Rated 4 out of 5 by katy127 hotel with a view?
In a fantastic location opposite green park. the reception staff are very helpful and the rooms large and comfortable. Unfortunately the bathroom needed updating as the bath had chipped enamel and the shower was out-dated. Also the view over green park is only available at extra cost.

Location great. Breakfast great. Cocktail bar and harpist absolutely fantastic. All staff very nice and welcoming. room beautiful (suite 548 I think) - only negative was that the air conditioning didn't work properly (warm air when it should have been cold, and the knobs not working).

Had a wonderful experience here 6 months ago but was not so lucky this time. Was put in a very small smoking room (had requested nonsmoking when reservation made). Moved at my request to a small dirty room & had to request another room. When checked in was not recognized a spg member.

Rated 2 out of 5 by BusinessTraveller11 Stay at The Park Lane Hotel
I was able to get into my room at 9:00 am on the day of arrival which was really nice. However, i wasn't recognized as a gold SPG member, wasn't offered any of the benefits and had to ask for them myself. I wasn't given a room with a view as requested nor was I offered an upgrade.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Beata This hotel needs improvement
Either we got the worst room in the hotel or the standard is much lower than I expected from a Sheraton hotel. The only thing that came up to my expectactions was the bed and localization. Otherwise the room was just an avarage room with an awful view (or actually no view at all).

Rated 3 out of 5 by Elkay Good Location but shows it's age.
Good location. Walk or short bus to many sites/attractions. Comfy beds. Could do with sprucing up - looking very worn. Strong smell of smoke in the hallway but thankfully not in the room. Service was fine but not what we have come to know and appreciate from other Starwood hotels.

Rated 4 out of 5 by DiDo13 Great location and great staff
A really beautiful hotel and the staff could not have been more accomodating. We enjoyed our stay and would go back to the hotel again. The room was a very long walk from the elevator and there was only a single easily available plug with which to charge cell phones and computers

Rated 1 out of 5 by Matt35 Run-down hotel with good location
The hotel really didn't meet my expectation and it isn't worth Sheraton brand.
- hepful staff (for platinum guests at least)
- central location
- nice, art deco interior (but old run-down furniture in certain rooms)
- wifi connection is really bad inrooms overlooking to green park
- rooms overlooking to the inner yard (more percisly overlooking to the roof of the lobby) has no central a/c, only standalone machines with pipes going thru the windows
- in rooms on the 8th, one can hear the central a/c on the top of bulinding non-stop, the a/c vent in the room is in front of the bed (the air comes into your face directly), whenever you or your neighbor open the tap or flush the toilet there is a very loud noise coming from the pipes for a minute long. Imagine what if your neighbor comes home during the night and goes out to the bathroom when you are asleep.
- airco issues inthe lobby and restaurant. I was actually sweating one morning as the a/c didn't work at all and no windows were open
- everything is very old in the hotel and it really needs a full renovation

Rated 3 out of 5 by Tes11 Stay at Park Lane Sheraton, London
i asked for bottle of water and it took almost 30 minutes to get it. The remote control for the TV was not in the room and it also took about 20 minutes to get one. The bath room was outdated and was very cold as the cold air from the outside was getting in into the bath room.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jmcmfc111 Lovely bar area.
Fantastic location. Staff polite and welcoming. Entrance and bar area very grand. Unfortunately room was old and tired, but the bathroom was the biggest disappointment. I wouldn't expect this standard in a 2 star.
Had an enjoyable stay but would think twice about returning.

Rated 4 out of 5 by phillipsk123 great location
we stayed at Thanksgiving, and were allocated a Classic room as no 'upgrades' were available. It was very tired, small and the bathroom needed a remodel. The location is great and an easy walk to Harrods. No club lounge. A comfy bed but woken up by the 'bottle collection'.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Paul45 Highly Disappointing
The hotel was extremely disappointing. Having stayed in various SPG hotels across the world it was well below expectations and poor value for money. Despite being well located and having a very good breakfast selection, the room was tacky and requires a lot of improvement.

really disappointed with the poor service and lack of facilities. staff not helpful at all. old hotel lacking the character for a building this age.
the charges for internet and breakfast were ridiculously high. not particularly close to the main streets and attractions.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Pumba2 Great Location but Tired
The location couldn't be better. The hotel itself is tired. The A/C wasn't up to the hot weather. Was not recognized appropriately as a VIP Platinum SPG Member. Been here many times before, unlikely to come back.

Stayed at 8/29/12 for 3 nights, not feel comfoprtable the date we walked into the hotel, no doorman to help our luggage, the check in counter located a little corner and the room was big but old & smelly, only good think about this hotel is the Central location of LONDON

Rated 5 out of 5 by YQRPlat Fantastic family stay - great rooms and a great team
We just completed an excellent six-night stay at the Park Lane hotel as a family of 5. The property was excellent and accommodated us with large, nicely-appointed connecting rooms. It was a perfect combination of space, modernity and privacy for a larger family - unusual in central London.
The staff were exceptional. The GM, Kieran, worked with us in advance to ensure our room needs were met, making specific recommendations that were proved very useful. Housekeeping helped us with an unfortunate incident with our daughter. The excellent concierge team helped us do everything from mail a letter to make reservations for us.
The location is an obvious advantage. It was wonderful to be able to walk out of the hotel and hit Green Park in one direction and Shepherd Market in the other.
Overall, we had great rooms and a great stay.
Lastly, a word about the breakfast buffet. It's one of the best we have experienced in our travels, full of fresh and healthy options as well as an excellent Full English.
We will return.

All of the staff encountered were great. Stuart in the conceriege area was very helpful before our cruise to London and while we were there. The front desk staff were all cheerful and easy to deal with. Room was large and the bath was great, especially the towel warmer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by cr02wow A pleasant stay
Expectations are always high at this class of hotel and the Park Lane does not let you down. Having said that I do find the rooms a little on the small side and having to ask for tea/coffee making equipment is a bit of a pain. Overall though a highly recommended hotel.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jennifer987 Worst Starwood hotel I have stayed at
Staff was unfriendly, and the hotel did not have the heat turned on the rooms "because it was still mild" but it was 44 degrees at night! The rooms and hotel were nothing like the web site. I travel 3 weeks out of the month and this is the worst hotel I have stayed at.

Rated 1 out of 5 by 06902 Avoid this hotel!
This hotel has not seen any renovation in who knows how long. The room was small and cramped - you could even open the bathroom door without hitting the bed. The nightstand kept you from pulling out the desk chair. The elevator didn't work for entire time i was there.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Richmon Centrally located
We enjoyed our trip to London and the accommodations at the Park Lane. It was centrally located, close to shops, restaurants, theaters, etc. Staff especially, concierge was extremely helpful and courteous. Room was on the street / noisy side and should be refurbished.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Traveler12345 Needs major renovation
Hotel needs major renovations. I emailed the hotel before my stay asking for a coffee
Pot and hair dryer be in the room, I was told to ask at checkin- I thought I had just ask? Needless to say I did not get either during the 2 days I was there.
Location was great!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Londoncalling Not Sheraton Standard
This property is not well maintained and the staff is not very well trained. Starwood Platinum membership does not seem to be considered for the simplest requests on the reservation such as a non smoking room. This is a two star hotel at most.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Energy38 Great location, friendly staff but overall not a 5* by a long way.
Firstly, great location, the staff were super friendly and very helpful across all areas of the hotel, the Italian restaurant was OK.
On arrival I was upgraded to a suite which I was very grateful for (thank you) given the condition of the classic rooms. I had originally booked a classic room and my colleague was staying in a classic room (not an SPG member).
The classic rooms are not only dated but really worn and uncomfortable, the room quality is more of a 2* hotel. The separate air conditioning system, very noisy and understand broke down half way through the night.
The suite was larger and more comfortable however still very dated and carpets stained and worn etc…
The entrance hall and lounge area are very elaborate, sadly no reflection of the guest rooms unfortunately.
Possibly the most un 5* standard hotel I've ever stayed in. The hotel is in rather desperate need of a refurb.
Such a pity Sheraton have such a huge gap in quality standards across their chain.
I would not encourage anyone to use their points on a stay here, there are other Starwood hotels in London of better quality.

The quality of tea and breakfast buffet was extremely disappointing. The hotel is in a nice location, which is why we stayed there again. (This trip had been our second to the hotel) Compared to our previous trip however this visit wasn't nearly as good as the last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Aussiewolves Wonderful luxury at an affordable price.
The Park Lane is a wonderful hotel that has kept many of its old world charms. The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and all the modern amenities. The hotel staff are friendly and courteous. The beauty of this stay is the old world experiences on offer.

Prior to staying at the hotel I requested an upgrade as I currently have 10 suite nights, however I could not get an upgrade (probably as the Olympics were on). However, when I arrived at the hotel I was given an upgrade to a Suite which was a really nice surprise.

Please sort out the wifi and phone signal coverage.
The wifi drops out all the time making it extremely difficult to do business. It's been like this during past stays also.
