All the staff at this hotel are well trained and experienced, therefore care to guests is not intentional. Whenever I say in hotel in China atttitude of housekeepers is good measure for me to evaluate the training level of the hotel. House keepers are all friendly.

Upon check in, the friendly clerk noticed that this stay was going to elevate me to SPG Platinum and immediately extended the Platinum benefits to me. It wasn't necessary but his gesture was very much appreciated since I am a long time SPG member. Many thanks for going above and beyond.

The staff is very personal and attentative. Very welcome feeling with the smiles and personal attention. Restaurants are excellent. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The best hotel overall I have stayed in when visiting China.

I arrived the first date at late evening, 11th Nov. Monday, the wifi was functioned for 30mins & went out. I dial room services who asked me to wait for tomorrow morning. There was no wifi for the night. I left early in the morning, not sure if that worked after my departure?
I returned Wednesday, 13th evening where the wifi works very slow. It's not acceptable.

The greeting from the staff and check in were excellent. The room was clean. the restaurant breakfast was very good. The Japanese restaurant staff and food was excellent. I like the room cool but when the weather is cool outside the Chinese hotel room AC units do not seem to work very well. I would recommend the hotel to anyone who wanted to stay at a very good hotel in the area.

I was visiting Shanghai on business and chose this Starwood property for the location near to a trade show exhibit, it is not exactly central to tourist areas, but do-able with public transportation. Arriving at the end of each day was like coming to our own private island of peace and tranquility. The staff was over the top helpful and with excellent English skills. Within a pleasant walk to two primary metro stations if you want to avoid growing traffic issues and not far from both airports. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I stay at this hotel 4-5 times a year, and the staff is always very friendly and genuinely concerned about my well being. The rooms are clean, and I am always recognized as a SPG guest.

In my last stay, my gold necklace was left in the safe, I didn't realise it until the Sheraton Hong Qiao staff contacted me and told me the valueable personal belonging is found by the housekeep staff and is well taken care by the hotel. It can be returned to my friend or my next stay. In fact, I will come back in one week time, so I just thank his call and help to keep my nacklace. I will return in next week and personally thank their professionalism and great ethical staff. Please also help recognize the good behavior and reward the management and staff. Thank you very much

This is my 1st time to stay Sheraton Hongqiao, it is a wonderful stay. When I came in your hotel, my 1st impression is clean, elegant and comfortable.
I can feel the hospitality from your doormen, housekeeping and reception staff, they always keep you smile and say Hello to you. Your bed is very comfortable and big business desk is really good for my work. I can feel Sheraton group treats customers in every single details with a 'home-stay' feeling.

Convenient to Hongqiao airport.
Hotel has good service, concierge responsive and prompt.
Hotel Car Service drivers quality varies widely. The driver on our last day in Shanghai was too aggressive and made us feel unsafe in his car. For the fee that the hotel charges us for the car service, the standard of the driver was not acceptable.

This is the most unique Sheraton i've ever seen. Everything here is just too good to be true, the desgin is classic and tasteful, the staff here is quite well trained and elegant. In short, this is a very decent hotel and well maintained.

Front Desk, Concierge, Doorman, Chambermaid, Cashier, Waiteress, all super professional and friendly and well trained to make business traveller feel at home. Front desk staff, Molly very warm smile and friendly and super efficient in recognising an SPG member to book my wife and I into the preferred guest floor, First time in Shanghai and very much appreciative of all Sheraton staff for making our short trip a memorable and surprisingly pleasant stay.

I found problem about key card.
It could not open the door 2 - 3 times.
Normally when I go aboard, I can get map of city at check in counter of hotel. But I could not see at check in counter of this hotel.

Had been staying in this hotel for quite a number of times this year due the its location. But this summer I realised the air conditioning wasn't working well (room 1814). Hopefully it will get fix soon.

This is one of those hotels that puts the chain of hotels to disgrace. The staff was not ready for my check in. I chose this hotel because my flight would arrive late in Hongqiao and could rest early, instead it took me a while for the staff to find the right room for me. I was even offered a smoking room which i declined. My booking was made way before my check-in, this situation happens only to China managed hotels, not for international chains. Then i was given a suite room with 2 doors, the key can only access one side and it took me a while the next day to get someone to open it for me since i locked one and came out on the other door. The lady who came up to open the door had a very positive attitude though, i would commend her on that. Wasnt able to get her name though. I would advise those who checks in to this hotel to carry your own luggage as it will take eons for them to deliver. This is what happened to me at least until i called to follow up. Hotel is old, but what I was disappointed in was the service.

I have been a guest of Sheraton Hongqiao Shanghai for 18 years, since it was " Westin Hotel" in 1990s. The hospitality of Sheraton always releases me from home sick. Whitout any doubt, Sheraton Hongqiao Shanghai is always my top choice upon my business trip
