Arrived around 3pm after driving 7 hours to be told our room was not ready, they said they were at capacity the night before... waited for 1 - 1/2 hours before our room was ready and all we got was they were sorry, so much for SPG recognition :-(

Be sure ask for a room in the vicinity of the elevators. There is only one set per floor and the hallways are endless if your room is in the far hallway. The bed was great and they offer a "Green Option" (no housekeeping) - very nice to see that.

My one night stay was fine. This place is on the older side and caters to conventions, so individual travelers can get lost in the shuffle. But still a good place with fine service. Room was a little on the small side. Location was great for me.

The staff treat you like you are a young punk their to cause problems. This use to be our regular place to go, but due to their new attitude toward their customers we will never return. Hotel is very clean except black mold substance in showers.

The hotel was the Hub for all activities offering all attractions within walking distance. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The Sheraton helped create a great memory for my first visit to Denver.

I was there for a pretty large conference. My company was sponsoring the event. The banquet staff & food was excellent. The meeting coordinators were great. I was very disappointed in the lobby restaurant however. On my departure morning I dined at breakfast time by myself. I was placed in the absolute very back corner of a large open space. It was actually funny seeing all the single people sitting around the outside edge of the dining room. My waiter was inattentive. I asked for something and never received it. He finally showed up after I had finished my meal. The lady sitting next to me requested some brown sugar for her oatmeal. Not a difficult request. The waiter (same one) just looked over toward the buffet and told her he did not see any. I was mad for her and told the waiter to go ask the chef for the brown sugar. It was amazing how unhelpful he was. They call this a “service” industry??
By the way...there was not a manager stationed at the front of the restaurant (perhaps another problem) or I would have said something to him/her.

I have always expected Sheraton Hotels to be exceptional ibn service and facilities. Although, I did find your staff exceptional well trainned in customer service, your facilities lacked the luster and confort expected from a Sheraton Hotel.

Downtown Denver is beautiful and the downtown Denver Sheraton fits seamlessly into the beauty - The lobby is perfect, not overstated but elegant - The beds are heavenly - The staff and management exude competence and make the stay so pleasant

We were in Denver for 3 days. We never had to worry about staff or others around. I am always happy to be able to walk everywhere instead of having to take a taxi.
There were so many things to see & do right in there area. Would stay again!!

What a great Hotel!! Location is right in the heart of Downtown Denver, easy access to just about everything!! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean rooms with a great view of downtown. We can't wait to come back for another stay.

Overall lacking in customer sevice, front desk staff did do a good job. The restraunt and bell staff are happier talking to each other, than trying to deliver customer service. For the price their should have been higher standards in place.

We enjoyed our stay but we booked the room for 4 and it was set up for 2 as far as towels, cups, coffee. We did not enjoy the alarms going off 4 times during the evening. Made it very hard for sleeping late into the night and early morning.

They do not use fitted sheets and the sheets they do use are too small for the beds. They do not even tuck in at the bottom of the mattress. Temperature control of room is very unsatisfactory. Basically I was unable to sleep either night.

I was only at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel for one night, but it was a pleasant experience. The staff was very friendly and the hotel is centrally located with plenty of restaurant and entertainment options within walking distance.

Very nice hotel to stay at. Extremely clean and comfortable. On the corner of 16th steet mall so everything you could possibly want is right there.
So if you are looking to stay in Denver I highly recommend the Sheraton Downtown Denver!!

The front desk needs work. Desperately. Over three days and two rooms the front desk never once answered a phone call.
I am also still waiting for my folio. Seems a mountain too high to get it emailed.
Maybe somebody there reads this?

The conference facilities were very nice, they could have been larger for the specific conference I was attending. THe Suite was nice and large, very small bathroom however, too small. One person could barely turn around inside of it.

Start with the positive: our room was very clean and smelled good .
The cons: room was extremely small, barely enough room to walk around the bed, tiny bathroom. Felt we got put into the smallest room in the building across the street because we used points. Tiny closet was missing one of the sliding door, door stop was sheared off and laying inside closet with the screws, bathroom sink hot water handle lifted straight off in our hands, bathroom lighting was terrible, no fan or window, thermostat was hard to turn off, had a warning blinking wrench warning which I called about and didn't get fixed, room safe was locked upon arrival but maintenance did come right away and opened it for us, no book in room telling about amenities (TV guide , room service menu, etc) called on that and got an extremely light xeroxed copy of the room service menu sent up to us.
Drunks were yelling outside our room the 2nd night we were there at 2am. Opened our door twice to ask them to be quiet with no luck. Finally called security, don 't know if they came up. Half hour later same thing, called security again. Finally quieted down after 3:30 am
Was not happy with the way things were handled and not handled during our stay. I love Sheratons in general but this one was awful.
Felt like this stay ruined our whole trip

The hotel is very well located around the 16th street where there is plenty to do and visit.
The staff gave me an excellent service.
Unfortunately, the Hotel does not provide with airport shuttle which is a pitty when arriving late.

Had a chance to stay for 4 nights and I loved it. Very well located and comfortable with all the facilities.
The only thing I never understand is why hotels in lower ranges have internet for free and this top end hotels charge for it.

Hotel Can't find my listing and when they located my room they did not have it ready. Understand mistakes happen, but attitude and ability to make good decisions on the spot are important. I ended up changing cloths in the bathroom?

Rico - amazing energy and focus on the customer !!!! Well trained, wish I had a job for him .......

Beds were very comfortable and pool was awesome. However we stayed in a suite and the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel. Only room for 1 person barely. Also phone was covered with something sticky like pop. Yuck!

Folks on lodging side of the house did their thing as management would hope. Welcome, room cleanliness were excellent. Ice was difficult to find from 19th floor in tower. Service for breakfast was slow even in uncrowded atmosphere.

Clean and comfortable. Only two minor issues: There was no microwave in the room (for warming up leftovers), and the pool water temp could have been a little warmer (not that big a deal if there had been a spa in which to warm up).

My wife and I were upgraded to this room for being SPG Gold members. It was not what we have been accustomed to in Starwood hotels. The room looked to have been remodeled from two smaller rooms with an extremely small bathroom in the middle between a "living room" and bedroom. I have had larger bathrooms on a cruise ship. The sink was directly in front of the toilet so that you could not stand in front of it. The faucet was loose and wobbled. Very low warer pressure in the shower as well. There were two or three wet spots on the carpet from some unknown leaks. Unfortunately we were unpacked before we realized the room's oddities and we were there for just one night so we stayed put but I had never experienced such an oddball guest room especially for an "upgrade"
Hotel staff was great with a big "Thank you" to Adam who I believe was the valet captain. He saved us from being stranded by directing a cab our way and haviing them pick us up.
Hotel lobby and restaurants looked brand new and quite impressive. The guest room we were assigned to was not however.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Ambivalent Great Accommodations but needs to improve customer service
Great Accomodations, but had trouble with checking in. Room was not ready upon arrival at 4:30pm. Checked back in at 6:30pm and was told room was still not ready. Had to demand better service and was then told room was available.
