This is an attractive hotel in a lovely setting; quite without the insanity of hotels blocks away form major parks; and parking is free. It is two minutes from California 91 which interests with 110/Harbor Freeway or 110 N. to downtown Los Angeles, and 405/San Diego Freeway. If setting, peace and quite are attractive you then this is your hotel.

I reserved a club room this time. But my overall experience was disappointing. I am not sure what was the difference between the regular vs. club room, other than paying 60% + extra. When I first went to the room, bathroom had a bad cigarette/ smoke smell.
I am also disappointed to see that there are no refrigerators or microwave in your rooms.

The staff at the Cerritos Sheraton is friendly, attentive and makes your stay very comfortable. The location is ideal for a business traveler, it's near restaurants, shopping, entertainment and more.

The Sheraton Hotel in Cerritos made me feel welcome every time I stay there. High praises to your staff members who always makes it feel like home. Special mention to your staff Alberto and Kevin.
Gym facilities were of good quality. I had a restful stay and wonderful use of hotel facilities.

If you are seeing a performance at the Arts Center this is a perfect location. There is no Club at this property even though there are club floors. There are no minibars or refrigerators in the rooms. Nice outdoor pool and great gym area.

Overall, the stay was great. The room was very nice and the facilities are what I would expect from Sheraton. Fabulous bed, good facilities overall.
As a regular traveler, it appalls me when I consider the dirty little secret of hotels...the more you pay, the less you get. You're already paying premium for the room, and then you have to pay for things that other hotels for much less give you. Wireless? Sure, at $10 per day...what? Who does that still? No microwave to warm up my chilled beverage, no fridge for my dessert after dinner. Not surprised, but it still is one of those things where the premium price just doesn't give you premium results.
Then there's my favorite. It's been a very LONG month of travelling. My reimbursement check is waiting for me back at the office, but I'm maxed out on my card because of how much travelling I've done...so I did the unspeakable and asked if I could use cash as a deposit. I gave my $100 at check in...then when I check out it took nearly 12 minutes. Had to confirm that the room was OK, had to count towels, had to make sure I didn't do anything. Really? I'm a regular traveler who had cash...but my card was maxed from 20 days straight of traveling, flights, cars, etc. I was treated like a second class citizen. Given the choice, I'll really need to consider whether I want to continue to support Sheraton.

Very disappointing considering the location and cost that WIFI is not included in rooms. Staff was good but did not offer services I have received in what would be considered lesser hotels.

I have always been interested staying at the Sheraton Cerritos, when I used to work in the area. The hotels in the Anahiem/Disneyland area were all sold out. But luckly, The Sheraton Cerritos had rooms available. So it was a great oppurtunity to experience the hotel. Great resturants right acrros the street, movie theater as well. So a great stay for famlies as well, not just for business travelers. And being only about a 10-15 minute drive to/from Disneyland it was perfect. Freeway access is simple and easy to get to.
The room was just Lovely, super clean and had a beautiful north view of the San Gabriel mountains. Of course, the bed was just a dream, much more comfortable than we anticapated, and we didn't want to get out of the bed, before returning back to Disneyland.
I was really amazed about the quality of the hotel especially upon walking in. You hear/see the waterfalls in the lobby. The bar area is very spacious and has a great selections of wines. Didn't have a chance to eat at the resturant, but the menu looked very tasty and will defintly eat there on our next stay.
The staff was super friendly and readily available to help guests. Check in/check out was a breeze, cash deposit was refunded right away after the room was checked by housekeeping.
Overall all, even for a 1 night stay, the hotel made our Disneyland weekend more enjoyable. Thank you.

I made this reservation through SPG using my points with a room with 2 beds since we were travelling with 2 children. I called the hotel day of arrival at 8pm to confirm bedtype and notified them that we are arriving after midnight since we were driving from San Francisco. When we checked in at 1:45am, John the night manager said that we have a reservation for a King bed, I said no, we reserved a room with 2 beds and told him that I called earlier today to ensure this is in place. I showed him my confirmation indicating 2 double beds. The only thing he could say is that they are sold out and he cant do anything. Obviously they gave away my room to someone else and my family and I were inconvenienced especially arriving so late. Everyone was tired from the trip, and we had to wait for a rollaway to be sent up to the room. There were only 2 bath towels in the bathroom. My husband and I had to squeeze in a King bed with one of our kids. The thing that was most disturbing to me was there was NO empathy given by the night manager, no emotions whatsoever, and he was absolutely not sorry that this happend. He did not give a sincere apology and did not offer any solutions. He said that he would move us to a room with 2 beds the next day. Well this is just another inconvenience for us. The next day when we called the front desk to get an update on the room move, the agent did not even offer assistance to move our luggage to the new room, instead they just sent the keys up and we had to move our own luggage. This hotel does not understand what customer service is. There was no service promise whatsoever. Very dissappointed!

On check-in I never received a price; on check out I still did not receive a statement. To date I still do not have a statement.
Night Manager rude! Never had a Manager get in my face when I questioned an additional pet fee, that was not mentioned upon making the reservation.

This has by far been the best Starwood property value I have received. Along with my stay I received complimentary breakfast daily, bonus 250 points per day & daily $5 vouchers for skipping room cleaning. I would just call daily for fresh batch of towels & house keeping would bring them in matter of just few minutes. The only improvement I would like to see is more staffing during breakfast buffet as they just had 2 servers serving probably 15-20 people at one time & replenishing the buffet. I noticed servers were overworked & overwhelmed.
But overall, a great place & I felt welcomed with warm smiles & great hospitality. Thanks to all at Starwood Cerritos !!!

Front desk staff was unfriendly and did not know their job. Irritated easily. Was charged $140, even though we used points for our free stay. A lot of sighing from the staff. The receipt will not be given unless asked...which we agreed on conserving trees, but an email receipt should have been sent out. Will never stay there again. It's a shame that this is a SHERATON. Guest manager apologized and took care of the mistake, but I had to let him know that it is not ok for anyone working in this business to act and talk like they are disregarding the feelings of the guests. He refered to me as 'Dear'. What a waste of my points.

Our baseball travels to a lot of tournaments. This tourney happened to be in Hawaiian Gardens. After to late games, we went to the cafe by the bar at 9:40. They told us they were opened till 10:00 pm. The lady who took our order seemed upset that she had to help us close to closing. She told us she had had a long day and was there since 3:00. She took our order......30 to 40 minutes later,our food arrived. I took my food to my room where my family was waiting. Pizza was cold, fries and chicken strips were soggy with oil. Sorry for trying to order some food for my family. Will stay there again but will not eat inside again.

I found the hotel to be very noisy. Please understand that it's unlikely that anything can be done about it. The ventilation system in the room even when off makes noise. The water feature near the bar is beautiful but very noisy and creates a humid environment, the lobby is noisy due to its near proximity to the water feature. Like most hotels they are located near freeways which inherently are noisy. However, your hotel didn't suffer from this condition which was great. I happen to enjoy very quite environments, so I can't necessarily expect to find this from such a large busy facility...but it would be nice if it was!

I've stayed twice at this hotel in the past year, and the rooms are clean/comfortable and have modern decor. The rooms don't have the best noise insulation, but on average it doesn't make a difference as it tends to be a calm/quiet hotel. On my last stay, there were a few bumps regarding noise from an event downstairs, and an individual who provided subpar customer service. However, I have to commend the higher levels of management that got involved and immediately resolved all issues. They personally reached out to apologize and showed that they truly do value customer service and the guests that stay at this hotel.
This is one of the nicest hotels in the local area, and I would recommend it to anybody looking for a convenient and comfortable stay. No hotel is perfect, but the fact that this hotel is under management that takes responsibility for any issues, makes efforts to improve, and values customer service, pushes this hotel to a higher standard.

I spent more than 10 nights just recently, going in and out left and right in my once a year vacation. Came down with terrible Flu and Staff took a lot of initiatives and made me feel at home eventhough I was sick in the room. All senior staff were aware of me and my family, this was even more interesting when I tried to reach General Manager to thank her, the hotel was in the middle of a change and there was no GM, this indicates that people know what they had to do and they really care for the guest, wether the boss is in or not. I will definetly recommend and come back to this property when in LA, with perfect location, good humble efficient service, and great human touch!!

Staff not properly trained or aware of SPG benefits. 1) I called 2x in advance regarding use of Suite upgrades under my Platinum membership, the hotel staff acknowledged my request 2 days in advance , however upon checkin night staff refused to upgrade me to a Suite starting on the 2nd night of a 9-night stay, the reason because suite upgrade is not guaranteed 2). We're not told that 500 bonus points were given automatically, 3). They did not give us breakfast at the club level until half way through . As far as parking, you will be lucky to get parking during weekend when there are several weddings going on at the same time. One of the benefits of this hotel is complimentary parking.

We were very happy to stay at this SPG hotel for Starwood Points. We booked it for its proximity to Knott's Scary Farm (Halloween Haunt! FUN!) and were not disappointed. There were plenty of restaurants nearby for dinner, easy location right off the freeway, and the room was spacious with a fabulous bed to fall into after such a late night at the park. There was a delightful choice of foods at the breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, there was a class reunion and the place was packed, but the staff made up for the delays in service.
We would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it. Friendly staff, comfortable room, Starbucks coffee and great, clean, quiet location. Thank you!!

This hotel is located in center of many things. Good location to catch freeway for LA downtown or places in Orange County. It is very close to Disneyland, also. There is a near by shopping center and Cerritos Mall is only five minutes drive.
The hotel had very fine decor. The lobby was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and respectful. The bar and restaurant were not large but were clean and had good ambiance.
The rooms were clean and well furnished. We had double bed room. Both beds were comfortable with four large pillows and clean bedding. Room was large enough to walk around. The bathroom was clean and well lit. This Sheraton had everything one expect from Sheraton worldwide.

When we returned to our room after our first day, it had not been cleaned. Beds were made and new towels were there, but the room was dirty. No cleaning of sink, bathtum. No vacuum, etc. We complained. When we returned after our second day, the exact same experience. Complained to the manager on duty. He apologized and said he would look into it. Never heard anything back from him or any indication that anyone even cared about this. Worst experience ever at a Sheraton or any Starwood facility. Someone should be fired. I should get an apology and some sort of refund. Terrible hotel.
