Rated 5 out of 5 by Green Program The green program is a good idea and I sign up for it, but I did not understand the trash would not be picked up or the coffee packages would not be replaced, so after the first day I stop using the green program. January 31, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by so so The air condition did not cool off the room. It was hot all night and i had it set at 65 degrees. It took over 30 minutes for for the valet to get my car and for $42.00 for that type of service was way over priced. There is too much competition in New Orleans for hotel rooms to have sub-par service like that. December 24, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Took 2 moves to get a decent room! Checked in around 4:00 PM. Asked if I had a floor preference. I said no and was given a handicap room next to elevator. I immediately called down and requested a room change. Was told nothing available. Two minutes after check in??? Then was moved to a horrible room with no temperature control that worked. Got no sleep. Finally got a good room the next day. January 19, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Location! Friendly Staff This was a great location. The price was excellent. The only inconvenience I had was having to go back to my room because there was no ladies room in the lobby area. Front desk staff was very friendly. I wish there had been more seating area in the lobby. The views from the rooms were fantastic. December 30, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Expensive & over-priced Comfortable hotel but expensive room rates that don't even include WiFi use and breakfast/restaurant meals similarly pricey. They don't actually tell you the telephone charges in the room information - a 9 second USA-UK call cost me $30! I will not use this chain of hotels in the future January 3, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by bayou classic our stay was good there, friendly staff. I would definitely recommend it to others because i will be returning. However there was a problem on 11/24/12, upon returning to my room i inserted the key card and the door just opened. Apparently when housekeeping finished they didn't close the door tight but nothing was missing. November 28, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice Hotel On the positive side, I found the hotel to be nice and well kept. Personnel were very courteous, polite, and helpful. The room was nice, albeit somewhat worn, and the view of the river from the 22nd floor was exceptional. A couple downsides were that the prices in the hotel restaurant were very high and the room was dusty and needed vacuuming. December 6, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Renovation 2012 The room was excellent, but it lacked a couple of things after we checked in. A book of the hotel's amenities and a telephone on the nightstand. I asked for the telephone twice but did not receive it. For anyone calling the room you must get out of bed before the call goes to voicemail. Didn't like staying during renovations to the hotel. Rated 4 out of 5 by The elevator system is great The room was great. The only thing that I didn't like was checking in. I requested a certain type of room when I made my reservations. W hen I checked in my request had not been taken care of. They finally got it fixed but I shouldn't of had that issue. They also held a certain amount on your card which was not told to me in advance. October 1, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Need hot water for faucets in general hotel restrooms! I enjoyed my stay at the hotel except for three things: #1 The water that comes from the faucets in the general hotel restrooms is ICE COLD. There was no way to sanitize my hands after being at our conference. Consequently, I now have a cold as I return home and I believe this is a major factor. Why in the world is there no HOT WATER on your restroom faucets in a hotel of this superior caliber? #2 Room temperature in the ballroom for our final banquet (2/16/12) was FREEZING, probably in the 60's. Even with a wrap, I had to get up and leave and stand in the hall and was shivering as were others. It was truly miserable, like being in a deep freeze, and never warmed up, even with 600 people in there. #3 The cold water faucet in room # 4626 leaks on top of the vanity and was a constant problem, with water leaking all over the vanity. Also, the TV remotes are slow to respond, even after the housekeeper replaced the battery. Definitely not efficient. February 20, 2012

Perfect location for accessing FQ, Garden District, St. Charles Trolley. Staff is what you get everywhere else in New Orleans. Elevator system is unusual. January 6, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good location, very helpful staff I stayed here couple of days ago, it is huge but nice property, convenient location to the convention center and close to Bourbon st. good platinum recognition on a very busy weekend with two big conventions in the city. I was upgrade to an executive suite on the 27th floor, club lounge selection are descent. I would definitely come back. April 23, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Clean and Comfy The hotel was clean and comfy. The staff was not very friendly or helpful and the price of a pot of coffee was $22.00. I don't recommend the room service. However the room was beautiful and clean. The complimentary appetizers and the staff on the 42nd floor was very good. The food and service in the banquet room was very good. October 22, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by mediocre I stayed here for work for a 4 day conference and I was underwhelmed by the facility and the staff. Granted, I realize that the hotel must stay open during construction, but being woken up by drilling going on above me every day was not pleasant, particularly after late nights. The food was abysmal and overpriced. I ate at the one restaurant (the website said there were 2-3 restaurants available) and the food portion sizes were minuscule. A cup of gumbo and a side salad racked up a $42 lunch bill. Are you freaking kidding me? I could have walked acoss the street and had a 4- course meal for that price. Leaving the hotel for the airport, the valets put me in a sketchy cab that tried to rip off myself an another passenger and the valets put another person's bag in my cab so we had to drive 15 minutes back to the hotel in order to drop off the bag. I almost missed my flight. The only bright spot was the work out facility, which was clean and had great equipment. October 25, 2012

Rated 2 out of 5 by 'No room at the inn" I made a reservation 7 months in advance for a convention I was attending. Upon arrival I was told that my reservation did not extend through the date I had requested. The front desk said to check back because there were always cancellations. Every morning I checked and was told they were fully booked for July 27th. They made no offer to find me another hotel for the remaining night. On the final day when I checked again, I was told they still had no rooms available while making NO effort to check the room status on the computers. I said,"So you are telling me I need to find another hotel for tonight?" Yawning and with arms folded across his chest, the desk clerk said, "I hate to say it that way but yes." These were his exact words. I give Customer Service an F. I later heard from the convention Chairperson that there were rooms available for Friday night! I was not the only person attending the convention that was left without a room for Friday night. August 5, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Close to Everything Great place to stay. Close to most of all the main attractions that you would ever need. We felt pretty safe also walking around in the evening also. We stayed in the refurbushed area of the Hotel which was very nice. Make sure you get a room view of the Mississippi. Also make sure you do a swamp tour and eat those great crayfishes.. May 15, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Worst stay yet- $38 parking!! We go to New Orleans at least twice a year and after trying several hotels, we have found the Sheraton to be the best overall...usually. This trip was by far the worst experience yet. Check in on New Years day at 4pm. 12 guests in line and 3 in the preferred guest line but only 2 receptionists to check in guests??? This took about 45 minutes. Once we got to the room, the door was slightly open because the door latch did not work and the door would not stay shut or lock. Maintenance call very prompt. Bathroom door was not fitting properly either and would not close at all. Rooms are recently updated. Everything else went well until I received the bill and was charged $38 per day for parking which we were never informed about the rate hike. Like I said before, we travel here often and are used to the $15 parking or the occasional $25 during special events. I have never seen it above $25 at any hotel and not being told about the outrageous increase before checking in was ridiculous. Worst stay in New Orleans over the past 10 years. January 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful Hotel This newly renovated hotel is really wonderful. The rooms and (more importantly) bathrooms are clean. The floor to ceiling windows provide fantastic views. The fitness room is the best I've seen in a hotel. The outside pool is heated, so our kids were thrilled to be swimming outside in December. December 5, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Tulane visit Beautiful lobby, excellent location, nice front desk staff. I turned Platinum that day, not much to-do about that. I was still considered gold I suppose, until the stay was completed.It was a bigger deal to me. We had a nice, though small room on the 35th floor. Excellent views. My only issue- used hairy soap in the shower. FAIL! June 27, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hotel Stay Great location. Great parking. Valet service was fast and efficient. Check-in was fast. Room was clean and smelled like it had just been painted. Rate was good. Hotel was going through renovations so hopefully the rates won't go up once the renovationis complete December 29, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sheraton Hotel ... 9/29 - 10/2, 2012 Great hotel in all respects. Location convenient to everything we needed. LOVED your elevators ... no stopping at each floor up to 37th. View was wonderful, as requested upon making reservation. Water pipe break a minor inconvenience but taken care of promptly by hotel personnel. All good and we will definitely be back. October 5, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Plumbing Room 918 Imagine sleeping in a room where the water did not turn off in the tub? One of the staff members removed the drain plug. Reported to staff over 5 times... I got the same response each time "I will let maintenance know..." "How was everything?" was the last response when I checked out. I just laughed... Never again. October 19, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by Skip this Hotel while Under Construction The hotel was an absolute zoo. Construction was everywhere and the hotel was booked solid. I wouldn't pay over $100 per night until the construction is done. The room I had was very nicely renovated and it should be a nice facility once the work is complete. Until then, choose one of the 100+ other hotels in downtown NO. August 7, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Detert55 This hotel is perfectly located and service was amazing. We were very happy with our stay. Parking was a bit expensive but the valet staff were very efficient and quick with our vehicle. Would prefer the option to handle our own luggage. Hotel prices a bit high for us but overall stay was excellent. November 12, 2012
