Rated 1 out of 5 by Do not stay here No warm water one morning, no excuses from management. Unfriendly waiters some mornings. Breakfast quality is not good. Under staffed bar in the evening. Slowest elevator in the world. January 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Stay My wife, grand daughter, and I had a great stay at your hotel. I would like to thank "ALI ' for checking me in, he did a great job. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. October 3, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 Good Choice Clean and comfortable. The kitchen needs to work on the menu October 15, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Tool care of all our needs Very friendly staff and excellent facility August 15, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Close to my Houston office Stayed for 8 nights Although this is close to our Houston office, there is nothing within a reasonable distance for restaraunts or shopping. Certainly not within walking distance. If you dont have a car this is not the place for you. The wireless is intermitant and you get dropped. Restaraunt is small and is booked for private functions leaving you to find out side eating. Did not have a TV remate or and iron in room on check in. Did get a remote, never did get an iron. Rated 2 out of 5 by Hotel did not meet expectations Traveled to this facility with a youth sports team. Booked a group rate for club floor that was to have included snacks and beverages. While one serving of snacks was provided, no drinks were served, nether non-alcoholic nor alcoholic. When the staff was asked the excuse was that is was a "family weekend". Can understand not having alcoholic beverages sitting out unattended with a large number of children around, however, no drinks at all is not acceptable. Also, we were told that when the one serving of snacks were gone, no more would be provided. Given that our room smelled of mildew and the lack amenities for our club floor experience, I would not be inclined to recommend this facility to others. May 27, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by it was very pleasant stay Everyone was friendly and real. They all seemed to foot their part well. The hotel had a very good 'feel' to it. Very comfortable, clean, relaxing, and in some way i felt like i was in a movie. The restaurant in the lobby is a mistake though. I did expect to have special food available. the club room upgrade was a great bonus! Free drinks, wine in the lounge, things to Munch on always. Eduardo was a nice man.. I bet he knows everything about that hotel. Chad was really cool and professional. I wouldn't mind living there, haha. I would if i could pay $1,000 per month for the big room on 'the 5th floor. I don't need a kitchen. Anyways, it was a good experience and wouldn't expect it from a business like area. Inside i felt like i was in Oregon. March 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Superb Custoner Service We had a bad experience on one of our stays at this hotel. I notified the GM, Brian, and not only did he correct the problem, but also made sure that our next stay was at an even higher level. He personally met us in the lobby upon our returned trip and apologized face to face. In such a digitial world, we were very moved by his gesture to rectify their error. We will be back because it is not that something went happens..but because of how they handled correcting it!! Plus, the place is beautiful and the staff is so friendly. April 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beyond any other stay My sisters and I along with our mom took our girls to Houston to shop at the American Girl Store. To our surprise, Sheraton has an American Girl Slumber Party Package. It was beyond any other stay. When we arrived there were the doll beds waiting in the rooms for the girls. They asked us when we wanted the cokes and was delivered to the room as we shopped at the store. It was the best experience for the girls as well as the moms and the granny. The hotel was clean, quiet......perfect. We might just make this an annual trip. December 30, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Room for improvement Does not fit the expectations of a Sheraton. Firstly the a/c units in the rooms are noisy (and over several stays, I've had many rooms), but the main criticism is directed to the restaurant, the 'Clay Urban Kitchen'. Whilst breakfasts are fine with the staff very engaging and helpful, in the evening there are far too few trained staff on duty, including in the kitchen. Any more than 8-10 diners and the pace of the service slows and when the room is over 50% full, it just gets worse. Staff try to do their best, but you can do better. July 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Friendly staff and amazing food All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. From the front desk staff, to the lady who delivered my room service breakfast to the restaurant staff, everyone made sure I had a comfortable stay. I'd also like to say that the restaurant (Clay Urban Kitchen) in the hotel is phenomenal! If the Sheraton ever ran out of rooms and I had to stay elsewhere on Clay Road, I would definitely make sure to go over to the Clay Urban Kitchen for dinner because they had some of the best meals. Rated 5 out of 5 by My stay on June 19-20th 2014 I would like to thank the staff and management at the Sheraton Houston West. The room was impeccable, service was more than expected. I would also like to send special thanks to Alex the shuttle driver. He is extremely professional and very informative. If you need to go some where close for diner or anything else, Alex is the man! Room were spacious, clean, comfortable and well kept. The AC works great. Pool was outstanding. Housekeeping does a wonderful job. I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family. Rated 3 out of 5 by ok First of all Chose the Hotel for the price. But once I got there I find that I had no internet unless I paid an ungodly price per day, Also no complimentary breakfast. I was not about to pay $$ for my breakfast when I could go down the street and get same exact thing for less than $. $$ for a bottle of water was also ridiculous. I had to get 4 different remotes for my TV. I also had told front desk that the shower head was broken and was spraying the ceiling. They did not fix that. The ceiling was peeling. August 4, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Manager's POOR customer service I was NOT told about a monetary hold being placed on my credit card. The room was paid in full on reservation. When I checked out, I was told there were no further charges on my room. I was told by the manager that it would take 3-5 business days to clear the hold, which is NOT acceptable. Further, the electronic keys never worked on the room door or in the elevators without trying numerous times. Also, the bathroom had very narrow French style doors and no ventilation. I won't stay at a Sheraton every again. December 1, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Room not correct When I arrived at the Hotel they had me in a room with a King bed and I reserved a room with a double bed and had my e-mail from you with that info on it. The girl tried to say they did not have a room with 2 beds. Finally I got my room and access to the Club Floor where I was suppose to be in the first place. Needless to say I was not happy. The room I was in was very nice, but on wrong floor. I would appreciate it if I could get some kind of discount for all the trouble that I went thru. July 29, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by S-L-O-W Internet Remember back in the day when we all used dial-up internet access and waited for website to load? The good old days are back again at the Sheraton West Houston! Yes, you too can have the luxury of drinking coffee, taking a nap, and other activities while you wait on the internet. Don't be a Productivity Chump. Step back into time and enjoy yesteryear hear at the Sheraton West. (TWO DAYS. ALL DAY. MULTIPLE LOCATIONS THROUGH THE HOTEL. TRIED EVERYTHING. HORRIBLE) August 26, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Terrible night service The hotel is beautiful and well-kept. The morning breakfast staff in the restaurant was wonderful and took great pride in their work. Unfortunately, it was like a 180-degree difference in the evening. We were refused dinner service at 8:38pm on a Friday night for a group of 15, saying they close early on Friday nights at 9pm- this is despite us calling in advance of our arrival. A similar situation happened the following night. Very odd since the morning staff was so great. May 29, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Sheraton did not meet the usual expectations My complaint concerns the room, when I first arrived there was a smell that made me think it was a smoker's room, but the sign indicated that it was not. It was not until the next morning while I was packing to leave did a find a used coffee filter in the trash, and it had been there more than a day or two. Since I don't drink coffee, I knew it wasn't mine. The restaurant had good food and the overall atmosphere was inviting. But overall, not the usual Sheraton standard. November 13, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by last visit Sheraton was OK but OK is not waht I expect from Sheraton. Rooms and beds were good. I had to go to the front desk 3 times to try and get my remote to work right and after 5 nights in the hotel it still was not working as it should. The staff in the resturant bar area were below average in helpfulness and service. Thye made it feel as if we were an interuption to their day. The morning staff was better tehn the evening staff but both were marginal at best. November 24, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not Recommended Majority of staff do not speak English and/or are too inexperienced to give satisfactory customer service. Restaurant and Lounge sucked. Overpriced and what you order, is what you get, so if you order a steak--that's it, no side of anything, just a steak. Pasta is made with ramen noodles. Desk clerk played Angry Birds most of the time. Shuttle drivers are creepy and drive like maniacs. Forget any kind of room service, including cleaning of your room. July 15, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Ok - not great! This hotel calls itself a category 4. We booked a club floor room - evening hors d'oeuvres consisted of bags of potato chips and cans of soda in a cooler. OK, we're flexible and went out to dinner. The front desk gave us a good recommendation. Having stayed in so many Sheratons and always enjoyed the club floor, this was such a letdown. We have another booked in Philadelphia in 2 weeks - hope its better. Just take a standard room here. April 29, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Very Average Definitely a 3 star hotel. Reception felt like an open bar, the reception desk is over to one side, I thought it was the Concierge desk. Room above average in size, nowhere to sit except at the desk - there was a chair in the corner, but not convenient to sit at. No suitcase stand. Rooms at the rear don't have noise from the freeway which is good. Biggest problem was the hallway noise - room doors are very loud & regularly woke me. March 6, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by American Girl package I have a few suggestions. Put mini fridges and/or microwaves in your rooms....these are standard hotel amenities. We were so disappointed to learn that room service is only available Sun-Thurs! We couldn't get room service on a Friday night or breakfast delivered on a Saturday morning though there was a "breakfast in bed" form in our room. The AG package was good but give the customer a choice of free soda (we don't drink Coke). December 11, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfort plus We've stayed at this particular hotel many times, both because of the proximity to my family and because it is very comfortable. We prefer the club level - on most nights, you can get a snack and a glass of wine and in the morning, a little breakfast. Even on Saturday night and Sunday morning, when the full service isn't available, you can get extra coffee and drinks and use the computer. Really a nice extra. February 17, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by The Hotel experience was below par. The people at the front desk, except for Chad, were non-responsive. There was a line because guests, including myself, were calling the front desk and no one was answering the phone. On Thursday night, my husband was greeted rudely by the person at the front desk. It was about 11:30 p.m. The only bright light was Chad. He was helpful in getting room service set up for us because we had a late flight. February 18, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by I'd recommend, but... Everything about the hotel was great with the exception of one thing. I would prefer the ability to allow a delivery person to deliver food to my hotel room without having to come to the lobby to pick it up. This, in my opinion, is very inconvenient to the guest who may be working in the room. If we wanted to get dressed to come to the lobby to pick up food, we would go ahead and go to dinner. Rated 4 out of 5 by Landscaping update I had previously brought an issue to the attention of management, and as of my most recent visit last week this issue has not yet been resolved. It's quite simple actually. Just cut the grass and clean up the sidewalk area between the hotel driveway and the new traffic crosswalk signal immediately to the east. The grass there is WAY OVERGROWN where you can no longer see the concrete sidewalk. November 4, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Unpleasant staff First I want to say that the hotel itself is very nice. The rooms are very clean equivalent to a 4 star hotel but the staff is in need of serious customer service training. We checked in almost midnight. I called a week prior requesting a roll-away bed because I had 3 children. The clerk stated it would be no problem and that she will add it to the room. When we got there another clerk stated we do not have roll-away beds and there was nothing he could do but help find me another hotel at MIDNIGHT. I insisted he accommodate us because it was so late at night. After almost 10mins of insisting miraculously he found a roll-away bed. As we proceeded to check out, the morning staff was just as bad; they don't make you feel welcoming at all. They don't even say good morning as you approach the desk and of course you can forget about a smile. Just a horrible experience with the staff. I've been treated better in a 2 star hotel.
