However, as an SPG Gold member my wife and I always enjoyed the 2 20oz bottled water we've always received at other Sheraton's. I thought that the food vending and stocked fridge with overpriced itmes was unnecessary and should be eliminated from the amenities of this luxury room. July 16, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by disappointed We booked 3 rooms in January for a stay in June..did not receive rooms on same floor as expected upon arrival. They moved us on day 2, an inconvenience for sure. Upon checkout 2 rooms had a credit balance which still has not shown on my credit card, but the 3rd room with a balance due has already been charged..i don't understand this. June 18, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Ascend Gala Dinner Service was disappointing I had such a wonderful time and enjoyed every moment during my stay with your hotel until we went to the gala dinner. The waitress was rude and impatient. Although we understand this is a quite large event to manage, a bit smile on the face and a responsive answer could make a huge difference. It was clear that the waitress was not happy to come to work to begin with. There was no smile from the beginning. When we simply asked for hot tea, she seemed distrubed by this request and it took 5-6 follow ups to make this happen. It was unbelievable how rude she was during this period, she would cut off you when you were trying to friendly remind her and eventually threw the tea pot to the table and left without even asking everyone who would like to have the tea. I was shocked and quite disappointed. I hope this is one instance off and Sheraton will be able to show that not only it can serve all guests well but also it can handle big events like this well. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great All-Purpose Hotel I have stayed at the Sheraton Chicago many times for many purposes. It is an outstanding hotel with a great location. My only criticism is equally applicable to most Chicago hotels: The parking rates are absolutely obscene. $50-60 per day for parking is obscene. May 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent SPG service This property has an awesome location, secluded enough, but close enough to the heart and vibe of the city. Service was excellent from the moment of arrival. SPG recognition was first class. Received automatic upgrade to Club level. Room on the 31st floor, Corner room, awesome view. SPG is the best program. Ask and you shall receive. May 18, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by THE HOTEL HAS GREAT FEATUES These was my second stay at the hotel. First the room was bigger then my first stay and I was so delighted. Second I had a great view to my left I had the lake and to my right was the river ,how cool is that. In my stay I was issued coupons for the bistro brunch and food and service was good. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Location Close to the navy pier yet walking distance of the mag mile too. Concierge desk was wondeful--Paula was a great help. THey also have a shuttle to the Horseshoe casino in Hammond, IN. From our window we could see the various tour boats ride by. Yet this hotel is quiet and not noisy at all. Rated 4 out of 5 by Communication between management and Staff The staff was incredible, however, I had an incident with the front desk manager basically accusing me (a gold member) of being a liar) after spending nearly $2000 in the hotel and I was only disputing a $36 charge from a restaurant. We were given Sheraton vouchers for a convention that I was attending with my family while the club level was being renovated. The manager basically came out and said that the hotel knows nothing of this and that I was responsible for those charges. I told him that he could've easily verified what I was saying with ANY of the staff from the restaurant. There was over 8000 people at the conference and about 10% of them were using the vouchers in the restaurant, but he told me that it was impossible and that the convention must have set that up. However, I know what my voucher said and it was DEFINITELY a Sheraton voucher. Needless to say, I really didn't appreciate the insinuation that I was lying. It was extremely insulting. Rated 5 out of 5 by Terrific Weekend in Chicago! We stayed at this hotel because of the great rate offered to Strictly Sail attendees. Proximity to Navy Pier and Michigan Ave. was terrific. Hotel staff was very helpful and accomondating. Rooms were very well appointed, clean and housekeeping was excellent! We will definately return to this hotel when visiting Chicago. February 18, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by Not very happy Check in was terrible. Was told room would be ready at 3pm. Went to front desk at 4pm and still not ready. They were going to have me keep waiting for room until I told them I would not, I was told 3pm so finally found me a different room. Key and tv did not work in room when got there. Twice during stay room key would not work. January 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by wonderful experience From the moment I arrived I felt special. The staff was super nice and very helpful. My room had a great view , was very comfortable and clean. We had a great time in the bar area and a excellent breakfast. The location was great for shopping, dining and site seeing. I have stayed in the past and I can not wait to return again. Rated 3 out of 5 by Adequate facilities, poor customer service The hotel is located in a very convenient central Chicago location. All the sites are easily accessible. Customer service, however, was severely lacking. I called different service areas several times at different times of the day and no one answered. Also, to have rooms made up so late (4 p.m.) in the afternoon is problematic. April 10, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Needs better drains The bathtub drain needed to be cleared. Water drainage was very slow. Engineering was called in to snake the drain, while better, the water still didn't drain properly. I'm not a fan of standing in the undrained water. Please completely clear the drains... especially when asked. April 20, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great location and wonderful staff We stayed here for a family trip to Chicago. Hotel was easy to find and centrally located to the attractions we wanted to visit. The hotel staff was awesome! They were very helpful with giving us directions around town. Room was a little smaller than expected but beds were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Views Great hotel in the heart of downtown Chicago. Walking distance to most major attractions downtown. You may need to take a taxi to any one of the CTA subway stops, however. Nice, spacious rooms with views of Lake Michigan. Friendly staff, great SPG program recognition, and all around great service. I would recommend this hotel. October 29, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by No Bang for Your Buck The best thing about my stay here was the bedding. I couldn't believe they didn't offer free Wi Fi. McDonalds offer free Internet service. The staff cleaned my room but there were trays left out in the hallway for 3 days. Drunken guest were allowed to sit in the lobby with beer cases on top of tables. Just an awful experience. We were given rooms on the same floor, which we requested, and the views were great!! Very happy with this hotel and we would both return. Fantastic location too! July 24, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by HVAC The HVAC system in my room did not work well. The unit did not properly condition the space. When I got to the room it was too late to make any type of change. Overall the public spaces were nice and the hotel we clean. The Receptionist was chearful but I would not recommend the hotel based on the HVAC system in the room. November 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect hotel experience!!!! My husband and I spent the weekend of 3-8-2013 at your hotel, and we had as perfect experience as you could hope for. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, polite, helpful and efficient. We will definitely stay at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers when we return to Chicago. Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfortable stay, but... ...the a/c was locked and couldn't cool the room below 68 degrees. The hotel was very nice and comfortable to be sure. The room was nicely appointed was a nice respite from the day's activities. My only complaint is that the A/C didn't get cooler than 68degrees - made for a very warm nights sleep with just the cover sheet. April 8, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by comfortable hotel - poor connectivity Hi, Very comfortable stay. Thank you. The connectivity in both sleeping rooms and the lobby areas was deficient and did not meet expectations for a hotel that recieves as much business travel as the Sheraton towers does. This would be a point of consideration for me when choosing a hotel in downtown Chicago in the future. October 22, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fabulous hotel & staff What a fabulous hotel! Not only was it beautiful, but the entire hotel staff, from the maid to the front desk, to the bell captain, as well! Everyone was super helpful, as well as friendly. Don't forget the BEDS!!! They are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo comfortable! I want to dupe it for my bed at home. THANK YOU Sheraton! Rated 3 out of 5 by stayed for a conference The hotel had a great conference center, which is probably why it was selected for the conference I attended. My room was a tad dusty and there was a little bit of a film on the bathroom counter when I first arrived. Aside from those things and that the room had 2 beds when there was only one of me, everything was great. August 28, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by One thing bugged me and turned me off the hotel After a couple of bad experiences, I haven't stayed at a Starwood property for quite a few years. Business brought me back to Chicago and we tried the Sheraton again. The rooms have been remodeled and are extremely nice. The front desk staff was great. But one thing really bugged me. I checked in on Saturday. My room was at the very end of the hall. On the floor against the end wall of the corridor, there was a room service plate of food on the floor when I checked in around 1 pm. When I came back to my room that evening, the plate was still there. Sunday morning, when I left for the day, the plate was still there. Sunday evening when I returned, the plate was still there. And on Monday morning when I checked out the plate was still there. Same plate. Same old food. It was pretty disgusting. Which is a shame, because overall the hotel was good. But it doesn't bode well for what's going on behind the scenes if no one can bother to pick up a dirty plate of old food. March 12, 2013
