Excellent location with easy access to subway and sbahn. good property, nice club lounge with good service. nice fitness area, though rooftop location and large windows overwhelmed AC and made it hot.
Staff VERY helpful. Left contacts in room, went back a couple hours and they could not immediately find them. Checked again next day, and they were still searching. Called me a few hours later and I had just left on airport train. Manager drove to airport and returned them to me in person before I left on my flight.

I have stayed here many times. The rooms are nice, staff is excellent and the gym is quite nice. One of the better executive lounges around -- excellent food selection, something available all day and a very friendly and attentive staff.
Location is great -- steps away from the U-Bahn and I really like the area. The West End is very nice with a large selection of restaurants (2 Thai restaurants in walking distance -- both very good). One of my favorite SPG properties.

A nice and reliable choice if you are in Munich. Not centrally located, but very close to the subway.
Nice Starwood preferred guest recognition. The suite we had was pretty standard, but the lack of a sofa/sitting area was a let down.
The room had a modern feel and it was very quiet. The king bed had two smaller blankets (instead of one king sized one), but I have seen this at other hotels in Germany as well. We asked for an extra pair. The king bed was also smaller than your average SPG king bed - a bit strange, as I thought the SPG/Sheraton beds were universal.
The club lounge is very good at this hotel, with a lot of food/beverage selection.And plenty of refills throughout the day. You can easily sit here for hours and enjoy the great view. Worth the extra charge.
Local area is nice, with a lot of great restaurants/bistros. Would return in a heartbeat.

We had to reschedule our original trip to Munich due to unexpected weather conditions in Hungary, originally the booking was not amendable but Sheraton offered me a reschedule possibility though. Many thanks for that and the perfectness, tidyness and professionalism you offered while our stay. Spa area was very nice. Food and beverages prices more higher than in Munich city center, this was the only disadvantage.

If you are looking for a nice quiet place to rest, this is what you should be looking for. The location is in a quiet neighbourhood, easily accessible by the U/S Bahn to the city areas. The room is 5 star, with all the necessary amenities laid out properly. The staff are polite and willing to entertain my inquiries on where to sight-see and even where to have breakfast!

Stayed here in October 2011 with our then 6 month old son and had a wonderful stay. Helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms, well connected by underground and trains. Good breakfast. Room was too hot on arrival but easily dealt with and swimming pool was out of use but otherwise a fautless service provided. Would definitely reccomend and stay again in the future.

One of the best hotels I ever stayed at. Breakfast is super, so as most of the staff. Men in the reception desk were more than helpful & knowledgable and have anwers to any qustion. I am sorry to say that ladies in the reception were not up to hotel standards, they kept smiling with no real trial to help. Other than that every thing in the hotel is just PERFECT

Room and amenities were very nice. Location very near the underground and train station a big plus. Front desk was very helpful in giving directions and how to use public transportaion. Room service food portions were small, cold, and overcooked. Food in the restaurant was much better.

Stayed for work. Extremely comfortable hotel. Every person who worked at the hotel that I interacted with went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of so I would definitely stay here again. Right on subway line so easy to get around too.

The hotel is in a quiet area of the city, but is very convenient to get to by public transportation. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff memmbers were nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good!

Of course it is not situated in the centre of Munchen, quite good value for money.

Recently stayed for two nights for business. Traveling with four colleagues. As a Platinum member was disappointed in the room allocated, especially compared to my colleagues who had no status. Originally all allocated the same category room. When asked about an upgrade, I was told the hotel was fully booked. Upon checking online, the hotel still had many suites available. The front desk gal had to check with the manager and they begrudgingly upgraded me. Not the sort of experience expected.
Facilities are fine. Room was average compared to other Starwood properties in Munich.
Club lounge was good with a great breakfast and evening snacks.

My wife and I and four of our friends traveled to Munich and stayed at the Sheraton Munich West Park Hotel ( Room 636,618,720) from 5/18/12-5/24/12. It was a good place to stay for the most part; close to the subways and the neighborhood was nice. The staff was friendly and tried to do everything to make our stay pleasant. We had an unpleasant experience with one of the staff members from the restaurant named Annika. We returned to the hotel after a busy day of sightseeing and sat down at the restaurant outside where there was no one eating. We had a bottle of water and strawberries from the farmer's market. Annika very rudely told us to leave because we didn't get the water and "food" from the restaurant. She displayed extremely poor customer service and was an embarrassment to your establishment. The following evening we sat at the same table outside, there were some people eating inside but no one sitting at the outside part. The same woman told us that we had to get up and give her the seat cushions because the restaurant was closing. Again, she was extremely rude and made us feel unwelcome in our own hotel. The restaurant remained open an additional hour after she insisted that we give her our seat cushions. When we asked her for her name she refused to give it to us until we spent over 5 minutes of our time insisting that she give us her name. We were surprised to receive this kind of treatment since everyone else at the hotel was extremely accommodating. We have traveled the world and stayed at Sheraton hotels many times and this is the first time that we encountered such issues with a person who is supposed to be representing the Sheraton name.

Many visitors come to Munich to explore great architecture. But the SPG-properties in the Bavarian capital will not make the list of outstanding architecture, unless you are a great fan of concrete.
However, don´t judge the properties from the outside.
The front desk staff at Sheraton Westpark will get you in a good mood. They are very friendly and personal, and they greeted me a my son in very nice way.
The club rooms are excellent, modern and newly refurbished. I had the pleasure to overlook the train tracks (appreciated by my son at least!). The club lounge is rather small, but OK.
A little bit outside the city center, but the U-bahn is just outside the door.

Stayed for 3 nights after a group tour to Southern Italy and Sicily, and were delighted to finally get back to the comforts of Sheraton. The hotel location was great and we had no problem using the trains to/from the airport and into the center of the city using day passes. Did not really use the restaurants in the hotel because we wanted to have the Bavarian experience of the beer halls and Pork Knuckles. The beds are comfortable, and the coffee maker comes in handy if you want to have late night tea or coffee. Overall a great hotel to use in Munich if you want a have a base to use to explore the city. I will definitely come back to this hotel again if I'm in Munich again.

I visited the hotel together with my wife on a vacation in Munich. The place is very good for ppl seeking calm and comfort, u get there easily by underground (U4,U5) and it is well located to city's best attractions.
The hotel is clean, comfy +there's a very good gym.
The staff is fantastic, very responsive and friendly. We've been kindly assisted by Ms Zimmer, she made all arrangements for our stay in Munich, thanks to her our stay was very productive. Visited many places in and outside Munich.

As I travel to Germany about 7 times a year and often to Munich I was disappointed on my most recent stay at the Sheraton West Park. I got there late at night to only find that there were barely any rooms inspite of the fact that being a platinum member, I had confirmed my reservation for 6 rooms via email and a follow up phone call.
The evenin mamager was totally non chalant about any upgrades as they were totally sold out.
I requested that a Manager call me prior to me leaving Germany on Friday and I did not hear from anyone.
Multiple other Starwood options in Munich I would try before the West Park.

Overall experience was excellent except one misinformation from the receptionist when I checked in.
I was supposed to have daily dining credit of Euro50. But when I checked in, I forgot if it was a daily credit and I verified with the receptionist. The receptionist told me it was only one Eur50 for the entire stay of 2 nights. So I only utilized the dining credit one time when I could have used it two times. Eur50 dining credit was wasted.
I should have made it a point to always check my own records.
Hotel staff should have been more careful when providing information to the guests.

Nice to receive pre-arrival email to help plan our stay. Disappointed that there were only 3 sets of towel when we specifically booked for 4 people in numerous emails. When we asked for one extra towel, the staff said there was no more and told me to get one from the fitness center which was a very disappointing response. One night at 1am when we all went to bed for a couple hours already, a hotel staff called and asked if we ordered any room service. This was an unacceptable mistake and I was really upset. The staff needs better training in customer service.
