Rated 3 out of 5 by Not up to par! I stay with Spg when ever we can. 4 of our last five Disney trip at this hotel, but this time I was very disappointed. What happened? My room smelled like the a/c had leaked in the floor for weeks and the curtains were barely hanging on the rod. I had to ask the attendant to spray air freshener in the room just to stay. I corrected the curtains myself. The room my mother arrived for for her 60th birthday was missing the fridge. Staff did great replacing it with one but it did not work. Maybe the worst part was the repeated 2am and 4 am wake up calls every night. On the third night I went down to the front desk at 4am to ask why, the gentleman had a great response but the follow up from his manager as promised was nonexistent. I stay with this hotel for the level of service and comfortable accommodations I receive. I do not feel this met my expectations from previous stays. December 17, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by This hotel needs some improvement to give their guest the wow effect. cleanliness of the room could be better, there were areas with dust, bathroom had pink areas of mold/cleanliness, the room felt like any other hotel outside of the resort but just cost more feeling, the fireworks view was nice, wish there was more seating area and eating area that was comfortable. water bottle was not provide on one day. wish we had the wow factor, but not much. Rated 5 out of 5 by Exceptional Stay My husband and I stayed at your facility for one night with our nephews as we stopped through Orlando coming from Miami to Atlanta. We stayed in Orlando the week prior and wished we would have chosen your hotel then. The room was very clean and the perfect size for all. We booked the room with a view of the fireworks at Epcot and it was PERFECT! We really enjoyed our stay and wished we would have stayed longer. February 27, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice hotel but housekeeping needs to step it up My wife and I took our three children to Disney for a long weekend. We enjoyed our stay at The Dolphin, but were disappointed when we returned to our room Saturday night after a long day at the parks and found that housekeeping had not been there to restock our towels, empty the trash and make the beds. We called the desk and someone was there within 15 minutes to take care of the problem. Overall nice stay. February 18, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great location, tired hotel The Dolphin has seen better times, and I've had better stays there. I paid extra for a larger room because the regular rooms are so small. Although we were not right next to the elevator, the noise of the high-speed elevator wooshing up and coming to a loud stop was constant throughout the day. And night. Ick. Amenities were average, restaurants average. The whole experience was average, but at a high price. October 28, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Staff support The staff was friendly and helpful, except when we went to Guest Services to get more information about the Seasonal Disney pass. We wanted to upgrade our pass and the person at the desk was not very courteous and told us we need to upgrade the pass today and that she couldn't do it. We found out after we left that we actually have 14 days to upgrade and that the concierge could have done this for us. September 30, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Rooms were average, I am very partial to Starwood and their line of hotels. However, I thought our rooms were average at best. We stayed in an Excecutive Suite and it didn't have an utensils for food. We had the two rooms connecting the suite and it was alot of room but nothing special. I had to request that my room be vacuumed. Something that should be standard when cleaning the room for the day. Disappointed with the rooms. March 18, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Swan, Disney WOrld Stayed here for a business meeting. I thought the hotel was very humid inside and had a very poor airconditioning unit to take the humidity out of the air. I also thought the food was not very good. This was a professional conference. February 3, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Miscommunication I felt that my communication with reservations was not clear. I also had an issue that no one came to clean up my room by 5:45pm and when I called the front desk they questioned me as to whether or not I had a do not disturb sign on my door. That bothered me since I never hang it on my door and if I had hung the sign, why would I be calling the front desk to find out why my room wasn't cleaned! October 23, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not up to usual standards We have stayed at the Dolphin on multiple occasions and find that it offers great value and is ideally located with excellent transportation access to the parks. Unfortunately, our latest experience was a real disappointment. The rooms were not in good repair; mine had a non-working telephone, and mini-refrigerator that didn't work other than to buzz loudly at times making sleep impossible, and a bathtub that didn't drain. We eventually got these problems fixed but we shouldn't have experienced them in the first place. The wireless internet service didn't work, although multiple calls including lengthy hold times resulted in another service we could utilize by the last day of our 5 day stay. We also never received maid service one day despite being in the parks until after 7 p.m. Overall the experience was disppointing, so I will be looking for another hotel for future WDW stays. Rated 2 out of 5 by Location was great Our room was not clean and smelled. The shower wall had mold. We had to unplug the lamp because it was broken . When we did we found inches of dust and dirt. I don't think the beds were heavenly. We had plywood under both mattresses because they were old. The best part was location. January 24, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Good hotel but needs re-vamping Great location, excellent customer service, beautiful interior and exterior, lots of perks for the Disney Parks. Needs to upgrade their check-out process - even cheap hotels allow check-out via the in-room TV. The restaurant Picabu is way below par for what I would expect of a restaurant in a 5-star resort. The service there was horrible (wait staff was rude, not friendly) and beware the additional fees. April 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Always a delight My spouse and I prefer to stay ONLY at the WDW Swan and Dolphin when vacationing at Disney. The staff are superb being friendly and accommodating. I loved the "Green Choice" option. There was a miscommunication with the staff regarding the actual cleaning day, but it was quickly remedied by the Concierge. The restaurant staff nicely enhance one's dining experience. Each time we return it feels like home. December 2, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding Resort My wife and I stayed at the Dolphin. What an experience. I was here on business for the first 4 days of our 1 week stay, and we both were so impressed with the staff at the desk to the cleaning people. Always very friendly, always saying hello to us in the hall and asking if there anything we could get us. This is what makes people come back !! I would come back in a heartbeat. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great stay at the Dolphin We recently stayed 2 nights at the Walt Disney World Dolphin. It was our first time staying at the Dolphin, and we would not hesitate to stay there again. The hotel was very clean, including our room. The staff was accommodating and friendly. Our granddaughter especially liked the pool. It goes without saying the resort's location, close to the Disney parks, is an added bonus. Look forward to returning! April 23, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by concerns room cleanliness a concern. I signed up for the "green" program so that linens and towels did not need to be replaced. However, my room wasn't cleaned at all during my stay. There was a 12 inch cobweb hanging from the corner of the ceiling. I had to call for the two daily "complimentary" bottles of water "included" in the $14 plus tax resort fee. On site food and beverage overpriced for average quality. March 5, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Food and Wine We found it impossible to get any food. The lines were at least 50 people deep. No organization at all. Some never took any tickets at all. The wine pours were terrible for 2 or 3 tickets. We were very disappointed. The Wine Seminars on the other hand were great. Great info and great speakers. The pull out couch in the Dolphin is awefull maybe 3 inches will coils that you can feel . Very bad. October 21, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Take advantage of a captive audience With nearly 2000 people coming for the conference, you would think that the hotel would maintain the same flexibility as normal, especially for Starwood Preferred Guests. However, when I attempted to fix a reservation error I was charged an early check out fee equal to the cost of the room for the night. If you wanted to make me feel unwelcome or like I had been taken advantage of, that's how to do it. December 11, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good hotel for business, but not convenient for Disney The hotel was attractive and clean with professional and friendly staff. A positive feature is boat service to Epcot and Boardwalk. However, the hotel is not convenient to many other Disney parks, and bus service is slow and crowded. We paid for our hotel through a package, but were also charged $17.00 per day plus two taxes without notice for a Resort Fee. December 18, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by New to WDW Dolphin (Sheraton) Very nice, high-end accommodations. Friendly staff, bell hops were helpful, and room beds were very comfortable. I was not aware of the parking fees (valet and self-park have fees). I think the mandatory resort fee should be made optional - if I don't need the workout room, internet or water bottles, I shouldn't be made to pay for those items. Otherwise, very luxurious stay and located close to Epcot. March 29, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 Dropping Par Overall, the Dolphin is showing its age. The room is beginning to look dated, and things are going without maintenance (hook gone on back of bathroom door, cabinets falling apart, etc.). Also, the A/C sensor shuts it off overnight. This is seriously irritating, and I had maintenance try and disable the sensor. When I stay in a room, I expect the A/C to work all night, not just when I'm moving around. October 17, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by perfect location The Walt Disney World Dolphin is a perfect location for anyone spending time at Disney. The rooms are comfortable, the staff friendly and accommodating. The best part is that you can walk to EPCOT and the Boardwalk, take a boat to Disney Studios and buses to the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Downtown Disney all from the hotel property!!! Rated 3 out of 5 by The front desk staff I arrived around 1 AM and I was told that I'm going to get a pull out couch, because I checked in late. I thought the whole point of making a reservation so that you have a room with a bed when you arrive to the hotel. Also, I was told that I had to pay for parking when the conference paid for it. It seemed that the staff was not well informed of what's going on at the hotel. November 25, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Expense The prices for food were astronomical. I tried to buy a single tea bag to take to my room and they tried to charge me 3.30 cents for it. If you are running a family friendly resort you should have some economical ways to eat. Also there was not a shuttle from the airport. We spent another 150 dollars getting there and back. The exorbitant prices did not match the room luxury. November 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Disney Vacation !! I just returned home after a wonderful family vacation with 12 of my family members. We had three rooms all next to each other in the Dolphin. Our room was perfect size for my family of 4. The selection of restaurants was ideal for a group our size. All of the staff were extremely helpful. We loved that the Boardwalk, Epcot and Hollywood Studios were all walking distance. November 29, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by close to boardwalk The lobby is beautiful. The staff very nice and helpful. I did though have issues with the room. I felt the room needed a facelift. It looked pretty, but drawers smelled musty, bathroom floor dirty, by the fridge we had little ants and the elevators smelled old too. I did like that it was walking distance to the boardwalk, but not sure if I would stay here again. December 9, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Me gustó el hotel, pero... I was shocked when I saw the amount of mandatory taxes and fees in my bill. Prepare yourself to pay a higher rate-per- day than the one you're announced. Other than that, my kids 2 & 6 year olds and I enjoyed our short stay. The proximity to the disney parks was great and the hotel pools were enjoyed fully. Cleanliness is abundant and staff has a positive attitude. Room service was quick and easy August 16, 2013
