EXCEPT FRONT DESK MANAGERS THE STAY WAS VERY UNCONFORTABLE. WE COULD NOT SLEEP THREE NIGHTS BECAUSE OF TREMENDOUS HOT BEDROOM DUE TO THE AIR CONDITIONING FAILED.

I have had the pleasure to stay at this property several times this year. The entire staff, from the GM on down, are all highly professional, friendly and very accomodating to my needs.
The suite I was given was beyond expectations. The Club Lounge provided excellent morning and evening choices. The property location, on a river accross from a golf course, is very attractive. The fitness center contains all the equipment one could need. Even though the hotel is located in proximity to Miami Airport, we rarely heard any plane traffic !!
In addition, the restaurant, Rickenbecker, has an excellent menu and first rate food.
I look forwaed to many more visits.

Toilet seat & tub needed fixing. Shower water pressure low. Beds are wonderful! Expected a thick juicy burger for $14 but breakfast was wonderful and Carlos made great omelets!. Misrepresented Free 24 hr. shuttle to Coral Gables and Coconut Grove. I could only go 6:30 - 9:30pm. Lounge was closed so nothing else to do. My experience on 6/21/14 - 6/23/14 was very good. When I brought other guests down on 6/29/14 - 7/1/14 they weren't as impressed.

This is my Favorite hotel in the Miami airport area. The location is more than you can ask for and the people who work at the front desk are some of the most helpful and pleasant i have had the pleasure of being served by.
There is transportation to the Dolphin mall for $5.US each way that comes by the hotel and picks you up and drops you off. You can walk across the street and catch the rail service to the Miami airport or take the shuttle.
The club lounge looks over a golf course and always has a nice buffet breakfast for members. The rooms have always been comfortable and very clean, But what makes this hotel my favorite
in the Miami airport area is the staff.
I would be remiss if i did not mention Gerry at The Front Desk, who made sure this Starwood Platinum member and his family were treated like Royalty. Gerry checked on to make us sure our stay was all we expected and more.
I will always stay at this hotel when near the airport in Miami. Great Job to everyone who worked at the hotel during our stay.
On my most recent stay we were upgraded
to a 2 floor suite. The bed and bathroom are on the top floor with easy access to the club lounge and the bottom has a half kitchen and pull out sofa with swivel stair case between the two
I will be having 8 more stays in the coming months in the Miami area and will always choose this hotel first.

Checked in on a Thursday night. Front desk acknowledged my Platinum status, but no upgrade was offered -- haven't stayed here before so don't know if upgrades are frequent/infrequent. Room (1050) was perfectly acceptable and reasonably renovated. Very little noise from airport. One drawback was an ineffective HVAC unit that never got the room cool. Room service was delivered late, but the food was reasonably well prepared.
Did not receive a wake up call despite the prior evening's request. Next discovered that the shower was broken and could not be turned on. Housekeeping clearly didn't care enough to report it. When I told the front desk, I was simply thanked for pointing it out. No offer to have it fixed, my room changed, or any help of any kind. That type of indifferent and failed service is why I will neither recommend or stay at this hotel again.

I had a 'PURE' room, which was great. The room was clean and fresh. My only complaint was in the design. There were no counters in the bathroom. It had a single pedestal sink, a toilet and a bath with a hand held shower head. I had to put everything on the floor in the bathroom. The toilet tank top was used for the bathroom amenities. Also, there were no additional electrical plugs in the room, usually the desk has some plugs, but the only unused and accessible plugs I found were in the bathroom. I had to use the bathroom plug to charge my iPhone and iPad and because my charging cord is short, I had to let the phone dangle next to the wall as there were no counters.
Again the room was clean, the bed was comfortable. It was just the setup of the bathroom.

Great localization just across the street from the rental center, the price is fair, you pay only for the room, everything else you must pay, no breakfast, no parking and no refrigerator in rooms are included, if you want them your room rate per night will be 160$ or more for a couple.
The bed is perfect, bathroom a little small, I can't believe yet.. no refrigerator in the room (is a basic 3 star feature), the best thing is the localization! Very clean room, nice view of the golf court, check out at 12pm if you ask!

Managed to have enough disappointments in a one-night stay here: paying for parking at an airport hotel seems a bitter pill to swallow. Room was ok, didn't seem like a Platinum upgrade at all. Still, was quite comfortable and a good bad. A number of facilities were unavailable, like the Club Lounge, so a very basic breakfast buffet was offered (we're talking some pop tarts, filter coffee and bagels). Gym was also closed, so not much left in terms of facilities. The tiny pool could be appealing to kids, but anyone else would want to stay as little time as possible at this property, which is exactly what I did.

I have stayed many times and this stay I had some problems with the air conditioning and a tall window curtain off the hook. Three engineers responded quickly and fixed my issues. they were very nice, thank you Ariel, Rudy and Chris

I appreciate that last night at 2330 when I called for help they send Security to quiet down the families so rounding room 448.
It was very inconsiderate from them to allow children to run between rooms when others are trying to sleep. However I wonder if accommodations in a quieter side of the property would have made a difference.

You guys have several rooms for training, but you must improve on Food, ( no cheese on breakfast).
Also the attitude from the personal on the main desk is pathetic.
the only exception is Mary smith, fantastic girl , made upselling on the food and her attitude was fantastic

Sometimes the elevators are slow. And recently, the fire alarm went off two times, inexplicably. But otherwise the Sheraton Miami Airport is my FAVORITE place to stay for a quick work trip to Miami. Despite being next to the airport, the hotel feels like a getaway overlooking a lovely municipal golf course. The food at the Rickenbacker is excellent and there is a great patio to sit outside and eat. I love the outdoor couches, the pool, the fitness center, and the second floor patio outside the meeting rooms. I highly recommend this hotel.

We were distressed Delta passengers who were accommodated at this Sheraton aiport hotel. To our surprise, it was a delightful and refreshing experience. We will seriously consider making future hotel reservations with Sheraton after the wonderful time we had at this hotel.

Check in person was not helpful and it seemed to me it pained her to help. Did not get the room I requested and she made no attempt to help. Room was dirty and on second day was not cleaned till very late in the day and still did not supply all items.

We stayed on a friday for one day before our cruise. Staff went out of their way to make everything perfect. Girl on front desk set us up beautifully. The concierge, bell boys, went out of their way to get us where we wanted to go. The breakfast we received with SPG was tops. I cant say enough good about the hotel. I dont know where these other people stayed who were unhappy, but our entire party of 7 loved it. My daughter even said she wished we were going back after the cruise as the beds and pillows were so much better than the cruise. Close to the airport and convenient for cruising.

We checked in before our cruise.Gave us a free ride from the airport. Staff was friendly and efficient. They even dropped us off at a restaurant and picked us up. Our wish was their command. Made sure we had a ride to the cruise terminal. Breakfast was excellent. Had a very positive experience.

I've stayed at this hotel now three times and the staff has exceeded my expectations each stay. First the location is great for what I need to do and there are plenty of decent restaurants nearby. Second the Club lounge is always stocked with water and drinks and I love the coffee machine, so on those occasions I just need a snack I don’t have to go anywhere or spend any money. Third, the Valet’s have my car ready by the time I get down to the lobby. Lastly, the head chef Frank and his staff do an excellent job, I will be back.
Almost forgot, I was expecting a view of the airport, instead I get a room with a view of a very nice golf course.

Let me share with everyone the kind of service we’ve received from this hotel and their staff, from the day of our arrival to the day of our departure. I have reserved two rooms in this Hotel, two weeks before our arrival to see the Miami game with the following (two connected rooms one with King Bed and the other room with two queen-sized bed for our friends children. On the day of our arrival in Miami around noon I called the hotel to let them know that we will be checking in by 4:00pm, the staff that answered the phone assured me that the two rooms we’ve reserved are ready and will be waiting for us. But then, when we got there, a lady from the registration desk told us that only one room is ready and that the second room (connected to one room) should soon be ready so she gave us the keys for only one room. After about 30 minutes I called the front desk to see if the second room is ready, another lady talked to me with a different tone on her voice and said the room will not be ready for another 30 to 45 minutes, I was very unsatisfied at that moment so I asked her why then she said there is nothing she can do the guest that was staying on that room had checked out late so their just starting to clean the room. After 20 minutes my husband came out the room and so the cleaning lady just got done cleaning it so my friend went downstairs, and a guy said that the room is not ready and it should be ready by the time we get back from the game so she went back to the room .I’ve asked my husband to come with me down the front desk to talk to a manager about the whole thing. When we asked for a manager a Supervisor offered to talk to us and she’ll try to help us she said. We told her exactly what was happening and that we are very dissatisfied of all the staff that we talked to she apologized and asked us what she could do to ease our disappointment so we asked her to find if the room is ready and that because of all the delay that we should also have a late check out. She asked us what time we want to check out and we said 6:00pm if that’s possible she said yes and she also said the room is ready but, there are no 2 queen beds in any of the rooms, but they can and will provide us a bed (a folding bed which by the way, my friends back ached so bad the next day). So that was the end of our first day, The next day on our way to eat breakfast, I went to front desk just to make sure that we are checking out at 6:00pm, what a surprise when the lady I was talking said it was not entered into the system at all, that if we had checked out at six they would charge us a full day extra. Thank God I went back to check before it was too late. So everything is set, we went out,came back around 5pm , guess what? We were locked out! Our keys were not reprogrammed to check out by 6pm so my husband went down to the front desk wanted to talk to the manager once and for all. But the lady he was talking to giving him more excuses for what happened instead of calling the manager so my husband just had enough , he just asked the keys to be reprogrammed. Overall, we had a great time in Miami except for the services that we’ve had from this hotel and made us all feel not to come and check in to any Sheraton hotel ever.

As our flight arrived from Paris, France, we needed to rest one night before having our car location and drive thru Florida on the next day. So we enjoyed the free shuttle.between the airport and the Sheraton. We appreciated much the staff who welcome us. Compared to an other luxury hotel near this place we took when coming back, we preferred the Sheraton for many reasons : - there is somebody ready to help you at all times if you wish, - there are quiet restaurants in the place, the (included) breakfast was far better and good, - and at last less taxes, no surprise in the fare when checking out. Next time we'll be in Miami, we'll choose Sheraton.

I returned to this hotel after a previous stay in January 2013. The front desk remembered me, a nice and welcome introduction to my stay. The restaurant food and service was delicious, the shrimp and steak entree was perfectly prepared. When we departed I left my jacket in the closet, and called the front desk to ask for help. Not to worry they told me, the hotel will hold it for me for pick up on my way through Miami next week. Thank you for the personal and professional service.

Sunday night, while asleep, I heard my door room open. I had the safety latch and also some stuff blocking the door. the noise wakened me and I immediately called the front desk. Was told thee was no manager on duty but spoke with a woman. She said she would check into what happened but I never received a followup. She sent me new keys and two breakfast vouchers. No further followup nor extra SPG for mental anguish and loss of privacy.

We stayed at Sheraton Miami Airport Hotel 2 days. For us was just perfect!
Very close to the airport, shuttle bus every 15 minutes from the airport to the hotel and viveversa. We booked triple room for parents and child, the room was big, beds very comfortable. The breakfast was nice and good quality.
Also it is very easy to move from the hotel to down town with the train.
I recommend this place to everyone.

The hotel has good enough facilities in general terms.
My main complain of this hotel is the lack of staff courtesy. During the breakfast I had an extremely bad experience and, therefore, I don't plan on staying in this hotel again.
First the hoster (a woman) didn't even look to me and my family. She didn't even spoke to us, only took us to the table.
After that, the coffee (black) took almost 10 minutes to be served. And it was clear that it was a lack of will from the waitress to serve us (she was 10 steps away chatting with her colleague!).
Finally, when I payed for the upgrade from "only cold breakfast area" to "full breakfast" (which by the way was never mentioned in the booking.com reservation process), the guy took the money and just turned away, never brought the change nor even asked if I wished to give the change to him as a tip. Really akward situation.

I had to have surgery and as a starwood platinum member and staying many times at the Sheraton Miami Airport Hotel decided to use that as my base for my daughter in law to be able to get to Mt Sinai be with me for test an surgery The expected time was 5 days and because of complications extended on a day by day basis extended to 9 days. It was only 10-15 minutes between hotel and hospital. Agar Geneus at the Starwood check in handled all our needs with ease and no complications a no stress situation. She has always treated me with upmost service. Victor,, Yuri,and Jay at Vin Fiz made sure she had great service and watched after her. The whole of the staff actually were fabulous and I can't say enough. Thank you all.

Our flight arrived at 1000 so our room was not ready. They held our bags and give us access to the lounge since we had a club floor room. A great place to rest after our flight. The deck called us when our room was ready. Club floor was very nice the rooms were updated and very clean. Heard no aircraft noise for being at the edge of the airport. Evening snacks and breakfast were very good. Bus station is across the street. Was able to get to Miami Beach and back very easily. I left my sunglasses in the room and did not miss them until we got on our ship. Gone for 2 weeks so it was 2 weeks before I could call the hotel to see if they had them. They did have them and the very nice lady at the hotel packed them and sent them to me. Very impressed by the staff. When I need a hotel in Miami the airport Sheraton is my first choice.
