I booked this room months in advance to attend a concert at BJCC. As stated check in time was 3:00pm ...I arrived at 3:48pm and was told valet parking was full...not sure how it completely filled in 48 minutes but I was very disappointed in this part of my stay!!

Overall my experience was great. The rooms are usually really clean however this time the bathroom could have been better. The king size bed is really comfortable and were the pillows. The appearance of the hotel is neat and clean and the staff are very polite.

The Birmingham Sheraton is conveniently located across from the Birmingham Civic Center. The room and staff were both great. However, I might suggest the following improvements: refrigerators or mini-bars in the rooms, free or less-expensive internet access.

Valet and front desk girl were so terribly rude we almost missed the concert. After the valet gave us the run around, and we asked the front desk clerk about it she basically called me a liar. Will never go back and will tell all my friends to never go.

The hotel was very clean. It is nice that you do not have to go out into the weather when attending an event at the BJCC. The staff was very polite and helpful. It would be nice if free Wi Fi was offered and at least coffee in the lobby in the mornings.

This is still a great property,excellent desk staff,valet staff and each employee I encountered was courteous and friendly..Staff were readily available to provide assistance when requested.I really enjoyed my Accommodatiuons.Again thank each of you.

This hotel buts up to an interstate of which my room had a direct view. The traffic from the interstate kept me awake all night long. Would only recommend this hotel to folks who sleep extremely hard or have a hearing deficiency.

TV would not work. Called engineering and it was repaired.
Was never able to get free internet access to work consistently. Called operator, transferred to front desk, transfered to tech support. Still never able to consistently access internet.

The restaurant was absolutely horrible. The quality of the food was sub-par. The soup was luke warm. We purposely didn't go out to eat the first night but rather stayed in to eat at the hotel. The waiter was clueless. The service was abysmal.

This hotel is a great stay! The front desk staff were courteous and helpful. We had only one problem with housekeeping service which was not refreshed each day in giving amenities for bathroom and coffee services in room and upon requests.

When I pay the amount of money that this hotel costs, I have certain expectations. This hotel did not live up to them. Our shuttle was involved in an accident before we left the airport and even before the accident, the driver was unfriendly and not helpful at all when I asked a couple of questions. Upon arriving to the hotel, everything was closed except the bar. I just wanted a snack, but there was nothing to be found unless I wanted to order from room service. However, I have an issue with paying $9 for a bowl of cereal or $15 for a waffle. Especially with what I paid for my room. That amount should include a continental breakfast, parking, and internet but none of those were included. As far as my room went, the room was okay. The tv had horrible reception and the shower was freezing cold even when turned all the way hot. The couple of times I asked staff questions, they were very unhelpful and unfriendly. I could not even find the pool because the signage was so confusing. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

Desk staff rude. Elevators not working properly. Valet parking not available or filled to capacity entire stay. Requested room not to be cleaned - cleaned it anyway. Called and left message for hotel mgr...did not return phone call.

Everything was great except for your club breakfast on the 17th floor! Awful, and your help was not good or friendly at all! there was no bacon, juice, water and barely some eggs! Not happy with that at all!!!!!

The staff at this hotel is very knowledgeable and they are willing to accommodate you in any way they can. They are friendly and will go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable and upon returning this will be my first choice.

I have been a SPG member for approximately 7 years. I have asked for upgrades at the Sheraton Birmingham throughout this time and it has never been available. What do I need to do to get the amenities due an Gold-Elite SPG member?

I loved the fact yhat you are walking distance from the Civil Rights District, Downtown, and thethe Convention Center (BJCC). You are a short cab or DART ride from 5the star dining and some great attractions. Great place to stay.

Stayed New Year's Eve. Arrived around 7 to be told valet was full and that I would have to park my own car. Our tv only got 6 channels and 4 of those were hotel channels. Told the lady at check out about it and it was "passed on"

Pool was closed, couldn't get the Olympics or the football game on the tv. Hotel has the worst cable I've ever seen, if they have any at all. Slowest elevators, just a terrible place to stay and would not reccomond this hotel...

Had a great rate so wasn't expecting the world, but...the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Nothing really in the area, but has a decent sports bar with decent food. Would defiantly stay he again.

We enjoyed our stay. We ate at the hotel and our grandchildren were treated with respect just like we were. Also, we did not have to leave the hotel for any reason. We all had a wonderdul time and will recommend this hotel.

From the valet parking, front desk, bellman, restaurant personnel, everyone was so nice and accommodating during our stay. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. I am looking forward to our stay there next year.

The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. Check in was a little slow, but that was okay. The tub in the room drained very slowly. It would be good if this could be corrected. Overall this is a very nice hotel.

This hotel is very upbeat with a stylish atmosphere, gift shop, coffee shop, and comfortable rooms. However, the Atrium restaurant has very slow service. I would recommend it if you are staying in downtown Birmingham.

Hotel overall was good. I chose the Green option on check-in. A good choice and the hotel honored the coupons for food. The only negative comment was the A/C. Had to lower the temp into the 60's to get the room cool.

We had too many issues to rate this hotel with a good rating. TV broken, ice machine broken, toliet broken. We waited so long for someone to fix the toliet that we fixed it ourselves. Not happy is an understatement.

Decent hotel. Very convenient if you have a gathering in the convention center, but awkwardly located otherwise. Very limited dining choices in and around the hotel. Take the trolley to 5-Points for some great food!
