we stay at sheraton when we go to potawatami.we usually stay on saturdays,breakfast is included,we eat around 10.well this time we stayed on sunday,went to eat at 10,buffet was closed.this is one of the reasons we love the sheraton,free breakfast and free parking,well we didnt get our free breakfast.we were not informed that the buffet closes at 9;30.i know we will be back because everything is excellent at the sheraton,but the front desk should of told us it closes at 9;30

The first night we were forced to change rooms due to a faulty lock on the adjoining room door. We were downgraded rooms instead of upgraded. When we moved we left a charger in the room, we called housekeeping for 2 days and they never responded until we went to the front desk to ask for it. Children were allowed to mess around on the cardio equipment and when it was reported nothing was done. Families were allowed to have a pizza party in the business center which made it difficult for anyone to use. If I have a choice Ill never again choose to stay here.

We mainly stay there because it is pet friendly, and the location has a lot of areas to walk our dog. The room itself was small. We have had other rooms in the past with a sliding door to the pool area and that was much roomier. My husband went to the breakfast buffet around 9:30. Not a good idea, maybe it was too late. The bacon was shriveled and greasy, eggs dry. And it cost $11!

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The second night I got back to the hotel, my door was unlocked and cracked open due to the lock being flipped out. I went in my room and the window was also cracked open. It was 10 degrees out and snowing so the cold and snow was blowing in the room. I assumed housekeeping forgot to close the door and window after cleaning. I called the desk to let them know that this happened and was told they would leave a note. The last two days of my stay when I would turn the water on the shower, it would have a little bit of a yellow tint until I let the water run for a while.

I travel to the Brookfield area several times a month for work. I had stayed at other comprable hotels in the area but I only stay here now. Why? Because the people are great.
They greet me by name when I walk in the front door. Check in is always a breeze. Rooms are good-nothing over the top but always clean and with a comfy bed.
I usually make it to the club lounge during my stays too. The staff there makes you feel at home when travelling.
From booking to checking out, everyone is top-notch!

Over the past several years I have stayed at this hotel. Usually my stays are anywhere from four to ten nights each time. I love this hotel. I travel from Houston, Texas to visit friends and family often that live in the area.
The people are not only professional, but they are gtenuinely friendly and hospitable. This ranges from the front desk staff, to housekeeping, to the food and beverage staff, the maintenance staff, and to anyone else that's around and about. I have never had one instance where I haven't felt like anything less than family. If I ever need anything during my stay there, it's always taken care of and it's taken care of quickly.
The property itself is well taken care of and loks great. The building has been around for a while, but you really can't tell and it sits really nice within the area it occupies. The rooms are really clean and the noises are really quiet if not non-existent. I also have to say that the rooms are a great size. A lot of the newr hotels are shrinking their room size a bit. These room s are not only clean, they're spacious.
The location is great. It's right next to the interstate, a nice mall, and in a safe area that has a lot of great places to eat with easy access to the drug stores, grocery stores, gas staions, and anything else that you may need. I travel all over while I'm there (Miller Park, downtown, to museums, the lake-front, day trips to Chicago, etc.). The location is great because they are all easy to get to.
This hotel is great and I love staying there while I'm in Milwaukee or need to do something in the area. It hands-down beats anything else in the area and you won't find better people.

This was our first stay and we could not be more pleased. Very comfortable bed, nice pillows, modern furnishings, Starbucks coffee in the room. Excellent dining and a mall is located across the parking lot. Excellent all the way around.

My husband told me that this hotel had bad reviews but it was the only place available. I was very apprehensive but once we got here I was pleasantly surprised and please. The rooms are awesome, clean and comfortable and the rates are very low. Very happy!!

This property is a large meeting-oriented property on the west side of the city in a fairly nice suburban location. If you have high expectations,they will not be met; but my expectations for an older hotel were exceeded--especially by friendly customer service at the front desk and in the restaurant. The rooms are standard; the club lounge is a converted room with poor food selection -- not worth paying more for, that's for sure. If you get a competitive rate, there's nothing bad about staying here and it beats paying $20 for parking at the downtown properties.

I can't say enough good things about the Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield. As a business executive who's stayed there for over 10 years they go out of their way to make sure everyone is looked after. Very thin-walled rooms (third floor, did not seem to be the same on the first floor) where you wake up to the sound of someone doing his morning bathroom routine. At night you will enjoy the sound of other peoples tv watching or conversations.
The rooms are very cold during this time of year, and it's not even that cold outside.
The internet service is very up and down (works 30 minutes, complete stop for a while - works for a while but this time slow - complete stop etc.) which makes it hard to get any work done in your room.
The breakfast buffet is not great. Scrambled eggs is just a huge pile of eggs whisked together.
The hotel is undergoing remodeling - or at least getting new carpet - and I hope that will solve some of the issues.

I called after receiving my bill. I have been staying at this hotel every month for 2 nights for the last 5 months. For the last 2 months I have had 2 rooms, one for an employee of mine. When I received my bills this time I was charged for bottled water, which has never happened before. It is a nominal charge, but I wanted to let the hotel know I was a preferred Starwood member and that this was completely overlooked. I called the hotel and was greeted by an annoyed woman who put me on hold for over 5 minutes and then I was disconnected. There are plenty of other hotels in this area and when i come back next month, I will consider staying elsewhere.

I have stayed here for 4 years now. I love the location. Miller Park is not far, there is a huge Mall next door. The workout rooms and pool is perfect for my needs. The food is very good. The staff is very helpful and very courteous. I have been in this area for 10 years and by far the best place I have stayed at and wont stay anywhere else as long as the doors are open.

This hotel was like an old hospital converted and although the meeting space and other things in the hotel were clean, our room was seemed out of date and was not well maintained. When I mentioned to the front desk that we had bugs crawling in the room they just said Sorry and kept working on other things. I definitely will not be returning to this property.

Even though we are gold club members, this is the first hotel we were banned from using the club lounge. We were told it was only for platinum members and our key card would not work in the door lock. We were also told that the lounge was not yet open for use, but I saw food in there and a person enjoying himself in the lounge. When talking to the desk staff they did not seem very impressed that we are gold members. This was the poorest experience we've had so far since we have been starwood members.

The first full day we were at the hotel, we ordered room service for lunch (two sandwiches and a salad). We waited over 90 minutes and then when the order arrived, the salad was replaced with a wrap. We took the green option, so the final day we were there, I called guest services to have two cups, two tea bags and 4 sweeteners brought up to the room. It took them over an hour to finally bring it up and it was only after I called to complain that we received it.

Had to cancel a room wless than 24 hours because of an emergency. still charging for one night. Other hotel chains do not have this policy.
Have cancelled all futrue reservations at thsi hotel. will never stay there again unless directed by my company.

We stayed at the Sheraton Brookfield last weekend, because it was the only SPG hotel available that weekend. Upon check in, we were given a room in the Milwaukee section, which was an upgrade from our stay last year. Nicer, newer, much more well kept room. We were also given access to the club level although we were one floor down, as we are gold members. We arrived late and thought we would take the kids to the pool. The pools were extemely crowded and appeared to have some sort of junior high boys birthday party going on. There were about 15 rowdy boys eating pizza and making a complete mess in the pool area. They also made us feel uncomfortable as if we were ruining their party. I was very surprised that the hotel would allow this in a "business" hotel. We went out and returned hours later in the evening, the party was still going on, and the pool area was trashed. The next day staff had come to put out towels on the chairs and open the pool. The trash still remained all over the tables, pizza boxes and such. It was gross. We never used the pool.
In the club room there were only 2 tables and a TV with a coffee table. We attempted to eat breakfast, but two families had camped out on the tables, for an extremely long time and there was no where to sit. The breakfast display was nice, but at 8:00 most of it was gone. A very non-friendly staff member came in to restock some of the items, but only refilled cereal and water. It would have been a nice breakfast if it had been properly manned. Sending someone in at 8:40 when it closes as 9 seemed silly, as it would have been nice to be restocked sooner. Luckily I paid for this hotel in points. I hope there is a better SPG choice in Milwaukee as we go there often. I will try to make my reservations sooner.

This is a nice hotel, very close to shopping it has a great pool and a decent, affordably priced restaurant. A great option, if you want to be a little bit out of downtown. Parking is free, which is always nice. It does seem to be pretty popular with families. Many of the times I have been here you could hear children shouting or running around late at night, but security does a decent job getting them in bed.

Of all the SPG properties in Milwaukee I think this is the best one. Free parking and right off the highway. Close to the ballpark but 10-15 to downtown.
If you are traveling on business I'd recommend you stay here vs the other properties.
Decent facilities but needs to be updated.

The rooms where nice and clean overall. I enjoyed seeing the nice white linens vs. other dirty comforters at other hotels. The bar staff were pleasant, as well as the front desk during check-in.
A few items for improvement:
We tried calling down for room service (we attempted to use the preset speed-dial on the phone, as well as the number in the directory) on the first morning of our stay on and off for almost an hour and half while we were getting ready. Not once did anyone pick up. We ended up just heading out for breakfast.
As we were departing on Sunday, it took us about 20 minutes just to be able to get on the elevator. Being we were on the 6th floor, and had brought along 2 coolers, the stairs were not an option. Once we finally were able to get on the elevator, we found out what the hold up was. Apparently, the housekeeping staff also use the two elevators to move about from floor to floor. I was very surprised to see there is not a service elevator on property. Definite oversight.
Overall, our stay was nice, and we would stay again. We will just plan on going out for breakfast, and leaving the coolers in the truck, so we can take the stairs.
