Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Example of its Brand Set in the very urban context of Deira, this hotel nevertheless has a lovely location overlooking the Dubai Creek and more the atmosphere of a resort than a business hotel. I personally don't mind the "period" style of the Atrium Lobby - with fountain and Arabesque plasterwork ...it felt quite in line with vernacular style. The lobby level Club could be a lesson to similar facilities in other properties - smooth and welcoming at check-in, well-stocked and delicious at breakfast and Happy Hour. Beautifully and newly decorated. SPG Recognition was very good, I received a personal welcome email prior to arrival with an offer for a complimentary airport pick-up which I took advantage of and much appreciated. I was upgraded to an executive suite with an exceptionally large and comfortable bath room that included a two-person oval tub and beautiful. marble. As well as a surprise in-room amenity, I received my usual points and, delightfully, a complimentary upgrade to full breakfast in the Vivaldi Restaurant. This was exceptional with omelette station, various ethnic breakfast items and lovely outdoor terrace seating overlooking the Creek. While it is true that some aspects of the decor and some furnishings are dated, I don't feel this takes away at all from the total positive experience. March 21, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Could gave been better. Myself and family stayed for 9 nights in 2 rooms. We were let down by a very rude member of staff who spoke to my wife in a disgusting manner. My wife wrote to the mngt twice and explained clearly what has happened. But we left the hotel feeling that the complaint still hadn't been dealt with in the correct way. In the end my wife still did not get any apology from the member of staff. We believe if the GM was not on holiday it would have been dealt with accordingly. We are so disappointed with Sheraton Creek hotel and towers. We will not be coming back. August 12, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not A Hotel for SPG Platinum/Gold Members Hotel does not offer comparable benefits to any other SPG hotel that I have stayed at. Staff was rude following check-in and withholds benefits that should be available to SPG premium guests-- staff claims this is their owner's policy! Also, Club Lounge is underwhelming, Internet speed is minimal and don't expect any room upgrading because they will claim they are sold out when rooms are still available online. Taxi's are difficult to get out front as well. Would not recommend wasting time staying at this property in future. October 31, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing Creek views of the Old & New City!!! Great location of old & new Dubai. Excellent Italian Restaurant overlooking the City, personalized service from the Head Chef. Perfect weekend with friends!!! Staff were so attentive to our every Need. Complimentary drinks & food served in the Club lounge, very pleasant environment. King sized bed, very comfortable, loved the wet room shower. Highly recommend this Hotel, value for money. November 30, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Restaurant selection and friendly club lounge I spent 4 nights at hotel. The Ambassador services met my needs for my out of standard arrival and departure times. The first welcome in club lounge was friendly and supportive ( thanks Jocelyn & Mary Ann ) and continued throughout my stay. I ate in the Japanese fish restaurant - excellent, thanks Desy, At the Indian restaurant Ashani, (recently refurbished) I had a modern Indian meal as advised by chef Vishal Rane recently from the mint leaf London - not too shabby that either. The Friday brunch at Vivaldi was an epic 5 hour event with a wide ranging variety of tasty and well prepared foods on offer, make the most of it and pace yourself to sample the specialities e.g scallops and fois gras. Room was fine though no upgrade available. Complementary airport transfers worked perfectly. All in all would certainly recommend the hotel. January 12, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by improvement We checked in two in the room there was only one pair of slippers and bathrobes which we had to call and ask for more. There was no toothbrushes in the bathrooms. The refrigerator was not working and they repaired which was still not working didnt call again as it was late and the next day we left. The total experience was not good as it had been a while I had not come and I was not happy with the quality of the Room. May 27, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by This Hotel has downgraded terribly The property has deteriorated miserably in service and appearance. We found the breakfast tables in the restaurant were never cleaned from the day before and even when someone left and we were the next sitting, the tables were not even wiped. The cutlery and specially the crockery did not match. We were given red wine glasses for white wine or for anything we ordered, even for a brandy shot - the staff were rude, short tempered and had limited service atticate as well as atticate all round. The only area that is still the same and very efficient and probably makes us and many other regulars return this property is the business room and the concierge service. The duty managers never responded to any of our requests or even had the decency to return or acknowlege our calls. All is all I was very disappointed with the level of staff atticate and lack of training and good manners. March 20, 2013

Excellent staff, Merry Ann was in counter during check in, she was courteous and explain all the tho associated activities in Hotel as it was first time for me. Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome service and very nice facilities While it is one of the oldest 5 star hotels in Dubai, it is very well maintained, good location near airport and many popular areas, right on the creek. Nice pool and good gym equipment. Great buffet breakfast and service is impeccable. Great SPG recognition. If ytou have any problems durign your stay, they will go out of their way to assist you! I like the room decoration that I can enjoy looking to the creeck while showering and what I love most is the rainfoll showering and the very cold water that gives a good Recovery at the morning. Rated 1 out of 5 by Very disapointed While my stay, the aircon failed to work (in fact temperature dropped from 21° to 14° at once. Maintenance tried to fix it unsuvvessfully and I had to insist to change room. That was done after 3 hours!!! I also went for diner twice at your so called Japanes restaurant. Sea food was not fresh at all... May 8, 2014

Excellent service from reception and the night manager in arranging a room for myself. Very comfortable room, great breakfast. Room had fantastic views over the creek. Rated 3 out of 5 by Many positives and a huge negative We enjoyed the excellent location of the hotel and general ambiance of a Sheraton. The service and attention were excellent, especially the conceige who was very helpful in providing details of what we should be doing given our short stay. However, as a frequent international traveller and SPG member, I was very disappointed that a tier one hotel such as a Sheraton would not be totally honest wih me in their dealings. We had been assured that there would be taxi service available for our 4:00 a.m. departure. I had explicited said twice that I did not want the hotel's limo service which cost much more than I was willing to pay for the short ride to the airport. In spite of making my preferences clear, when we got to the curb it was the hotel service which cost us about four times the rate of a cab. At 4:00 a.m., I felt we were in mo position to refuse the tranisportation. I was formally a Gold Level SPG member, often flirting with Platium status but my loyalty to the brand wasa abandoned when I refused credit for a stay I had clearly paid almost the going rate for. This last incident does not respect for SPG. May 1, 2012

Service was fantastic from the moment we were collected from the airport until we were dropped off for return flight....staff throughout hotel were amazing. Especially poolside were nothing at all was too much trouble. Club room was definitely worth paying extra for only thing was no one explained happy hour where u have 2 hours free alcoholic drinks until evening before we left. Saying that having free breakfast and snacks and airport transfers were still great value for money.location perfect for getting out and about with metro station only 5-10 minutes walk. Will definitely be returning..thank you November 1, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Location & Maintaining Standards (mostly) Nice location and a well-maintained hotel, in facilities and service standards, although oldish like other Dubai's on-creek hotels. SPG Recognition is excellent; I was always upgraded to a creek-view room and got a bottle of wine for my elite status. A spacious welcoming terrace with a view; much enjoyed it with F&B during the less-hot evenings. But I continue to experience some draw-backs: wait at the reception to check-in, check-out or simply to get your room-card re-validated. Refurbishment work on-going in a room next to mine; although noise was controlled, the dust extended from that room’s entrance to mine; even on carpet till elevator. January 13, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Best of Dubai It was short two days, however the Great first impression and consecrate care by Mr. Jack made it a memorable one for me and for my family. Of course, we asked for the early check-in on a Friday morning. Moment I said my Brother just arrived after 15 hours non-stop flight. Mr. Jack did not looked at me again from his screen, till the mission accomplished. I know what is takes for my friends that the Front Office and Housekeeping when we ask for unthinkable.
