Stayed on May 30th and in my review i complained about the inconvenience of the LINK bus vs the Train and the quality of the food in the lounge. After a week on the road and in retrospect i upped my ratings from Average to Good, there are many, many worse places to stay and as other reviews have noted this a pretty good airport Hotel. My meal in the restaurant this stay was better than the lounge the previous week but still not the quality i would expect for the price. Yes i know Toronto is expensive but come on - an unseasoned slice of toast as a crouton? Wendy's would have a better salad. This would be my only real beef with the property - ps, did i mention the steak was dry and tough, just being honest.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Bluenoser Not Quite As Convenient or Good As Before
With the LINK Train out of service i don't know that i would spend any extra $ (we usually do) to stay @ the Gateway when many other hotels close by, including Sheraton, have complimentary shuttles. The LINK bus is a pain, especially if you have any amount of luggage or a disability.
The food this trip was below average and the prices certainly have not come down with the quality - I did take pics if mgmt would like me to send. This said, the rooms are still good and if you're flying from Terminal 3 there's nothing closer.

This hotel provided us with all of the comforts we've come to expect from Sheraton Hotels.

Con's: Rooms fornitures looked cheap.
I asked for late check out at 1,30pm but at 1pm the housekeeper started to know at my door, and also was about to enter the room, 'cause she wanted me to leave.
Breakfast staff terrible. I had to wait a lot in order to be seated even if I was the only one online and the breakfast room wasn't full
Pro's: location.
dinner waitress very nice and helpfull as the check in and check out receptionists

This hotel is in an ideal location for the airport and is quiet despite being so close to the runways. Rooms and hotel are very clean and modern. Staff are very friendly and very helpful.

It was very convenient for our attendees to be able to fly in from various cities and have the meeting at the airport. The cost savings in taxi alone made it worth the price of the rooms/meeting room.

I am a travel agent and will definately promote this hotel. Location is a definate plus, but hotel is gorgeous and the staff are great!
