The shower nozzle in room 1044 could not be adjusted. It was stuck on a very fine, stinging spray.
The sink water nozzle had an aerator that dispersed the water so widely it would not clean a 5-bladed shaving razor.
Fandango's restaurant is rated #4 in downtown Atlanta but its decor looks 3-star. There were only two waiters working on a mid-week evening. At 7:20 p..m. I had to wait almost 15 minutes just to order a glass of wine.
I ordered a glass of Kendall Jackson Cabernet for $12. The house "pour" is about 4 ounces. This translates to paying $75 for a $17 (retail cost) bottle of wine. That's highway robbery.

This has always been a very solid business hotel with a staff that is overwhelmingly friendly, efficient and responsive.
The team in the Executive lounge has always been in a class by themselves making the start and the end of a day a lot easier. Now, with its newly opened facilities it is that much better. A beautiful space made all that much better by the honest hospitality of the staff..
it's great to see how the management team and the owners are committed to increasing the value of one's stay.

We have stayed at all of the surrounding hotels while attending Dragoncon and I have stayed at many hotels in my lifetime but this hotel tops the list. First let me start with the staff. From the reservation team to the bell staff this is one quality team. I had temporarily lost my credentials and instead of saying "well that is your problem" the staff took over and put our fears to rest. They checked us in and treated us with care that unexpected. We were blown away. Shortly afterwards the documents were located but for the duration of our stay they made us feel right at home and assisted us with our stay. Wow. This service so rare today. We have found a home. We will be going down for non convention weekends in the near future.

Enjoyed my stay at the Sheraton Downtown Atlanta. The know how to treat their SPG Gold guests. Very convenient location. Will definitely stay again. Only issue, the club lounge did not have a meat offering in the breakfast buffet for the 2 days I was there. Maybe they were out of meat. Not sure.

I booked this hotel for the night for me and my family with all intentions on letting the kids play in the pool. To my dismay, the pool was closed for renovations. I was upset because this was not communicated to me during the booking process or when I checked in. I wasn't aware until we got dressed and was greeted with a hanging sign that said "Closed for Renovations until December 18th". If I had known the pool was closed, we would have picked another hotel. The only alternative the hotel could offer was to send us to one of their partner properties up the street (3 blocks away). This was also not acceptable because it was mid-December and inclement weather. I will not be returning to this location.

The hotel is fine. Period. Nothing great, nothing bad. The hallway that we walked from the elevator to find our room, was a bit silly. A full circle practically, walked past 90 rooms. We later figured out we could cut through the pool area and go the opposite way, and knocked 3 minutes off the walk. It only matters if you are carrying every bit of your potential in luggage, while holding a very full bladder. LOL.
Renovation of the pool was happening, and i think the pool area is fantastic, so we are sad that it wasn't open, but will stay here again. Simply because it is fine, and fine is good when you are in reach of everything downtown ATL has to offer.

I used best rate guarantee for this hotel, but they said they did not receive the rate. After I told them the rate, they still intentionally charged me more and leave no reponse after I sent a complaining email to spg program and ask for corrected rate. No more stay with this hotel again.
Good room condition, ok location, ok food.

My husband and I had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. While I understand that mistakes happen, how the staff reacts and/or corrects the issue is very telling of their customer service standards.

I was as impressed by the staff as I was disappointed by the facility. The staff was incredibly friendly, responsive and service oriented. They went out of their way to try and ensure a good stay. Unfortunately the facility really lets them down. It is terribly outdated and not a good representation of the Sheraton brand. From the torn front awning to the gloomy and loud hallways, the place seriously needs a renovation.

There was a wonderful young man outside who took my bags as soon as I got there and the same young man helped me with my bags when I left (I usually have to flag down someone at other hotels). I did not get his name but he was wonderful and so very kind. Tiffany checked me in and she was patient and kind (I had troubles with my reservation). The concierge an African gentleman was attentive to my needs as I was lost a few times. Jeffrey and Savanna from the club lounge were wonderful. They just made me feel at home. My housekeeper Olivia was so very sweet to me. I have not been treated this well in such a long time. Thank you all, you have a spectacular staff at this Sheridan.

It was three of us two from L.A and one from Atlanta she came from L.A and moved to Atlanta, we had a nice time the staff was off the chain very nice I really felt good I enjoyed myself from the time I step off that plane until I got back on the plane to go home. When we come back that is where I will stay. Thank U for your hospitality.

The Staff in the the club room treat their guest like family especially miss Shirly and Jeffery. They make you want to come back. The only thing some of the front end staff could be a little friendlier and atleast try and resolve your questions rather than say I dont know its the night shift they did it and they never left any notes . However I would definately recomment this hotel and i will return.

Spent 4 yrs planning with staff at this hotel for a major Scottish Highland Dancing Championship. Excellent results from the first day to the last. Our 450 person banquet meal in the Grand ballroom was on time, hot, and high quality. Staff very well organized and completed each of our requests in a timely manner.

Our company's travel agent overbooked several of our team members. The hotel staff stayed calm, friendly and professional. They accommodated everyone and gave many people free meals at their restaurant and discounted their rooms....even though the mix up was not their fault. My room was excellent the staff was beyond helpful. Every single staff member that I had contact with went the extra mile to ensure that I had what I needed. I wanted to check out some restaurants in the area. I was given a list of close by places. Then they gave me a Marta map and gave me detailed instructions on how to get to the restaurant that I chose such as how much the round trip cost would be, all the way down to how far I had to go, and how to get back. They even told me how to get my pass for the train. I ventured alone in a city I had never been to before and made it back to my hotel without incident becus of the directions I was given. I would stay at this hotel again with no hesitation.

Where to start....the staff was the friendliest of any place I've ever stayed!! Always met us with a greeting and an offer of assistance if needed. Prompt service with the valet parking and the bell service....easy and informative check in and out....I can't say enough about the staff being friendly, helpful and professional! The room was excellent....nicely appointed, very clean and comfy bed. Now Fandango restaurant....wow, just wow! Excellent meal, drinks, and service! One of the best hotels and restaurants I've ever visited!

This was my children's first time staying in a Sheraton Hotel without me (ages 20 and 23). I gifted them enough points for a free stay - they were so excited and grateful. They traveled to Atlanta for a Book conference. They had an amazing stay except for the five (5) times they needed their room key re-keyed! I trusted the Sheraton to fix everything and the Sheraton was very accommodating - thank you!

Good location, great staff attentiveness, room very comfortable. But, I paid the extra fee per day for the Club Lounge breakfast and appetizers; we were NOT satisfied with this! The breakfast was little more than what I have received at other hotel chains as COMPLIMENTARY. And, of course, the appetizers were just that, appetizers. Most of the food available was not suitable to my grandchildren who were accompanying me on this stay. I would NEVER recommend this extra expense to anyone. Just bring your own food, use the fridge in your room and the microwave in the deli area (which I never saw).

Upon checking in to our room, we used the bathroom to wash our hands and the water in the bathroom sink was scalding hot! It would not cool down and we had to contact maintenance to come up and repair it. Later that evening, and the next morning, the same thing - SCALDING HOT WATER! Customer service is great, but, more attention needs to be on a total upgrade of the bathrooms. We were in an "Accessible" room, with one sink. This was very inconvenient!

Got a corner room, nice view but despite turning the heat up very cold. Did not select Green Opiton on check-in but got notice under my door that I had. Went along with it but did not get credit for using the program. I frequently used this hotel due to this sites practice of upgrading Gold member to the Club floor. They are no longer doing this. When I mentioned that is the primary reason for my choosing this hotel that is otherwise less convienient when I travel to Atlanta the clerk suggest I wait till I hit Platinum status then it wont be a problem. She then gave me the Assistant Front Desk Managers card to call. I did. Was placed on terminal hold so I hung up and used the general managers comment line. Front Desk Manager returned the call, I explained to her why I use this hotel. She offered to comp me one day of Club access and would put new keys under my door. Never happened. I contacted the front desk in concern that someone else now had keys to my room. They knew nothing about the new keys and suggested I contact the FD Manager in the morining when she returns. I did, was told that she was not in yet and to check back later. I did a few hours later and was told that she was still not in yet. I asked when I should check back. Only then was told that she was off for the day. I understand that the hotel changed thier policy and that's fine. But also understand that customers choose certain locations based on prior services that stand above the pack. This facility failed accross the board. After this I gave up on getting anything resolved by this management staff and will look elsewhere when I return to Atlanta.
