Rated 5 out of 5 by WELL DONE SHERATON JFK I have to be honest. I was expecting a hotel that because of its proximity to JFK would be a bit 'neglected'. I was happilly surprised!! really impressed by how comfortable this hotel is, how SUPER clean. WELL DONE Sheraton JFK There was one incident. i forgot my wifi portable devise in my room (I put it to charge and i forgot to take with me when i left!). I called the hotel and within 50mins (no joking, under one hour) Lynda from housekeeping send it to JFK, T7 with a driver and I HAD IT BACK!!! WELL WELL DONE...made my day!!! defo will be back. Rated 2 out of 5 by Guest room experience sub-par The room was stuffy and we could not get it to cool. When assistance was asked for from the front desk, the person said "it sounds like you know more about it than we do, so see what you can do." Also, the sink leaked, one of the beds was not bolted to the headboard so it moved, almost causing my husband to fall in the middle of the night. Lastly, tv reception was bad due to weather conditions, so we could not watch our college alma mater football game because the channel wouldn't come in! September 16, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Tired property After taking the JFK shuttle train to the airport's "Hotel Shuttle pickup" station, we had to call the hotel three times over several minutes before anyone actually picked up the phone to tell the driver we were there. Although I'm a Gold SPG member, I was placed in a room on the 2nd floor under the flight path. Housekeeping left the window open for some reason, and it doesn't close easily. We had to get someone to close it, and he had to actually climb on our desk on all fours to do the task. Even with the windows closed, the airplane noise is loud due to poor insulation and being under the flight path. The room didn't have as many electrical outlets as one might expect in a modern room but was otherwise fine. Service at the restaurant was slow even though there was only one other table occupied. Rated 4 out of 5 by Good But Could be Better A standard off-airport property with too small of a reception (only 2) to deal with the shuttle-loads of check-ins all arriving at the same time. Shuttles should be more frequent or perhaps on demand. Everything as expected in terms of room (apparently all standard so no Platiinum upgrade) and Club access but no real platinum frills. Over-priced for what is a very standard hotel but I suppose it’s what the market will bear as it seemed full of air crews and transients. September 23, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by SPECTACULAR SERVICE!!! While the hotel was a bit small and dated, it was sparkling clean and the staff's service FAR EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS. My 2 daughters and I stayed there the night before an early international flight out of JFK. LaToya went out of her way to help us find a room to accommodate our needs. Extra blankets were delivered in record time. But above all else, Abdul offered to go to a pharmacy in Flushing for me when I realized AT 11:-00 PM I forgot to pack an important medication. He retrieved it and delivered it to my room in record time. Finally, our shuttle ride to the airport could not have been more pleasant. The driver was professional, polite, and prompt. Overall, simply HOME RUN hitting service. THANK YOU SPG!! April 30, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by This hotel lacks SPG Recognition. Upon my recent check in at the Sheraton (JFK), I was informed that the entire 7th floor "which is the SPG floor" is reserved for (9) months. I believe this was a bad move on the hotels sales staff on not recognizing that there are many Platinum Guests that stay at this property. September 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great stay, Professional Staff, Close to Airport I stay at this hotel frequently due to the close proximity to JFK airport and continue coming back because of the quality of service I receive from all the staff, specifically from Sam Watson. She is always helpful and has gone out of her way on several occasions to help me out. The hotel offers a good gym and restaurant and if you're platinum SPG member you will get to hang out in the lounge which will have a good selection drinks and food. Overall I am very happy with this Sheraton and recommend it to anyone who needs to stay close to the airport. September 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Satisfied Staff was friendly and helpful for my weekend stay. I found I was upgraded to Club Level with complimentary breakfast, which was a pleasant surprise since it simplified my get away day. The bed in my room was adequate but did not seem up to the usual 'Sweet Sleeper' standard I have come to expect. I mentioned it at checkout, the staff was surprised and concerned, and said they would investigate. It could just be that bones are getting older. When I returned to the hotel late on Saturday evening there was ample street parking, but I was happy to pay for the security of on-site, since the area is industrial and somewhat isolated. Planes pass very low overhead, but noise was not a problem at all. Very nice. July 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Hotel I have had the pleasure of staying at the Sheraton JFK for the better part of a month during a relocation to NYC. For starters, it seems that this property has been recently renovated. The rooms and public areas are well kept and very comfortable. Where this property truly shines though is through the genuine efforts of every member of the staff. You really get the feeling that everyone appreciates your business and are truly happy you are here. I would highly reccomend this property for short or long stays. August 28, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Lounge!! I always enjoy the atmosphere at this hotel made especially special by the staff who are just amazing. Nancy and the front office staff plus the lounge staff which despite its size is one I truly enjoy. They pamper you like they do at Sheraton's in Asia. The hotel location does not prepare you for the excellent service they give you as a customer let alone a Platinum. July 17, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Amazing customer service The fact that the hotel is in the middle of nowhere and it is small is fully compensated by great customer service you get from the staff. From the moment you call for the van to pick you up from the airport till the moment you check out. Very personal, even employees you meet in the elevator, house keeping - all super friendly. Special recognition to Chavez and Marta at the front desk. They always were going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. If I was to open the hotel I would definately steal those two people from your staff. Keep on doing amazing job ;-) Happy Customer July 28, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best staff ever! I had to stay at the sheraton for 3 weeks while I trained at JFK. The staff could not be any friendlier. From the moment I checked in the front desk girl told me if I didn't like where my room was (right by the elevator) to let her know. Then the service at the restaurant with Jay was amazing! She knew me by name after one day! Chavez was amazing! Always accommodating and helpful. George (just George!) was fabulous. Livingston was also so amazingly helpful. The entire staff really made my time there as easy and carefree as possible. Would always stay there if I had to go to JFK! March 22, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Choice for Overnight Stay I typically do not stay near the airport when in the NYC area, but on a recent trip I decided to give it a go. I arrived around 11pm from LAX with my rental car. The parking lot was full, so I was directed across the street into an alternate lot. The surrounding area is a bit seedy so I did have some concerns about the security of my vehicle. I received an upgrade, the front desk staff was very nice and I was offered a choice of amenities. The room had been set to 80 degrees, so it was a little uncomfortable at first. It did cool off quickly. In a pinch I would stay here again. July 3, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by food and beverage Our room service dinner was awful. We ordered two cheese burgers. It was 2 a.m. in our time zone, 9 p.m. in NY. The burgers were precoooked, frozen and microwaved. The cheese was a splat. The bun was just out of the package no toasting. The salad greens were old and limp. For this dreadful and easy to prepare properly dinner we paid $55.00. I was comped $18 when I complained at check-out. Clearly your facility has many international travelers who want something quick and good to eat. We were exhausted and didn't have the energy to order something else. May 6, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by This hotel certainly needs improvement The hotel is an average hotel all around making it less desirable and overpriced. Had problems with the internet and the signal from a nearby hotel kept coming in. To make things worst, I took the 1pm shuttle to the airport and the driver had his urban music way too loud, I had to request 3 times to lower it, finally I said I had a headache, further seems like he had an assistant and every time they close the doors, they would slam it. Go somewhere else, this is a no frills, overpriced Sheraton (not worth carrying the name, not even a Four Point banner) August 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Favorite Hotel Very nice rooms, very clan and the staff is amazing. The Sheraton Lobby is a little different compared to others, but food and service is excellent. My absolut favorite place to stay whenever I have to go to meetings around the JFK area. I have stayed many many times there over the years and you truly feel welcomed here. August 22, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Amazing Staff When we checked in we were disappointed because the hotel was supposed to provide a bed and a bowl for our pet yorkie, but we didn't get them. We didn't rest well because there was a lot of noise coming into our room. In the morning we missed our complimentary continental breakfast, but the front desk staff kindly made arrangements so we could get a free breakfast at the restaurant instead. The staff at the restaurant was very accommodating, even though breakfast time was almost over. One person in particular, Martha, was extra welcoming and helpful. The experience made us forget our bad night! July 28, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Overall Comments I would first like for you to recognize an employee, Jennifer, she checked me in and went above and beyond with her professionalism and kindness, congrats on a job well done. I didn't get a chance to see the gym but was told it was redone. I ate dinner in the restaurant the bar staff was very nice, but it was very busy and they seemed very under staffed. The hotel might consider more staff on such a busy night as not to make the hotel look bad. That was really the only negative I seen. April 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by An excellent choice for JFK For an airport hotel, this Sheraton does an outstanding job in providing personalized service, good food, and convenience. We were arriving late from an overseas flight and we figured it would make sense to just stay overnight at this hotel to recoup from jet lag. It was easy to find the airport van and the driver was a hoot, even at 11:30 PM. All the staff from the front desk to the lounge were very helpful. Thanks for an outstanding job and we will definitely return here. October 3, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Awful location but great staff I just spent here the night before my flight back to Europe, and from the front desk to any other staff member I clearly got the impression everyone is strongly committed to exceeding what the small facility and the awful location seem to make possible and unavoidable. Unusually located right in front of the elevator of the top floor, the club lounge is rather small and hardly sufficient. On the contrary, the fitness center is bigger than expected and pretty well equipped. Rooms are decent and clean. To be underlined that the tremendously noisy 12 lanes of the Belt Pkwy/North Conduit Av. right outside the windows give to the expression “the city which never sleeps” a much less dreamy and evocative meaning. All in all, still fine for one night before or after you flight at JFK airport. Forget it if you want to visit NYC. July 30, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by My recent stay was unsatisfactory My recent stay at JFK Sheraton was truely disappointing. I had a meeting in Manhattan early morning and the check in staff told me there would be a shuttle bus to Federal Circle. However, they did not take me to the Federal Circle and dropped me at one of the JFK terminals and I almost missed my appointment. Second, when I had coffee in my room, the hald and half in coffee condiments were rotton. I put that in my coffee without knowing and it smelled really bad. June 22, 2012
