compromising the medication. We headed out and arrived back in the evening to a filthy restaurant with stuff floating in the water,surrounded by tables that needed cleared, the waitress even left our menus on the table. We eventually asked to leave and ordered a pizza. we wanted to eat it in the lobby but it aslo was a mess. Once we spoke to the manager of the evening he personally cleared some tables for us and brought a case of water to our room for the remainder of our stay. We were to be there for 3 and a half days for a conference. Once we finally got showered and climbed in bed we discovered that the beds were covered in down!! They had to come strip the beds at 11:30 at night and to top it all off they purt down on the beds again the next day! House keeping worker Ginger was very kind and apologeti and assisted as best she coule. Even thought we were charged for 2 extra people in our room we continually had to call for cups, towels and wash cloths to match the number of people in our room! If we can help it we will never stay at this hotel again! February 24, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by This hotel was disappointing 1. We stayed at this hotel because it was recommended by Step 2 CS test, and we were told there was a specific shuttle to take us to our test. The morning of our test, we got on the specified shuttle and it actually stopped to take other guests to the airport first. The bus driver apologized profusely and told us he'd have to drive fast in order to get us to our test on time. This was an unnecessary stress and inconvenience on the day of such an important exam. This was inexcusable and very upsetting. 2. The room was very dusty 3. There was only 1 water bottle in the room, and we were 3 people. I called to ask for more water bottles and was told I'd have to pay. The person on the phone did not believe I was a gold member. I had to speak to 3 different people before someone acknowledged my SPG membership and sent up another water bottle. 4. A cab was called for us by the concierge who told us it would cost $26 to go to a certain restaurant. The cab came, we got inside, and the driver told us he'd have to add additional charges onto the meter. We mentioned the price that the concierge quoted us, and the cab driver said "No way. The fare will be at least $40." We told him we didn't want that, and to please turn around. He charged us $10 for the 30 second drive out of the hotel parking lot and back to the hotel. 5. The front desk told us that the hotel shuttle could take us anywhere within 4 miles of the hotel, but when we come downstairs one morning to get on the shuttle, we were told no such service existed. Rated 4 out of 5 by Insulation of room walls The Sheraton is a great place to stay in but the only issue I had was that the walls of the room i had where to thin . I heard my neighbor snore , every time my neighbor next to me or above used the restroom or shower I heard the pipes and water run , anyone in the hall way walk or shot there doors . I am not sure how old the building is but insulation of walls and door choices are not great . I slept maybe 4 out of 8 hrs due to different noises and I am not a light sleeper. February 22, 2013

I went for a competition and was disappointed in the hotel when I found a pair of boxers from the previous person in my drawer and tags from new clothing on the floor. There were very limited food options for children and the service in the restaurant was terrible. The first day I was told there was only a limited menu which had no food a child would want, but other patrons were able to order off the childrens menu. The second day I was able to get chicken nugget and fries but it took 40 minutes at a cost of $21.00. I was also talked down to by the restaurant manager when I tried to find a solution to the problem. Changes definitely need to be made. Also the garbage was also overflowing in the convention area and the restrooms. February 19, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Sleepless in GA Terrible noise control. I called the front desk twice for noisy talking all night neighbors. The talking went on until after 5 am on valentines day. No cooperation from management to rectify the problem. I had to check out and find another hotel where I could actually get some sleep. February 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Lounge/Dining service was okay The lounge/ dining room was a little slow with orders,etc. Though the rest of my stay was wonderful. Everyone was very friendly at the front desk. There is no complimentary wifi though even in the front lobby which was a huge damper on my trip. February 15, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel exceeds expectations The hotel is beautifully designed with rich, welcoming colors, textures and furnishings as you arrive. The staff was immediately attending to a tired travelers needs. The room I stayed in was also a welcoming fresh and restful decor. The bed offered comfort for royalty with it's plush comforter and selection of pillows. Everything about my stay exceeded my expectations. I was delighted with the above average coffee service in the room and the little cafe in the lobby area! I will definately recommend this hotel to friends and look for similar Sheraton's in my future travels. February 11, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by nice hotel this hotel is very nice. I had but one issue,but if not for the excellent bar staff this was really made a none issue. They had two bar tenders on late as we arrived late. We were hungry and wanted something to eat. The restaurant was closed and they only served food at the bar. We decided to order along with several other couples who arrived late. Well these two girls where the bar tenders, waitress,cooks and servers. They never got flustered or upset. They did a wonderful job. I think maybe they should of had some help. My food was very good and warm. Hang on to those two gals. The stay was nice. rooms where very comfortable. February 5, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Gold Recognition My wife and I were there only one night, this time. I chose the beverage as my gift. The meeting went longer and I came in late that night I was unable to use it. When I went to the desk and said "I can't use it , it's too late" I was asked by the staff if they could!!!! I did not expect to change it for the 250 points but did not think that would be the staff response. Used The Gateway in the past and will in the future. February 4, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Checked in and given a room that had been used. I checked into hotel and after standing in line I was given a room. I went to the room and the key card didn't work. So I went back to the reception desk and the clerk stated that maybe I walked to quickly and the lock hadn't reset for my check in. He issues me a new key and when I entered room it hadn't been cleaned. Beer cans, empty water bottles, bed messed up, and bathroom used. So this again forced me to return back downstairs for another room. After all of this fiasco I was late for my dinner meeting. February 1, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Efficient Housekeeping Missing The room was a real disappoinment. The room smelled like smoke and was nausiating. The room was NOT clean; there was a "pile" of dust on the beds dust ruffle at the head of the bed and dust and dirt could be seen all around the perimeter of the room; housekeeping NEVER left any washcloths and tea bags and condiments were not replaced and the coffee maker didn't work (it was replaced after I called for a new one). It was obvious that no "inspectress" ever checked the room after the housekeeper had made up her mind that she was done with the room.....WRONG!! The overall cleanliness of the hotel left a great deal to be desired. The muffins and pastry served in the restaurant looked like they had been bought at Sam's Wholesale- not a Sheraton standard I am sure!! February 1, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Atlanta Hotel Was in town for convention and spent a night here. Was immediately upgraded as Gold to Club Floor and Lounge. The evening snacks were good, I felt like the breakfast could offer a little more, maybe some fruit? Was a little dissapointed that there is no hot-tub. Overall a very good SPG property and would stay here again. Great SPG elite recognition. January 28, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Awful service and food Here is a list of things that went wrong: - Food gave me stomach troubles - Wing sauce was disgusting, salad looked aged, bacon tasted funny, wine was from an open bottle and had oxidized, glass looked stained from wine. -Guest service didn't ask where I wanted my meal placed and just put it down on the TV credenza - Forgot my wake up call in the morning - I had serious doubts that the check in attendant had inputed my SPG points when I requested it and checked the next morning only to confirm that she had not inputed my membership number. Rated 5 out of 5 by Ths hotel and staff are wonderful The Front Desk Agents Lasonja and Angela were the most friendliness and helpful staff I ever met. I travel alot because I love to visit different cities. The elegance and structure of the building is awesome. And oh yes the rooms were so clean as well as the beds being comfortable. As soon as my head hit the pillow I was out...LOL. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back. Finally a five star hotel with a three star price! January 26, 2013
