I have been staying at this hotel consistently for the past 10 weeks. There was a change of staff/management 2 weeks ago and the stays have been quite poor.
The staff has been quite uncooperative and unresponsive and standard practices are not followed. Make a green choice requests were routinely forgotten. Staff at the front desk was not very accommodating during check-in. I will give them one more chance before moving to another chain within SPG.

The fan in the bathroom was very noisy and has to be on when the bathroom light is on. It would be nice if either a quieter fan could be installed or if the switches could be separate so that if you don't need the fan you could just use the light. (e.g.. for putting makeup on.) Everything else was wonderful though--the food was great, business area and computers were nice and room was good. The pool and fitness center were excellent also.

I've stayed in this property many times in the past couple of years and I do realize it is an older property, however it is time to update and renovate! The bath tub was so blackish-gray I didn't want to step into it to take my shower. My bath towels were not good at all. All of my towel sets were badly stained from previous use and all were a dingy gray. When I turned on the light in the bathroom it made a loud humming noise. Overall the hotel just needs a major renovation. I saw the sign in the lobby for renovation and it can't happen fast enough for me.

The hotel was not ready for the dance convention that attended this past weekend. Parking was very limited when we arrived. The rooms were some of the smallest I have stayed in. There was barely enough room to move between the bed and the dresser.
The restaurant almost not in existence. They served only a buffet brisket on Saturday. Saturday evening the only thing you could order from was the kid's menu.
The public bathrooms were the worst I have seen. The trash was overflowing all over the floor. I told the front desk and the reply was "I know about it!" They ran out of toilet paper on Sunday and tissues were placed in some of the stalls.
They have 3 main elevators that are supposed to accommodate all dancers and families. No stairs were even available. The stairs only went to the second floor and you have to go outside to get back in. There is an alarm on them telling you not to exit.
Sheraton needs to ask more about the type of conventions that are booking before they say they can accommodate a dance convention.

It took 45 minutes to pick us up from the airport. The one gentleman at the desk gave us breakfast vouchers for the next day for our Platinum status. The restaurant was CLOSED the next morning. No staff or food in the Club Room... Complete waste of space and offering. So bad that I canceled my reservation on our return on 1/6. Never will stay there again.

I have worked and stayed in hotels in almost 30 countries. I must say, that my room and the little details, like complimentary water, lighting, workspace, and all the amenities in the bathroom as well as the caliber of the bedding put this hotel in at least my top five nicest stays ever. I never turned on the huge flat panel TV though it was inviting. The parking lot was full to overflowing.

Have stayed here before and always forget that it's not my SPG hotel of choice at DFW. The service here is really lacking with one notable exception--the lady who works the Club Lounge for breakfast who goes above and beyond the call. Front Desk couldn't care less and on a Monday Night--no ESPN working in the room--they told me to come down to the bar to watch football--what a bummer.

Do not assume that "sweet-sleeper bed" means a larger room with a sleeper sofa! I paid more to get that and it only means a special bed! I stayed at this hotel 1 year ago and the experience this time has gone down hill! Starting with the lack of help and then rude bell hop. The room did not have enough towels and I could never reach the front desk on the phone - I finally just went down to order some. Only one of the 2 phones even worked - if it was working and the front desk just never answered (who knows). Then breakfast (i went down about 8 AM)which was only for the 2 adults in room (not the children) - I was told there were no clean tables so just sit at this large table for 20 at one end. Unfortunately that was for a group that was already there, luckily an a friend had gotten there earlier and had a table so I could join them. I was later told the bus person didn't come in due to personal emergency.

very bad neglectful service from taxies and shuttle drivers, the rooms stink, now waters in the room and internet was charged even though I am platinum status.

This hotel should be better than it is. There is clearly a staffing issue and the morale of the associates is overflowing to the customers. My experience with SPG properties has typically been good, but unless this hotel gets a fix in place, it will likely receive these types of reviews in the future.

The hotel was clean. Friendly staff that tried to accommodate all your needs. Food portions in the dinning facilities were plentiful.
Great hotel would highly recommend if you are in Dallas for business or pleasure. They have shuttle that will pick you up and take you to the airport. There are also local shuttle services the hotel provide.

Everyone at the Sheraton DFW made me feel like I was the most important guest in the hotel. Their courtesy, professionalism and true hospitality are a shining example of "this is how real customer service works." My requests were met happily by every staffer I encountered. Particular thanks to Aneela (sp?) and Gabriel at the front desk.

Anytime by bed sheets become untucked while I'm trying to sleep, my ability to rest soundly is disturbed. The was the case with my last visit.
The absolute very least that I expect is that my sheets will stay on the bed while I sleep and I don't have to get up in the middle of the night to try and fix the problem.

Title explains it. Poor night sleep from the TV to the left and the couple to the right. Up early to catch my flight and had to take a bath since the shower didn't work. I hate baths, they're for babies and women. No amount of compensation would make this right.
Epic Fail. Demolish the building.

I'm staying here three nights a week until February because of a work assignment, and I couldn't ask for a better hotel. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Mariela at the front desk was wonderful in helping me scan some documents for work. I'm very happy to come back next week!

Our stay was basically without incident, our room service meal however, was not the best. My toasted croissant, tasted like fish and my daughter's eggs were cold. Not a huge deal, but something you might want to be aware of. I am sure the croissant was because of the griddle they toasted it on.

Hotel security exceeded my expectations.
By limiting an individual's access to his/her floor was excellent control feature that I never experienced before. Service was performed with smile by food service staff. Did not have time to utilize pool, spa or fitness center, therefore no comment.

We stayed at the Sheraton for a conference. The rooms were excellent, the customer service was excellent, the food in the restaurant was by far the best feature. Everything was so fresh and healthy. The only suggestion I would make is to get a few more computers for business travelers.

even though i am a starwood employee you treated me like i was a vip. everybody from the front desk staff to the roomservice delivery was extremlly professional. I DEFINATLY WOULD RECOMEND YOUR HOTEL TO MY FAMILY AND GUESTS.PLEASE BE VERY PROUD OF YOUR STAFF THEY DID A TREMENDOUS JOB.

As the assistant GM put it a "special group" was there the same time we were there. This group had unruly disrespectful kids called Rethinking Everything. I was asked if I wanted to get shot in the eye with a toy on one occasion, then another I was bombarded by 3 kids the elevator asking for change and was told my watch looks expensive if they could have it. I went to the front desk and was only told sorry they are a special group. Really?? So, I guess the non special people that paid their money to stay there meant NOTHING. Is the Sheraton that hard up for sales and money to allow any group to come in and take OVER their facility. Did I mention the flip flops, hand written Posters and blankets all over the floors in the LOBBY. The only peace was in our room. We didn't attempt to go to the restaurants or pools. These wild kids should have been separate from other guest and not allowed to move around the hotel unsupervised. Or the staff should have warned the other guest. We will NEVER stay at the Sheraton DFW Airport.

hotel was extremely under staff, was not fair to the staff to take all the complaints. Room had ongoing plumping problems, staff let us shower in another room that was empty.

I will not hold an event here again until I know that they could control the temperature of the meeting space, quickly restock buffets so guest don't have to go without or wait 30 minutes, and provide better overall service.

a noisy hotel near the highway with an even noisier club lounge. the club lounge is small and has a blaring TV that you cannot escape. food at the lounge is not up to standards for this brand. the lounge is in the open so some of the rooms are right off the lounge.

I came in at the last minute. The staff worked with me and gave me group discounted rate even though I missed the reservation deadline.
Every time I needed something the staff responded quickly and with a great attitude.
The hotel was clean.
My room was nice .

I travel alot and use various hotel workout rooms. However the Exercise room at the Sheraton was the BEST I have ever experienced! It made me want to go back again in the same day to try out all of the equiptment. THis was a Major Plus for me!!

Room had no hot water in the AM
Room electrical outlets......no enough and when pluged in, plug would not stay in. Had to rotate my devices in order to re charge them all.........'

From check in to check out and all things in-between, my experience was great. Restaurant staff was wonderful and helpful. Very clean property. I plan on being in texas again in the month of july and would not think to stay anywhere else.

I am a returning client and every time I come through DFW I stay at this hotel. Very satisfied with the accommodations and location. My stay usually is combined with an European trip as I misconnect with a direct flight home.

The Club lounge floor had all the amenities that a business traveler like me appreciates. Water, sodas and fruit were always available and greatly appreciated. This hotel is a well-kept secret in the are.
