Rated 5 out of 5 by Staff is second to none I travel frequently for business and although the Sheraton Guildford isn't always the optimum location for most of my Vancouver area meetings, I won't stay anywhere else. There's all the usual Sheraton upside, but its the staff here that make the difference. A+++ at every turn, whether its front desk, restaurant or bar, or housekeeping. And there were some issues with the guest who were checking in. 5 other guests including me were waited for over 5 minutes and i decided to leave for dinner and return late at night for check in again. Rated 5 out of 5 by My home away from home I visit the guildford sheraton more than any other hotel. i always get great service from check-in to the day i leave. People at the front desk, the club lounge, the cleaning service, restaurant etc... all provide friendly helpful service, The rooms are large and the beds are comfy, the gym and pool are excellent. the biggest knock i have against this property is the management downgrading the club room service. Without any warning the evening and morning services were greatly reduced and management left it up to the staff to deal with upset customers. I used to tell others that the club room at the Guildford Sheraton is the best I've experienced at a SPG property, now that definitely is not the case. September 19, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by Hotel Experience Upon our arrival which was after 4:30 p.m. we were advised our room was not cleaned as yet and our request to be near another room may not be possible. These previous reservations were made over a month ago. We had a banquet we had to clean up for by 6:15. After approx. 10 mins at the counter the Lady informed us our room was just cleaned and the other couple were a few doors down. So that worked out. We were recognized as SPG Members. The Lady was kind enough to not charge us for the parking due to the delay in room not being ready. We were somewhat disappointed in the fact the room didn't have a small fridge. We had medication that needed refrigerated buy we made do in another way. The Bed was extremely comfortable and pillows and bedding were very nice. Room was very clean but we had a very wet area on the carpet near air conditioner and end of coffee maker table. We just didn't walk on that area. All in all, we would recommend the hotel ... Rooms are comfortable and clean, and larger than most newer hotels. Staff is friendly, competent, and helpful. Housekeeping staff is particularly nice. Major downside is paid parking. June 22, 2014

My colleague and I ate (I believe it was called FRESH) just off the main lobby on March 25. The service was A-1 and our culinary experience was second to none. Steve is great at the front desk, Loula in the morning for breakfast is so sweet and Julie at night in the conceire level makes me feel like an old friend. Rated 4 out of 5 by Restaurant Shambolic Twice, we had lunch at the restaurant. Both times service was slow. The last time on a very tight time frame. We told the server, before we sat down that we had to be at a meeting at 12:40 pm. We were seated at 11:50 am. She told us that salads would be fast and our orders went in at 11:50 or so we thought. At 12:30 when our food had not arrived, she said the order went in at 12:19 pm. The food arrived 2 minutes before we had to leave. A wasted lunch. The earlier experience - the food was good but the kitchen horribly slow and shambolic. At $15 per lunch entrée, they've got to do a lot better to get food to the table. February 1, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Drains All drains need to be cleaned out on a regular basis - this is my second stay and twice requested maintenance to clean out the drains - the sink had a huge hair plug. otherwise the rooms are great as is the locale April 1, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice rooms We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the rooms were really nice and roomy. We also had some appetizers and drinks in the lounge, which were very good and reasonably priced. We did not enjoy the early morning breakfast buffet however, most of the food was cold, when we notified our waitress, she said she would let the kitchen staff know , however no one ever came out to check on it. Very disappointing for this caliber of hotel. December 19, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not Happy with Check In I arrived at the hotel around 1PM and told room not ready. Understandable. I provided my credit card and was told to come back later when room was ready. Around 3:30 I stood in a long line to get my room key. People in line ahead were getting rooms assigned so assumed I'd be getting my key. I get to the desk and told my room still isn't ready. I had to be elsewhere at 5 and need to get ready prior to. Gal at desk gave me a blank look. Around 4:30 I approached the desk again and I finally get a key. Meanwhile, the other guests who arrive AFTER I did had long ago received a room. Was also annoyed that we had 4 in our room but only 3 sets of towels. Even the next day they only gave us 3 sets and had to call for a 4th set. Also, the gal at the desk didn't ask for my license plate number, so I went back to the desk to provide that information so I wouldn't be charged for parking. Had I not stayed at this hotel last year I wouldn't have known to do this. Also, a roommate checked in, was given a key. When she went to the room with number she was given she opened the door and a man was standing in the room that she didn't know. Turns out her first name is the same as one of the people in the room she was given the number of. Might want to verify that you have the correct last name before giving room numbers. May 30, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by Team Sport Weekend 0514 We recently stay at the Sheraton for a sport tournament and found it very disappointing. The hotel amenity was nice and so was the room. However, the room was quite hot, the air conditioner was very loud and the location was very noisy. Our rate included breakfast. However we found the breakfast selection very disappointing and was only available from 7:00 to 9:00 and would not accommodate us when we had a game at 7:45. May 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Romantic Getaway Excellent hotel. The staffs were very professionals and very helpful. Nicholas at the front desk took excellent care of us during our stay, making sure everything was perfect. We were upgraded to a suite as a Platinum member and the room was spot less. Will definitely stay at this hotel whenever we are in Surrey. Thanks Nicholas June 16, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Good Hotel; not the best location While the hotel is quite nice its location leaves something to be desired. Located in Surrey it is a fairly high crime area and if you have a vehicle too large (like a 4x4 pickup) to fit in the underground parking it is quite at risk. When we stayed as a kids hockey team one of the trucks was broken into. The staff was very nice and Corrine in the restaurant was great. The food was good but maybe a bit pricey. The rooms were clean and the beds good. We would stay here again May 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by I had a pleasant stay Our Chorus stayed in this Hotel for our annual Convention. The rooms are spacious and we had no trouble with heat or cold. The staff were gracious and friendly. My roommate and I had no problems at all. Our Chorus breakfast (catered by the Hotel) was delicious! If there was one thing I would criticize, it would be the speed of the elevators; a bit stressful considering the time restraints to and from our Convention activities, and the elevators really should be faster, if the Hotel can accomodate that amount of guests.
