Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed by housekeeping I was out of my room from 8:00-5:00 pm, and no one from housekeeping visited my room. As I was leaving for the evening, I stopped by the front desk to ask why. The front desk seemed perplexed, and was a tad bit defensive (why would I make this up). I politely asked for fresh towels, water, and coffee. I returned later that evening to find coffee, semi-fresh towels (one smelled of mildew and another with stains), and no water. This was a housekeeping fail. April 7, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great stay What a good experience - with the exception of the fire alarm at 2 am Sunday morning (somebody overcooked the popcorn!) it was a great inexpensive way to stay close enough to downtown for an easy commute into Boston. I highly recemmend visiting Cheryl, Allison and Priscilla in the restaurant for a great hamburger or drink at the bar. They were all friendly and made sure all needs were taken care of, with a great attitude and attention. August 25, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Hotel needs improved attention to details 1. Your green program is flawed. You should have housekeeping empty the wastebaskets & refill the coffee supplies daily (had to call for more), even though linens are not changed; housekeeping did not leave a voucher for each day I used the green program. You need to revise the program so that some tidying up and refreshing of supplies takes place each day. 2. The printer in the business center had no ink, and you knew about it and did nothing, not even put up a sign. NOT ACCEPTABLE, especially when there's a Staples right down the street. When you printed my boarding pass, your front desk printer was half out of ink. I had to print it out at another place to make sure that the bar code was legible. 3. I was changed $12 each day for parking. There was no information that this was going to be added to the bill, even though I only used the garage one night. 4. Staff did a good job when I complained about noisy kids in the hallway the first night. I did appreciate the manager comping breakfast the next morning. However, as I was on the 2nd floor, and it was open to the lobby, the noise should have been able to have been heard down there. 5. Staff was very responsive when fire alarm went off due to overcooked popcorn in microwave. 6. I did not think that the room was cleaned very well when I checked in. Carpet needed vacuuming, and there was debris on the floor from a prior guest. 7. My key card did not work to enter the gym/pool area. If I'm a registered guest, it should automatically work there (and in all areas accessible to guests). June 29, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Everything was great except restaurant. Went for breakfast and only one waitress who was not very good, coffee had grounds in it & cream was spoiled. Asked for more but took a long time. When received breakfast order wasn't right but didn't have time to wait for a new order. Other than restaurant everything else was great. August 29, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by The Elevator We have been coming to the Sheraton Needham for many years. I do not think that there has been a time when for any stay over a few days both elevators worked. This last weekend was not exception. From our arrival to our departure, only one elevator was working, and the hotel was busy so people were walking with heavy bags up the stairs to get to their room. You have done wonders with the remodeling. Why didn't you complete the job? June 10, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Feathers, phooey When I made my reservation, I asked for no feather bedding, I'm allergic. I knew I'd be getting in late and I hoped that my room would be ready for me to sleep in when I got there. My request had showed up on my reservation. Feather pillows and comforter awaited me in my room. Then I had to wait over and hour for a staff member to run around the hotel looking for foam pillows. He could only find two. If only they had read my email. April 9, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Customer Service My sister Wanda was my room mate upon our discharge she forgot to pack a gift she purchased at the RGB conference. Upon inspection of our belongings to make sure she didn't have it, Wanda checked the room again and the gift was not there. Wanda reported what happened she got upset because she felt she was not believed, and declined to take the money offered for the missing item. Wanda did later apologize for her poor behavior . Rated 2 out of 5 by Really need to sort out the food Rooms were looked after well, but a bit dark and miserable. The "bing-bing" noise from the service elevator (near my room) was comparable to torture, going over and over again first thing in the morning as staff went about their duties. The real let down though was the food. Steaks were dry and tasteless, breakfast up on the 5th floor, (i.e. the one included in your room rate) was abysmal, there was no real choice and the breakfast room was too small and often too crowded. The staff, however, were all good, friendly and helpful, the gym and pool were nice enough and well enough equip. July 31, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Surprised I would like to say to start that the hotel had a huge issue with a water sprinkler breaking and I do not fault them for that at all. What was shocking to me is how poorly I was treated and not responded to. 1) No mention of Gold status and pushed aside at check in for a group. 2) Next morning with alarms going off getting ready for a meeting, no water and NO notice of no water. 3) Booked an extra day to enjoy pool and gym, both not operational, you have to go through the gym to get to the pool and deck and gym was what was flooded. 4) Emailed customer service and no response. I travel a lot and am mid to top ranked at 2 different hotel chains stuff happens, when it does hotels that step up earn future business and recommendations, a note left on my bed explaining what happened with no offer of any benefits or compensation, especially having to attend a meeting showerless is just wrong. Rated 1 out of 5 by Would not recommend For a hotel that just had major renovations, I was very disappointed with my stay. Over the course of the stay, both elevators were not working, the air conditioning unit did not work properly and had to be serviced twice, there were leaks in the ceiling, there was glass on the floor, and a few other items. The staff did their best to address the issues, but I would not stay there again. July 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Latest Stay I continue to love your hotel more and more each time I stay there. Our office is close by so this used to be the hotel we HAD to stay at and now it is the hotel I WANT to stay at. Your staff is amazing. Ernie is always a friendly face and ALWAYS greets me with a big smile and calls me by name. That really means a lot. You facilities are beautiful. One of my favorite places to stay. Thanks! Rated 3 out of 5 by paper thin walls while the hotel has undergone some renovations and the rooms LOOKED nice, the walls are paper thin and we could hear every single word spoken next to us or in the hall near us. i'd probably not chose to stay here again for this reason. also, they make you pay for parking but get no ticket and it's basically a scam...i could have parked there and not paid just as easily. seems very odd. Rated 3 out of 5 by Okay This hotel had very friendly staff at front desk. Room was comfortable. But, sofa blocked the air conditioner, and when I moved it there was much dirt under. When I came back to room at end of first day, still dirty....even though room had been "cleaned". Hallways were very dirty. Fitness room was nice. Location not easy to find. June 21, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent staff This was my first trip to Needham and my first stay at the Needham Sheraton. The staff was excellent and very responsive. The setting was quiet and conducive to work and sleep. I had to wait while checking in (no fault of the staff) and hence was compensated for my wait by being provided free parking. Great hotel. Rated 2 out of 5 by Quite a stay! Our stay included a fire evacuation @ 2a.m. and party/wedding music playing still at 11 p.m. NOT pleasant. Booking a room a month in advance for a wedding included a HUGE price increase. Needless to say, we are not staying here! Nice staff and clean accommodations. August 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great hotel, comfortable stay I stayed in Sheraton Needham Hotel for ten days and I loved the way I was treated! The rooms are comfortable. The hotel provides great amenities and ambience. The staff were courteous and polite. I would highly recommend Sheraton for business as well as leisure visitors. February 17, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by highly disappointed When first room had no hot water, we were moved to another room but upgrated to the SPG level. This room's hvac unit shut on and off. Then they charged us for the upgraded room instead of keeping us at the same rate for the inconvenience of moving and the lack of hot water. January 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great location Convenient to Boston and Wellesley/Natick where we were visiting. Staff was very helpful. April 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice Hotel Nice hotel, great lobby lounge area, preferred floor was nice with large rooms. Pool was a little of a let down - could use a deep cleaning. otherwise facilities were great August 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Recent Stay My daughter went to a youth medical program and they recommended this hotel. What a great stay on 6/30/13. The hotel was clean and beautiful. The staff was extra friendly. Great Services! July 1, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great as always This was my mother's first stay at your hotel, she can't stop saying how comfortable her bed was and that everything was so beautiful. August 2, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Most enjoyable stay We enjoyed 2 glorious nights because of the comfortable bed and beautiful linens. Will definitely return and recommend to others August 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great rooms! This hotel has the most comfortable bed I have even seen in a hotel! July 1, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Restaurant Staff/Wake up Call Bar/REstaurant staff was really slow Wake up call failed February 22, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by parking parking system is broken, inconvenient and overpriced August 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Recent stay We recently stayed at the hotel during the very busy marathon weekend. The staff was very friendly and all of our questions were addressed. They even moved the floor that we were assigned to since one of my traveling companions did not like to use elevators. Even though the courtesy shuttle does not run on weekends a staff member was going to be using the shuttle for hotel business and instead of calling a cab to get us to the T stop they shuttled us there for free. The hotel was very clean. I stayed at your hotel for the same weekend last year and I have to say that the service was much improved this year. I would definitely recommend your hotel. April 17, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Would not stay again Had trouble checking in- they did not see my reservation was for handicapped even though I triple checked that and had also called to verify earlier in the day. Took forever to check in. Parking was downhill in a garage that was very inconvenient. The elevator was hard to call and broke down completely the morning we left and we were on rhe 4 th floor even though I had requested a low floor. The room was very noisy and my husband was up half the night with music and laughter keeping him up. The shower nozzle fell on my foot and the robe hook on the door fell off as well. On a good note the bed was lovely and the down blanket and bedding were to die for. July 22, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by very unhappy, feel disrespected, started from the moment i got to the hotel, having to wait in line for 30 min because there was only one lady checking people in and she didnt seem to know what she was doing.. ( not enough people to help costumers at the start ), after they didnt know what to do with the parking lot as i couldnt park my truck in the garage because the truck was too tall and wouldnt fit on the garage, the lady didnt know if she should charge me for parking or not, guess what happened? i have been charged twice now,... got there at 3pm saturday, left 10 am sunday and was charged for 2 nights of parking, then we go to have breakfast, i tried to use a gift card that was given to me by the hotel ( $ 5.00 ) the people from the breakfast area didnt seem to know how to do it, i asked the manager if i could use my gift card because i was about to leave to go home and would lose the 5.00 dollar gift card he said NO PROBLEM, guess what happened? been charged twice again... two parking fees in one day, two breakfast charges in one day... the worst comes now..i have called the hotel many times, spoken to 3 diferent people THEY DONT CARE, they say they cant do anything, dont know how it happened, get transfered to the billing dept every time, get a voicemail from a man that is apparently in charge of that but been 3 days not a phone call back...one thing i have to say was my 1st time at a sheraton hotel and will be the last...will never go back again and every time i hear about a friend going he will know about what happened to me.. Rated 2 out of 5 by Could Improve For the 2nd year in a row, there was a day and a half of no television service. That's difficult when we're trying to get athletes to just relax and wind down. We were there with a sports' team that did not have breakfast included but it appeared that just about everyone else in the hotel had a key to the 5th floor "lounge". Why not be like the other chains and just offer free breakfast to everyone? For an early game, our only option was a very over-priced room service for $30. July 28, 2014
