Rated 3 out of 5 by Hotel was ok...room cleanliness not so much The hotels main area was very nice and the staff very pleasant. We were given the next to the elevator on the 2nd floor. I could hear it going up and down all night but thats to be expected. The room cleanliness was satisfactory with the exception of the AC unit. I have no idea how long that unit has been there but I do not think it has been cleaned since it was installed many years ago. I was afraid to turn it on and have it blow mold, dust etc into the room. I should have reported it to the desk but we were busy with a wedding and I didn't want to take the time. I apologize for not doing so. Anyway please have someone clean this unit soon. October 24, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by As always, great! New rooms are excellent, gym has top notch equipment, pool is good size, and staff is excellent. SPG Gold lounge has good breakfast and snacks. Great overall June 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome!!! Wow! My daughter was married at a facility close by and many of our guests booked rooms at the Sheraton Great Valley. From the moment we started working with the group planner Noreen we were impressed. She brings a level of caring that goes well beyond her responsibilities. Noreen was attentive to every request that we had and even some that she thought of for us. Noreen went out of her way to go beyond just doing her job to insure that our stay was perfect. There were some glitches but Noreen smoothed them out so that we were barely aware of them. But that was only the beginning. The rest of the sales staff and Noreens manager Kim all went out of their way to assist us when Noreen was not available. Scott & Pete and the catering staff went out of their way to assist us. The front desk people were terrific! Always greeting us and our guests with a big smile and going out of their way to assist us in any way they could. Then there was Michael who saved the day as we were overbooked on our transportation to the wedding. Our private charter bus arrived from the Sheraton to the wedding facility and we were told that there were 10 people stranded back at the hotel 25 minutes away. OMG! I alerted my daughter the bride, and the facility, that the ceremony would be delayed until our bus could make a 50 minute round trip and pick-up the stranded guests. Then I called the Sheraton only to find out that when Michael at the front desk became aware of our situation, he quickly arranged for additional transportation for our overflow guests and they were already on their way. The wedding started on-time thank to Michael's quick thinking and extra effort. Then there was Karen the weekend manager. I think she works 24/7. Saw her there all the time. Karen was so helpful when we returned from the wedding with many boxes of alcohol, decorations and food. She quickly assisted us in getting the refrigerated items into their walk-in and the many boxes into storage. Karen was also very helpful the next morning on check-out. She was everywhere catering to our every need. Overall the entire staff went above and beyond and totally exceeded our expectations at every opportunity. Awesome experience! October 9, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Needs Improvement The front desk staff are very friendly and provided resolution to my issues. I checked in to my room to find three pieces of pizza lying on the floor by the sofa with a few pieces of rubbish. I was offered another room. The rooms are okay; however, smaller than what I am used to. The bathrooms are small/crowded. Service in the restaurant was poor. Perhaps it was the time of day that I had breakfast. Service in the bar is poor as well. I asked for assistance with connecting my laptop to WiFi. The bartender told me that I would need to contact the front desk. I had to order my drink at the bar, as the bartender did not wait on me. October 1, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by HOTEL SMELLS LIKE MOLD WATCH OUT - SHERATON GREAT VALLEY The hotel was old and not updated as I would expect in a Sheraton. My room smelled STRONGLY of mold. The ceiling was a dropped ceiling that was clearly water stained. I changed my room and the new room was not any better. The bathroom was the strangest layout. I had to step out to get into the tub, the bathroom had a drop ceiling so the top of my head touched the ceiling. The shower head was awkwardly low making showering a diifficult experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, but they were the only bright spot of this stay. I would NOT stay in that Sheraton again and would likely avoid Sheraton hotels in the future. July 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding Service The staff here is always great - helpful, courteous... But this past stay exceeded all expectations. I had a late start in planning my trip and by the time I went to book my stay the Sheraton was full. I ended up booking a room in a competing hotel in the area. A few days before the start of my trip I decided to give the Sheraton another shot hoping that there had been an available room. I was fortunate to reach Eric, he took some time, worked some magic and was able to get me in. By itself maybe not extraordinary...However, two days into my trip may colleague arrived, he too tried to get into the Sheraton but was unable and booked elsewhere. After letting me know he was hoping to stay at the Sheraton I made a call to Eric...he did it again! May 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by A Good Hotel Stayed three (3) nights in hotel for the 2nd straight year over Memorial Weekend as part of the FCDelco Soccer Tournament. Staff is extremely responsive to all needs. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool and hotel is very close to the highway. Rate this hotel a 4.5 out of 5 stars. May 27, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by n/a I supposed to stay in downtown Sheraton.to attend the workshop organized by Summit-Mac Insurance (Captive) on 5/14 and 5/15/14. I was given a room at sheraton about 30 miles away from down town Philadelphia. As a result i have to spend additional $$$ and had to start 6 am from that location. I never had this kind of experience in my 20 years business travel. May 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Feels like Home..... The staff, the service, the pillows, yes they all make me feel like I am at home. I work crazy hours and to be able to come back to the hotel and beable to sleep in a very comfortable bed and lay your head in the softest pillows, it just makes sleep better. Thanks for such a nice hotel! May 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by It's the little things This is the only Sheraton where every room on the club floor consistently has every bathroom amenity supplied (great job housekeeping). Is it raining during your stay? Grab an umbrella right by the front entrance. The infused water and treats await guests in the lobby at all hours. It is the little things that you'd expect at a historic city hotel or sprawling luxury resort that always impresses me with Sheraton Great Valley! May 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by club lounge is great I have stayed at this hotel several times, it is convenient and staff is very nice. I was upset when my favorite employee, Kelly Ryan left to open the new King of Prussia location but good for her. Anyway, the club lounge staff particulary Jackie are great. She was a nice person, young, happy and very nice to talk to. She should be applauded for her work. The overall hotel is a bit disappointing in terms of the room. I was in 544 on the corner where you can hear the traffic from 202 and the bathroom was small and particularly the shower was low and small. It may have been a handicapped room. I am a platinum member and would have expected to be upgraded to a better room so that was disappointing to me. March 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Like Coming Home This is the third time I have stayed at Sheraton Great Valley Hotel and I LOVE it! The moment you walk in, you feel welcome... by the staff and the inviting decor. It's a "home-like" feel instead of that of a sterile hotel. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the beds are WONDERFUL! I can't say enough about the staff...they're fantastic and go out of their way to make you happy and comfortable. Many staff members have been at the hotel for years. I think that says something about the hotel and its management. Each year we come to the hotel, it's more like coming home. I LOVE THIS PLACE! Rated 5 out of 5 by rooms have had a face lift i have been visiting this hotel for the last 5 years. i have always been treated like family. the rooms have been updated with new furniture , window dressings and a mini frig in the room i was in. i have always loved the comfort of the beds and pillows. the staff has a more professional image than in the past and i can see they take pride in what they do. you will love visiting with Jimmy at the bar..he remembers everyone and Tony is great when you need help with your luggage. the front desk team are always welcoming with smiles, thank you, Eric, Joe, Shon, Natalia and Asia. Rated 3 out of 5 by A once great hotel This hotel is a little run-down. You can see it was once a very fine hotel that is just suffering from neglect. It's not a dump, but you can see things are getting a little shabby. The air conditioning unit in my room made a loud "brrrrt!" noise every five minutes. The weather was pleasant so I just turned it off. I can't imagine getting a decent night's sleep with that noise in colder or warmer months. Breakfast buffet was not spartan but at $15.95 you can do better just about anywhere else. Fresh fruit was a little spare, No wheat bread for toast. Service was very prompt and friendly. Overall, a good place for a breakfast meeting. There is an Outback Steakhouse nextdoor, so you can get something to eat without driving anywhere (I generally don't eat at hotels). There are a lot of other restaurants, shopping within a 3-4 mile drive. You could do a lot worse, but this hotel falls short of the standard SPG has set at other similar properties. May 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for Business and Personal Stays I've stays at this hotel every other week for the past 5 months...staff is excellent, White Horse Tavern is good, and rooms are newly renovated. Even brought my family to stay one weekend and enjoy the pool and surrounding Great Valley area. Overall great! May 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Service!!! I stayed at the hotel on a Saturday and booked two rooms online through Expedia. One room I requested was for my handicapped aunt, but they did not have it noted in the reservation. The young lady at the front desk was very professional and accommodating! I had no trouble getting the room and having her clothes to me and my husband. Also, we left several pieces of clothing in the closet. When I realized it four days later, I called the hotel. They had the clothes and sent them to me. I received them the next day via Fedex (at my expense). Kudos the housekeeping! June 15, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Newly Renovated Room I asked to be placed in a newly renovated room (I was aware from a prior stay that the hotel had begun renovations). While the look was improved, I was not impressed with three things: (1) the bed, which I assume was new, was not as firm as was the case during my previous stay; (2) the vanity in the bathroom dwarfs the space and is very limiting, (3) the location of the toilet paper holders is actually comical from the point of accessing them. Rated 5 out of 5 by Grace in the face of danger I stay at this hotel regularly but was particularly impressed during my most recent stay - during the height of hurricane Sandy. The hotel staff were obviously there for the long haul, making sure that guests were taken care of and felt welcomed. During a brief loss of power staff handed out flashlights. Although I am a "regular" at this hotel, my esteem for the staff's professionalism, preparedness, politeness and dedication to the comfort and security of their guests rose to an even higher level. Thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly to help us out. November 5, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Sheraton Great Valley Fab! I have come to this hotel many times as it is local to QVC. The staff at this hotel is absolutely amazing! They take the time to make your experience pleasant. They go above and beyond to help you. From the great shuttle service to the outstanding Manager and staff. If you need something all you need to do is ask, and they will always make things great. I am here a quite a bit for work, and they always make it great experience. You can tell when people love their jobs, and they do. Thank you for always providing excellent customer service. XOXO Marisa November 11, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by this hotel was a pleasant surprise we decided to stay at this location after visiting Longwood Gardens, not familiar with the area, this location came up in an spg search. upon arrival we were upgraded as members and we were very surprised, this has never happened before. this hotel is a hidden treasure, there are many local area attractions we hope to be back to visit and will definitely book this location again. Rated 2 out of 5 by convenient location -needs make over Front desk staff was welcoming & efficient. Convenient to activities that we were participating in over the weekend including a Bar Mitzvah at the hotel. Lighting in room was dim, right hand closet door jammed & would not open, carpet needed upgrade, stained ceiling tile over tub, dirty exhaust fan in bathroom, carpet on balcony was gross & finally a jet like sound to air conditioner. I realize this property is being renovated but things need to be attended to now. Would consider staying again in hopes that reno will be complete in the near future. June 10, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Location - Awesome Friendly Staff I have stayed at the Sheraton Great Valley for the past 5 years. They are like my second family. This past week I celebrated a big birthday and it did not go un-noticed by the staff. I received lots of birthday wishes and a yummy cake. I was so touched. Also - my compliments to the entire staff and Chefs at the Sheraton. Awesome customer service and delicious food. thanks everyone! See you soon! April 16, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel is reasonably priced and well kept! Staff extremely helpful. We stayed 2 nights for a wedding and enjoyed the stay. Clean, well kept premises. Staff helpful. May 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by My wonderful stay I checked into my room rather late in the evening and a wonderful young man named Michael was working at the front desk. He made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in the doors. Thats the type of person every hotel needs when you arrive. I got into my room and it was very nice and cozy. Woke up the next morning and enjoyed breakfast in the club lounge. The attendant was very kind and generous and made sure I had everything i needed. Over all just a great experience. Staff and facilities definitely met my expectations and then some. July 15, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by need to work on the menu I stay here quite often and tend to get back late so I eat at the bar or order room service. Unfortunately I continue to be disappointed. This last trip hit an all time low.... I ordered a flat bread pizza with RED peppers and sausage and some French onion soup. When it arrived I found a pizza with green peppers and breakfast sausage! To top it off the French onion soup was cold. By far not the first time I have had a bad meal. For a top hotel chain I would expet much better. March 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent staff, good location, updated rooms I've been staying at this particular hotel regularly over the last 6 months. Staff is attentive, rooms have been updated, and beds are comfy. Happy to recommend. April 26, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by My stay Great, Great Customer Experience! The whole staff treated me with respect and exceeded expectations! I would recommend this place with out hesitation. Super Clean and comfy rooms. The hotel is off the highway and convenient and close to the mall. I especially like to THANK George and Lorraine. George - thanks buddy for your services in the evening at V.I.P lounge! Lorraine- it was a pleasure seeing you in the mornings for breakfast and providing me a bottle of water and snacks. Thank you very much! You are all appreciated! May 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Overall, a Good Experience The hotel and its staff were excellent. My only concern had to do with a large family that stayed down the hallway from us on the club-level floor. Their small kids were running down the hall and screeching at 12:30 am, waking us. And the next morning, the entire family virtually took over the club lounge at breakfast time, making it impossible for us to eat breakfast there and causing us to instead eat breakfast in the hotel restaurant. I have stayed at your hotel many times, and this is the first time I had this problem. December 26, 2012
