Got to hotel we booked a king they tried gicing us a double. The couple next to us said they would take the double and give us their king, cool. Was in the room about a half hour wanted a bath no stopper. Called ftont desk and maintance brought one, hubby said that might not work. Which the guy replied well im NOT replacing the whole tub! He was VERY RUDE! Whatever I took a bath and when i was done came to the front room area to sit naked with my hubby. About a half hour later a maid just opens our door. WOW! She said we requested a wash cloth, no we didnt. Still knock id yourself. Called frontndesk shaking now. Then decided to go to lobby to speak with a manager. She was friendly and appoligized offered us free dinner. Cool, however that sucked also. Waitstaff took 10 mins to seat us another 15 to take our drink order. Another 15-20 to take our appitizer order, which she said we would have topay for.umm ok no problem.took another 10 mins to get to us and the calimari was nasty and the jumboo shrimp was tiny. She asked if we would like to order i said i was ready when u took the order for appitizers but you just walked away. Finally got dinner it was ice cold! By this time we had waited over an hour for our dinner. We told them to bring it to our room. The manager did and told us she watched the chef reheat it for us. Why didnt they make fresh food? Glad i didnt pay the close to a hundred for 2 reheated dinners. Then we found ants in the bathroom we was on the 4 th floor. I am highly allergic to ants and now have a really sore neck from an ant bite. Would i stay here again? Never!,

Bathroom plumbing is challenging with the leaks in the ceilint..please coming off the wall...the tub drains and makes the hallway carpret all wet....
In addition, I know it is party time for the HOlidays, but very challenging to secure a parking space for registered guests...makes driving around the lot frustrating.........

If this had been my first stay with a Sheraton it would have been the last. I am a gold member and was told the club floor was under renovations. I was given a room with a broken desk and every morning the construction crew tried to get into the room.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Would have liked free WIFI access in the room. Would have liked an outdoor area.

The rooms are always clean and my rest is always pleasant because the beds are the best. Down comforters and bedding is a plus in my book. I had a little mishap with this stay due to the comfort of the heating in my room and the toilet running by they came to fix both with no problem. I could not ask for a better place to stay during my business trips.

The suite has a mini kitchen w/ refrigerator and microwave but no dishes and utensils. The bathroom sink and shower had poor drainage. Very difficult to find a parking space. The suitcase valet was missing from the room.
On the positive side, the suite was spacious, well maintained (other than bathroom drainage) comfortable bed. Staff was friendly and helpful. 5 minutes from the airport...awesome!

I stayed at this hotel several times over that past few months on business and each time I had a positive expierence. Having been a GM with a national chain previously, I look for more than just that first hello or smile. I found that each staff member that I delt with was very professional and provided me with quality customer service. My room was clean and my bed very comfortable.I would recommend to others and stay there again if it was pleasure. Good job.

Our first impression of the hotel held true throughtout our 3 night stay. The lobby and atruim were very pleasant to look at and relax in. We were at this hotel from 12/31/11until 1/3/12. The rooms were clean, comfortable and updated. The beds were comfortable and we slept very well. Considering one of the nights was New Year's Eve and we had many band students in the hotel, it was still quiet and comfortable. Kudos to the Band kids. Very well behaved young people!! Eat in St. James Restuarant, the food is very good and the prices are not typical of hotel of this caliber. Smoked Salmon Egss Benedict YUM!!!!!!

We could not get a handicapped room because they had none available and they did not put us on the floor with the SPG accommodations. The room cleaning personnel were not careful pin cleaning the room and renewing the room supplies. The first day they did not renew the coffee and cream and sugars. They did not leave towels and washcloths on day two. Each day we had to call the desk to get supplies that should have been provided. The service for room cleaning did not include sweeping the floor as several areas were not swept. I found paper wrappers on the floor that were left by previous guests that should have been picked up but were not? The cleaning was not up to our expectations.

Loved it from the moment we walked in. Friendly and professional staff makes you feel so welcome. Lobby is amazing with Palm Trees and water, love the glass elevators. The rooms are all suites, even small refrigerator and microwave, so when we didn't finish dinner from their amazing restaurant downstairs, we took it to the room and enjoyed it later. Everyone on staff is so professional and friendly....that alone sets it apart from any other hotels...but the hotel goes even further, exceeding my expectations.

I stayed at the Westshore Sheraton Suites no less than 10 times during 2010-11. The staff was always very accommodating and and the room was above expectation. As a Platinum guest I was given a breakfast coupon daily to attend a very nice buffet in the restaurant. I was very satisfied with meals in the restaurant for both lunch and dinner. During one stay, they had a serious roof leak in the atrium. I mention this because they did not let it effect guests and upon my next stay it was completely repaired and indistinguishable. Finally, easy freeway access, free parking, close to airport and the best shops and restaurants in Tampa make this a great choice for anyone visiting the area.

Nice large room but we did experience more than average amount of problems. Hot water was a huge issue for both sink and shower. The TV in the bedroom had no sound. The TV in the other room worked at first and then we did not have any reception, cable. Breakfast on Saturday morning may have been the worst experience I have had traveling. It was a CLUSTER! Not much food at the buffet. I had to sit at the bar and eat. 2 waitresses were yelling at each other. Really quite unbelievable .

This hotel is like my second home. I have stayed here many times and never had a problem the staff is friendly, smart, helpful and respectful. It is always a joy to know that when I come to Tampa that I'm staying at Sheraton Suites!.

Everything was well done and expectations met. The only issue is the wireless was spotty at best and tv kept going off line...that was aggravating. Staff was very friendly. Just fix the wireless and it will be terrific.

I checked in and had two rooms. (I had to ask if my SPG number was listed). One of the rooms (536) smelled horribly of smoke and the person that was sent up accused us of having done something. If he was joking, it did not come across that way. All that was done was a little air freshener. My room door (537) was ill fitting and had to be slammed to shut it and was very hard to open. Your evening staff of Michelle and Mohammed are great and very personable. I give them high marks. Your restaurant is way over priced and $2.00 for a can of soda - really??? Your parking is also a bit of a problem.

The hotel was in a great central location, although the road noise was more than expected, making it difficult to sleep. The bed was comfortable and suite spacious, although the cleanliness left room for improvement. The trash can in my room was not changed, which wouldn't really be a bother except for the pack of cigarettes that was left by the previous tenant. The next morning I realized the bottom of the shower curtain had mold spots on it., which really sealed the deal for me personally. Maybe some rooms are better than others, I just wish I had gotten one that was in better condition.

This is the best Hotel I have ever stayed overnight. The rooms are so spacy and I love having a separate living room from the bedroom. I have stayed there a couple times and this last time I was there for a three nights. The staff is so efficient and will make sure you have what is needed. Of all the other hotels and Sheratons this one is the best!

Facility needs TLC. Location is good for someone looking for a room near the airport. Common areas appear dated, the room/suite very small and a closet of a bathroom. Would not recommend for an extended stay at this facility.

This isn't my first stay at this hotel but it may be my last.
First the good stuff'... The location is great for me, free parking (and a few spots for fuel efficient cars), close to the airport and a mall, the St. James in the hotel is great spot for dinner, great size rooms (great work space), each room has a kitchen area with a little fridge, there is an extra pillow in the closet. So, since I have to be in Tampa 2-3 time a year this is where I usually stay.
This stay wasn't that great, I'll give you the cliff notes.
- The lady at the front desk at check in was clearly unhappy to be there. Said thank you for the gold but didn't offer any other explanation on gold benefits at this location.
- Every time someone in another room used the water I could hear the water rushing through the pipes (I do not recall this from prior stays).
- My meetings finished at 3 am and while I planned to sleep in until 10 since my next meeting wasn't until 11:30 I couldn't because outside someone was running a leave blower... this started a little after 8:30am in the morning and I could hear for 20 minutes... this combined with the rushing water from the piped all night... well no sleep for you. Note I was on the 7th floor.
- Called the front desk to inquire about the internet cost and was told not to worry that it would just come off. Then it was not and I had to go to go to the front desk to check out.
- The young lady at the check out was rude and had a lot of attitude. Neesnua? I can't remember her name but it was something like that and apparently I was interrupting something better that she had to do other than correct my folio.
- And the icing on the cake, an 8.4 oz red bull is $5. I know there is always an up charge for item in the hotel but that over 100% up charge since then are about $2.00 just across the street at the shell.
So will I stay here again, I don't know. My other stays have been ok (no stay is perfect and no one expects that for $100-$150 a night...) and the only other option is to stay downtown. I will likely try something downtown next time I'm in Tampa and if that works out then this will have been my last stay here.
Just two other things that weren't a big deal but while I'm here... there was no safe in the hotel room which I have never seen, and I looked everywhere... in the closet... in the dresser...under both sinks no safe.
When you use the water its so soft it feels slimy on your skin... this time seemed particularly bad.

I have stayed here 6 times in the last year. Each time my expectations were met. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is good. By the 3rd stay they new me and my group.

Parking is a bit kludge, but it really depends on capacity. Desk staff was always friendly and welcoming. Try to get a room not facing the interstate, the noise can get loud.

This hotel is an excellent value for those staying in Tampa. Great facilities, close to the airport with regular shuttle service, and great staff. The rooms were incredible at the property. As far as I know, most rooms include a separate spacious living room with it's own TV that can have an input device. The hotel itself also looks modern and has a great central area with open views. Wifi could be faster, but I recommend using a cable connection if looking for fast speeds. I stayed at the hotel for 3k starpoints, and think that was a steal.

Many TV channels didn't work and the A/C did not function properly. Sinks did not drain quickly.

We've stayed at this SPG property in the past, but this particular time the staff really went above & beyond to be helpful. The staff was friendly at check-in, but the midnight desk staff deserves special recognition. We came back from our family's Busch Gardens adventure sometime after midnight and there was no parking available in the parking lot. One of the staff members offered to move his own vehicle so that we could park. Fortunately, one of the other staff members realized there was a 'reserved' space in front of the hotel that he made available for us to use. These two gentleman were kind & helpful at a moments notice to our very tired family! I wish that I had gotten their names so that they could be recognized individually, but hopefully this will make it back to them.

As a member and a regular visitor to this hotel when traveling into and out of the country for work I stay here. I found the front desk to be completely rude and without a smile. Over charged for room and internet which I had to bring to there attention. The Dining room staff was great ( Brad had waited on us twice and a perfect rep for your hotel. The room the ceiling by vent was peeling off, and had bubbles in the paint. The drain was stopped up in the restroom. I will continue to stay here on my travels, but surely work on front desk for they are first impression.
