Plus: the 37 floor did a great job supporting the need of my staff to meet in the conference room. Gina and team did an excellent job helping us have a productive enjoyable trip. The male attendant I did not get his name) was exceptional.
Minus: I do not care for the 1st floor dining (breakfast). Too hectic, low service. food is OK at best.

arrived at 11PM, 12MAY, checked at Non smoking room, but the room with strong cigarrett smell.
Request change the room, anew room after 2 hours.
The hotel management looks like they do not have any policy for Non Smoking guests.
Those smoking guests can smoke anywhere of the hotel......

I checked in after 9am. Front desk staff either was new or had sleeping problem. I had to repeat my question several of times and then she will give 1 or 2 word answer. No WiFi available on 1 night as they basically no WIFI except at Club lounge or Lobby. Luckily Club Lounge staff was nice enough and get me one next day in the morning.

The business lounge at 37 floor is great. The staff there are so friendly and helpful. The food and drinks are much better than before. It is a relaxing environment for people to rest, chat or meeting. That is the place I want to stay whenever I am back to the hotel. Thank you very much to the lounge staff. You have done a great job!

1. The hotel room has bad odour from smoking even I stayed at non-smoking floor.
2. The shower amenities not appealing to use. It may be a personal preference but I will not use.
3. Breakfast at the cafe was absolutely untasteful and of no quality and standards.
4. The power plugs are dated and insufficient for use for twin sharing.

I love this hotel. No, it is not the luxuriest, poshest. However, it is extremely comfortable, cozy. It gives me a home feel.
Staff are extremely friendly. Location is great, with metro station right on property.
Restaurants are awesome, breakfast delicious. Price is competitive. Internet complimentary (could be company deal)

The staff on the 37th floor Club Lounge delivers WOW in being attentive, prompt, all while giving great smiles!! Gina, Kay & 1 other Starwood professional EXCEEDED all my needs prompting me to award them with a WOW! One other super star was Denis, a Chef in the main restaurant - he made me smile with his awesome cooking!!

I have been staying at this hotel every time I am in Shanghai and I always have great experience. This time was the same, I am SPG gold level, I was greeted and thanked for staying at the hotel and upgraded to suite. It felt so good after some rough traveling in China! I really enjoyed it!

The business lounge at 37 floor is one of the best I have ever had. The environment is very comfortable and convenient. Lounge staff Shirly, Bella, Tina, Gina, Kay and Sally are so friendly and helpful. I am a picky person but really have nothing bad to say. Good job, boys and girls and keep it up!

I am privileged to be a frequent guest of this hotel. An excellent location. Subway just a few steps away. Short taxi ride to CBD. All inhouse facilities are top notch. Rooms are quite spatious, and user friendly. Staff professional, well trained, and always quick to accommodate. I look forward to my next visit.

The equipment in the gym especially the running machines are frequently out of action and the gym is too hot in the summer with the air-conditioning completely inadequate
No SPG points if you stay in the residences!

I am really surprise by the absence of Wifi broadband in the room. I have always stayed in Sheraton or SPG hotels when i travel for business and this is the 1st time i am coming across this lack of facility. I would certainly be looking out for other alternative next time i am in Shanghai.

My stay was very enjoyable.
Check-in was quick and professional.
Room size was good and clean.
Staff was very helpful.
The breakfast had a good variety and quality of dishes were excellent.
The fitness gym was a bit small.
The room safe did not unlock but staff came in and fixed it.

I stay here many times. One consistent phenomena is I feel it is under staff/ not focused.
At check in/check out at later in the night or earlier (8am) check out, the no. of staff at the reception desk is left with one, not enough to cover the additional workload that might appear.

Suite was spacious and well appointed - but service issues marred the stay. Slow service in lobby cafe, poor response to maintenance issue in room. Staff just seemed kind of rough around the edges. But in this part of Pudong it's probably a good bet.

no WiFi in the rooms so my phone is non-op at this facility (this alone will deter me from frequenting this property)...
Otherwsie, it was spectacular...
Lobby WiFi dropped me 4 times within qa 15 minute session (reall aggrevating)...

I've only eaten in the restaraunt on the loby floor. I think there chineese dishes would be good but they miss the mark on some western food. Too much fat on the rack of lamb, poor pizza. Staff is great.

I can understand there is no WIFI connection in this hotel, however I thought I could have the internet charge (RMB100/day) waived during my stay as I am a Gold Member, no?
Need an upgrade really soon for the hotel in such a big city. Even Xiamen Sheraton has WIFI.

This Sheraton hotel in new opened on Shanghai Pudong area. If you are arrived and worked in pudong area, it will be good choice for you. This hotel also has good view to see the Bund. The hotel club lounge offer good meal and drink. The room is very new and comfort.

The hotel is located close to a station on Metro Line No. 4, very convenient to take metro to the city centre and other attractions. Taxi ride to Puting Airport normally takes you 45 minutes and the taxi fare is about 150 RMB.

A frequent destination for me. Sometimes good, sometimes a little under expectations in room maintenance or staffing at reception.
Generally good for business need and the price we paid. If the buffet breakfast could have some more variety, that would be better.

Hotel could go aging but service is what matters more to guests. Youyou Sheraton offers services in such a detail and personal level that it turns out to be a excellent treat and wonderful experience to me and my colleagues as guests to Shanghai for a week.

i had dinner both nights - 2nd night i ordered thai green curry vegetarian - yes vegetables were their but no curry, upon request again rather than making new dish, chef just added some curry on my current dish/ plate, is this we expect from 5 star hotel.
