After reserving 3 rooms for me and my employees I was embarrassed when I arrived and saw how dirty our rooms were. I even took some pictures of dirty floor corners in bathroom, dirty floor under the sink and dirty closet doors. I am a Starwood Hotel member for a long time but after visit in this hotel I am not sure if I will be loyal to this chain/group. I will never go back to this hotel, that is for sure.
On top of dirty rooms and distasteful food the Internet connection was constantly dropping out. I couldn't do much work in the hotel. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. I was very very disappointed.

I stayed in this hotel for one night during a trip to Philly and I must say it really disappointed me. In the first room I was assigned, the heater didn't work and the toilet clogged and overflowed immediately (no, I didn't use too much toilet paper). I went back to the concierge and asked to move to a different room, and they kindly obliged. However, the sink was clogged in the next room as well. Given that it was getting late and at least the heat worked in this room, I decided I could deal with it as I had an important meeting the next day. I ordered room-service breakfast the next day, but that arrived incorrectly as well - it was missing the sausage links that were included in the meal price. Again, I needed to leave for my meeting and didn't think it was worth complaining. Still, no guest should have to "settle" for a sub-par experience at a hotel. I wouldn't recommend this Sheraton to anyone.

there was no place to have a nice dinner with a few drinks.
had to order breakfast into my room as there was no place to have breakfast at.
heater was very noisy.
again served only asian food in resturant and had to truck across street to get pizza for dinner and after traveling 6 hours , would have like to have a relaxing dinner and a few drinks

We stayed here for two nights and the room was pretty scuzzy - one of the phones didn't work, the thermostat had broken buttons and the hallway smelled. Not something I would expect from a Sheraton and at the rate we paid. I don't think we will be back. The staff was very nice though.

As frequent visitors to Philadelphia we have been staying at this ideally located property for years. We always appreciated the outstanding (truly exceptional) front desk, concierge and housekeeping staff. Until very recently, the property had begun to show signs of wear - but - WOW - a floor by floor renovation is underway and the results are outstanding. The newly decorated rooms are gorgeous and comfortable and everything that this VERY frequent traveller could want. The already reliable in-house dining has also been upgraded! This property is a Philadelphia treasure.

The room was dirty. There was a water bottle in the bathroom trashcan. Hair in shower and around sink which did not drain properly. The bathroom had a sour smell . I took off my sneakers and walked around the room. The bottom of my black socks were grey. I pulled back the comforter and the bottom sheet looked as if someone had slept on it. There also was a pink stain on it. I say that because the top sheet was crisp and very white.. I went to Macy's and purchased sheets. I selected your hotel because my best friend is at HUP and critically ill. The only pleasant time that I had was at check in. The clerk was very personable. I WILL NEVER STAY AT NOR RECOMMEND THE SHERATON UNIV CITY.

The room was decent, but not great. Someone else's folio had been left in the room. There were marks on the wall in the bathroom. Not sure what they were, but they hadn't been cleaned.
The biggest problem I had was the utterly sub-standard yet overpriced Chinese restaurant downstairs. Avoid that place at all costs.

Please look into the shampoo tray and hair dryer. Those in my room were dirty. I guess the black color shows any dirt and smear even more. The ironing board's cover was also dirty.
