It had been a long time since I had stayed at this property. The mirror in the room was dirty - as if someone had smashed their face against it - oily dirty. The bathtub had hair in it. The hot/cold water in the shower was very unpredictable. Not a stellar expereience by any stretch,

The first day we set foot on the hotel, everyone from the Sheraton staff treated us like royalty. The continental breakfast was great including the staff there. The cleanliness of the room. made our stay enjoyable and comfortable. Next time I'm in town, I would definitely stay here!

With TV shows taping on site, and Universal Studies next door, I would have expected the hotel to "look better" "feel better"...but, it was just okay.
The staff, generally, went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable, but the facilities themselves are in need of improvement.

This is a lovely hotel with outstanding staff but the sound insulation is very poor. The first night of our visit was fine but the second, sleep was impossible due to noisy above and next door neighbors. Security dealt with the first and I with the second but it ruined a great stay

This was the best stay I have ever had at this hotel. The staff, mostly front desk and staff outside to help with cars and luggage, were so attentive and friendly. My other stays were fine, but it seemed as if everyone went the extra mile this time. It made me feel very special.

Over $200 dollars for the night and the bed linens were dirty, the carpeting was frayed and there was a black widow spider on the patio door. Also, would benefit from a real coffee shop so quick breakfast items could be purchased. The current makeshift one had little selection.

Service in the restaurant was very poor (slow and inattentive). we were one of two table and it took what felt like 30min to be served a bowl of ice-cream in the evening. Breakfast we saw our waiter at most twice.
The cleaning staff was very loud and woke us up in the morning.

Sheraton Universal was very comfortable and the staff was great. It would have been perfect if there were some kind of complimentary breakfast.

Jayson checked us in and set the tone from the start. He was awesome. My wife and I felt very special and welcome at the hotel.
We also had great experiences with the staff at the bar and in the club lounge.
Close to Universal and the metro so you can travel around easily!

I loved this hotel. From the time you walk in you are greeted by the kindest people who truly make you feel like "Rock Stars." The rooms are plush and have the "New Car" smell with great views. Definitely worth every penny! The bartenders were very talented and had flair.

I'm not sure I've ever stayed at a hotel where the staff was as nice and as accomodating. My room was very clean and very comfortable. The next time I'm in the Burbank area and need a place to stay, I'll most definitely stay at the Sheraton Universal City.

Wish I was warned that staying on a higher floor would be extremely noisy on a Friday night, due to a party in the roof bar and the clean up afterwards (e.g. vacuuming at 5am). Everything else was pleasant.

The Universal has incredibly friendly and helpful staff - front desk, housekeeping, doorman, everyone. Very nice rooms, too. The pool area is being renovated (scheduled completion is January), but guests are allowed to use the pool at the hotel next door.

Jason did a wonderful job with the room he selected for my upgrade as a Gold Owner. We really enjoyed it. The Club continental breakfast was delightful with a beautiful view. The discounted self parking with covered parking was great especially with the hot temps.

Terrific location, close to subway, staff terrific. Only downside was no fridge in room, but as I needed to refrigerate some medication, the staff located a small fridge to put in our room. This was very kind and helpful for me. Will stay again next time we're in LA

stayed at hotel from 5/20-5/24 the help is wonderful,the rooms are clean and the beds are vey comfortable.you can get to anywhere from this location.The only negative I have is that there tv does not offer any kid stations for my granddaughter when she sleeps over

Randy, the manager, and his team did a great job for us on our recent stay at the Universal City property! The service was extremely personalized, the staff was friendly, and they met our special requests on all fronts. Kudos to Randy and the staff at this hotel!

The staff here is A+. From Sam, Max, Emeka, Joey and more at the front desk to Penny at the Mix bar. They are always very friendly, helpful and professional. Its nice to know that most of them have been there for years and understand the needs of their guests.

My room did not have a remote control for the television. I called the front desk and one of the engineers brought one down right away. The concierge booked a restaurant reservation which allowed us to be seated right away. I pleased with the staff services.

The odor was so strong when I checked in that I got a headache. Our room stunk all night. We asked for fragrance free and it sure was not. Everywhere on the entrance level was terrible. Thank goodness the restaurant was fragance free, at least where were.

Absolutely best staff! Everyone was attentive, helpful, and assisted us with every request. Room view was perfect too! We had such an enjoyable stay we actually didn't want to leave.. Highly recommend staying here it is worth every $$ spent...

There is no climate control in the hotel rooms, I was there during a cold snap and called every day about lack of heat in my room. There was also very limited hot water. Th is hotel is in a great location, but the infrastructure appears to be failing.

Nice hotel in a good location. The rooms are small and strangely lack either a minibar or fridge. No glassware or cups, no bath robes.
Hard to see it as a 4* without these basic amenities. Drinking coffee or drinks out of plastic is not a 4* to me.

Unbelievably bad experience. The room had urine stains on the carpet and bedding. Instead of having new coffee pouches, mine had been opened, so I had none. The towels felt like sandpaper. The only redeeming value of this room was the iHome radio.

We were very pleased with our stay at your hotel. We needed some attention to a plumbing issue and it was taken care of immediately. Further, Jayson at the front desk, was very helpful with transportation to the airport on relatively short notice.

We were attending a concert at the Hollywood Bowl and this is the perfect location to stay. We jumped on the shuttle and didn't have to worry about parking or traffic it was great! We will stay there again for any upcoming concerts we attend!

This was the first time we stayed at the Sheraton Universal Hotel. Hotel was perfectly located in Hollywood area. Close enough to all the attractions but yet far enough away.
Hotel staff was great and the rooms were extremely comfortable.
