I booked the club level-no free upgrade here-and liked the hotel very much. The club level was pretty empty and I was first told that there would be no breakfast which was a lot of the reason I booked the club level int he first place...then it turned out there was breakfast after all so that could have been handled better. the room was great,club amenities were welcome,staff very nice. But the gym and pool have no locker room,no plastic bags to put workout clothes in,no place to change at all. I wound up wearing my robe to and from the pool which was sort of uncomfortable since is in the lobby

We had to move our room after we had checked in and unpacked due to a dog incessantly barking next door to us. Diane at the front desk was extremely gracious and helpful and placed us in a larger room on a diff floor. The next evening as we were getting ready for dinner, we were again bothered by two dogs barking in the room next to us. We received a partial credit thankfully. I was pleasantly surprised by hotel and its location (I usually stay closer to boardwalk) but would hesitate to stay again due to possibility of barking animals disturbing stay. Please bring back designated pet floor.

We traveled from NYC to AC for a 2 day, pre school, mini vacay. We tried booking online and it said there were 5 rooms available. We wanted adjoining rooms (or at least next to each other, (we had the kids) so we called instead of booking online.
We were assured that it wouldn't be an issue. The phone price however was significantly higher than online. After finding some phantom discounts, the agent reluctantly agreed to meet their online price - IF WE BOOKED NOW.
Upon arrival, the parking was an absolute disaster, not at all as described on the phone. The facility's NON-COMPLIMENTARY self park was a 15 minute walk from the room WITH ALL OUR LUGGAGE and no bellhops until the lobby.
The multiple commutes to our car and back to the room added significant delays to our itinerary and we ended up not visiting all the attractions we scheduled.
When I complained (and I'm NOT a complainer), I was told "sorry, you could have opted for valet". How considerate.
The amenities in the room left a lot to be desired as well.
One tiny bottle of shampoo for 2 people, one mini soap bar, no plastic laundry bag, seriously!
The club floor? Complimentary? A joke! Hardly any food put out. Tiny carraffe for hot water (none left after a few people had).
As I said, I'm NOT a complainer and enjoy being pampered when we go on vacation. For what we paid -vs- what we got, it left us scratching our heads and asking ourselves: "how did they just get away with that"??
They won't see me in December.

I am very upset about the lack of cleanliness and attention my room has gotten on my stay this Memorial Weekend. I am applaud that my room was not cleaned what so ever. I returned to my room on two occasion to only find my room was not tidied and in the same condition I left it. I have two small children and this is totally unacceptable. I informed guest services and they sent someone with garbage bags to give to me to do it myself. I'm paid $250 a day to stay at a DO IT YOURSELF Hotel. I am a SPG member and this has never happened to me on all my stays. I received a call from Management the following day apologizing for what happened and informed me someone was going to come up and clean the room. I would like to report that we returned to our room again only to find the room was in the same condition as we left it in three days ago. This is totally unacceptable! I will not be bought by breakfast and free parking only to be disrespected over again over again. I was assured by your management and the cleaning staff on the floor that my room would be cleaned. Not only was the room not cleaned, but NO new shampoo, towels, sheets, and toilet paper. Thank god that the were two rolls of toilet paper that last 4 days of my stay. What pushed it over the top and made me leave a day early was when guest services said to me that they would call the housekeeping manager and ask him if the room was cleaned; was she joking? I was being told that I was lying? I received a call back that the supervisor would like to examine the room, I have pictures as proof, he told me that they had a housekeeper that had been giving them trouble before; why is that my business and why do I care.

As I arrived at the hotel to check into my room before I could even give my name I was rudely interrupted by the front desk telling me I cannot check in and that I was early and would have to wait until 2pm-3pm to get my room because they were sold out last night. "nice to meet you too" I arrived at 12pm and had no problem to check my bags and come back when it was ready but this minimum wager set me off already.
Also this was while my car was still parked out front because there was not a valet insight.
I went to the next counter and my room would be ready in 30min.
I am a Gold status at Starwood and a part of this level you get a choice of free-internet or Starwood points which they are supposed to ask me at the front desk but never do. As I get to the suite I call down to find out they do not support Wi-Fi in the rooms. This is 2013 not 1984, come on. They tell me that I have to use an Ethernet cord and to accept the charges but I will not be billed. I get my bill and I am charged not once for internet at $9.95 but twice. I have been calling for the past 3 days to get my bill fixed but no one returns my calls. Also they overcharged me for multiple items besides just internet on my bill.
When I was checking out I get attitude from the valet window and they would not give me my car so I had to get manager to go and speak with them and I pre-paid for parking.
Worst hotel in AC, you can stay anywhere else and have a better experience and get Wi-Fi in your room. It was not worth the attitude and I only stay at Starwood Hotels except for in AC now.

there was something about that hotel that just made me grossed out. the hallways had a horrible spell. the room seemed very old and in dire need up renovations - the room wasnt completely cleaned from the person before us. found a glass and m&ms on window i was grossed out everytime i went into the bathroom just seemed old and musty - it just wasnt as clean and fresh as it should have been. we also heard alot of noise from the room next door and the toilets being flushed. the front desk said they got echo friendy toilets and they make alot more noise i did not enjoy being woken up from this i wouldnt run to stay there again or reccoment a/o else to unless they renovate. but they r in a grt location

I had few issues with this place. I stayed there for one night recently. We had issues with the keys not working properly. We were given 2 keys and only one key was working. The water in the room is complimentary for SPG members but still got charged for it. The comforter in the room was dirty and we asked for a replacement which took almost an hour to replace.

Ridiculous charge for internet and parking. The hotel is right across the street from the Conv Center, but it has no style or other redeeming aspects. The staff is nice, but the food is below average and their is no ambiance.

Platinum status "upgraded to club", nothing else, not even asked if I'd like a double double bed v. King bed as hotel completely empty on a Wednesday (I stayed overnight to play golf next day). Was on Club floor, but Club not open and fully functional other than weekends. I missed "evening hors d'ordeuvre", ZERO morning food, not even a granola bar. Club had water, no soda, juice, etc. Espresso/cappuccino machine needed servicing - overdue according to LCD display. Containing milk product, I'm not brave enough to try and risk ruining my day with an upset stomach or worse. I expected that parking wasn't free with hotel although Tun Tavern Restaurant in hotel on site notes "Free parking across the street". Parking is in Convention Center and is a charge with valet being double. Bar in hotel was not open. Restaurant was not very good, steak undercooked and undercooked on return from kitchen to re-cook, "Filet" was tough sirloin, $3 Bernaise was tiny cup out of a bottle. Very disappointed in Restaurant.
Recommended for Convention Center.
Overall - not up to standards anywhere except standard Sheraton Bed.

We stayed at this hotel for the convenience of the location. We were at an event at the Convention center which is attached to the hotel. Location was great. We were able to walk to anywhere we wanted to go in Atlantic City. I am a member of a lot of hotel programs, and the Sheraton in Atlantic City had the least amount of perks for being a member than any of the others. We had to pay extra for internet, I got charged for a bottle of water that was supposed to be complimentary, the pool was smaller than other smaller hotels we have stayed at, the hot tub is outside and closed in the winter months, there is not a complimentary breakfast, and I could go on. Definitely not worth the group rate we.got, let alone the regular rate they charge.

It has great features, the room was clean & comfortable. I love that it was so convenient for the convention. The fitness club has everything you need to keep your workout routine & the pool to relax afterwards. The only bad impression I had at the end of the stay was how some of the representatives are unsympathetic for a mother, we couldn't check out at their design late check out because my grandson fell asleep & my ride wasn't there. The representative had a terrible aptitude when I explain the situation & I had to pay again the fee for late check out.

Room has old upholstery, reeks of smoke, no
fresh air. Ok'd green policy at check in, housekeeping knocked at 7:45am.
Staff needs better communication, was given consistent wrong info regarding convention I was attending. Room service did not have a pen and confused.

There were two false fire alarms in the middle of the night. While the staff can not prevent this from happening, the lack of organization was unacceptable. No one indicated to the guests that it was ok to return to the hotel so we were left out in the cold in the middle of the night with no idea what to do. Twice. There was no apology for the false alarms from the staff - in fact, no communication whatsoever from them. Absolutely awful experience and very much below the high expectations I have come to be accustomed to at other SPG properties.

I stayed at this hotel as my assistant booked it for me for the Arett Show. I expected to receive the Show rate but when i checked out it was not on the bill. I asked for an adjustment and was refused. I asked to speak to the manager and he also refused to provide the Arett contract rate. This is totally unacceptable and I can tell you I will not stay at this SPG property EVER again!!! Total unacceptable customer service!!!
I will NEVER EVER recommend this hotel and I will do everything I can to have Arett contract with another hotel.

We stayed for two nights. Positives: access to the pool, location of hotel to shopping, pleasant front desk staff. Negatives: extremely uncomfortable beds (the sheets and comforter were extremely crispy, almost like the paper cover on the doctor's table, and the mattress was murderous to my back). Also, we reserved a deluxe room which should have had a microwave and fridge. When we checked in, we were told they would have to bring those items to us, as they were out of the rooms. Fine. After my second phone call, they brought the fridge, but not the microwave. I called about that, but it was never brought and we gave up hope for it. I have had excellent experience with Sherton in the past, but am hesitant to try again for fear of the uncomfortable beds.

I had a good time at the Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center. The staff and facilities was great. The price for accommodations met my needs and the location was convenient to all of the places (shopping, food, relatives) that I needed to have a wonderful vacation with relatives. Looking forward to staying in the future.

We arrived early and pre-registered. from there we went to the pool until our rooms(2) were ready. When we went back to the front desk, they asked to see everything all over again. I said we already pre-registered and pointed to a man behind the desk who we spoke with not 1/2 hr before. He said he didnt't recognize us so I had to go back to the pool area to get my paperwork AGAIN. for being spg members I thought that was unnecessary. Also on check out day, we had arranged for a late check out and so we went out for breakfast. Upon returning to our rooms, the keys would't work. The front desk never saw we had late check out and so at 11am, the keys were usless. Very annoying. We were very disappointed with the service. This was our 2nd time at your hotel.

the hotel is clean and neat but I'm very upset with the staff and how I was treated.. i booked booked a room 2 months in advance with 2 double beds and was told at the day off check in that they over booked the rooms and I was only offered a room with a king size bed and a cot..we were not there to camp I was staying there with a group of cheerleaders not related to me and was not going to have them stay in my bed..after having to make a scene and telling them I was calling corporate I was finally given a room with 2 double beds

This was my second time at this hotel and the first time for my friends. We had an amazing experience at the hotel. Our luggage was brought up to our room by Mr. Mitchell and he was excellent. He answered all our questions about the hotel and made sure we were comfortable before he left. We stayed in the club room so we enjoyed the appetizers/drinks the lounge had to offer which of course was a treat because we didnt expect that. Pool had very comfortable water temperature. All in all, would defintely go back again.

The bathroom was not clean. The bed was uncomfortable and left my back and my husband back sore and tried .I went to the front desk to ask for someone to remove a previous guest belonging and no one came I had to take pictures and go to front desk again then housekeeping came to my room .They took the dirty towels and left my room.I checked behind them and still left some ones underwear int the shower .I had to call down the hallway to have them come back . I like the hotel but it was not a good experience. you

excellent customer service at front desk. all requests were dealt with within minutes. warm greeting on arrival and snacks for our dog. excellent gym open 24 hours. nice pool for adults to relax and kids to have fun, shame that the outside whirpool was closed. comfy beds, 2 out of our 3 rooms had good views. good restaurant on site and open till late. choose here over a casino hotel, its an easy walk to the boardwalk and our morning walks along the beach were great providing you looked out to sea !!!!!

The bad experience started when we first arrived. We had to wait in our vehicle for over 20 minutes before we could enter the hotel. We were told our vehicle was over sized and could not be parked in the garage. We were waived the valet fee by Patricia at the front desk. Went to take a shower the next morning and there was no hot water and the water pressure was so low. Bathroom was not clean, hair around the toilet and basin. Trash cans were not empty and had gum stuck to the bottom of them. I expected so much more from the Sheraton in AC. Ask to speak to a manager during checkout, waited 10 mins. and was told the manager was on the phone. Karen at the front desk gave us $30 credit towards the room. Haven't seen the credits on my credit card as of yet , so I will give it a couple more days. You don't have to worry about a return visit.

Room was dirty. It was obviously not cleaned. Bathroom smelled like mildew towels and there was other peoples hair on the bathroom floor. There was other persons hair when we pulled the comforter down. Gross. Then under the bed there was beer cans which my child could have touched. I didnt even want to sleep there but my husband and I were too tired to drive home to PA. I will never stay here again. Best part about the hotel is the valet service which are highly competent and very good at there job.

Although I usually have a great experience when I stay at a Sheraton, with this stay I was disappointed. I wasn't put on an SPG floor at check in, I imagine that if I had been I wouldn't have experienced a room with no iPod radio (although I prepaid for a room that had one) and a tub that was completely backed up so that taking a shower became disgusting. While I preferred not to call around at midnight to have someone possibly switch my room due to these issues (I had two children with me)

the shower in my room shook so loud I thought it was going to explode. other guests in the hotel said the same thing. the walls were so thin you could hear everything around you. we also could hear people's conversations above us through the vent in the top corner of the room. we also heard the toilet flush above and around us all day and night. so to say I had a relaxing, quiet stay is an understatement! I will be recovering from my stay for a week. they need to improve all of this!

Phone didn't work, shower drain clogged up. Very poor lighting, no vent in bathroom. At 3 AM got woken up by PA system announcing that "the emergency situation" was under control. We never got the first announcement informing us of any emergency. The decor takes me back to the 1970s but in a bad way. Location however is very convenient. Express check out used to be available. No longer an option. it seems instead of improvements being made, client friendly services are being reduced.

From the moment I checked in to the moment I left - I didn't feel as if my appreciation for being a platinum member was met. I had asked for a roll out bed 3 times before it was delivered. Since this was a leisure trip, I shouldn't have to do my due diligence with the staff to make sure my requests are being fulfilled.
Even when I spoke to management, it was just going around in circles. Let's just say if there is ever a need to go to Atlantic City again I WILL NOT BE STAYING HERE!

The location couldn't be better, perfectly situated close by the train and bus stations and easy to reach by car.
The rooms are spacious and very clean.
The hotel is central, but the rooms are quieter than most as it's set back from the boardwalk - meaning you get a great nights rest after all the fun on the sea front.
I would highly recommend this hotel both for business travelers and families.
The beer in the Tuk restaurant is fantastic also, lots of choice and great value.

I have stayed here other times, not sure what happened? Initially when I checked in the front person mentioned that there were no rooms in the club floors because they were still cleaning them. On Thursday August 22nd around 8:15 Am I handed the front 2 shirts to get laundered. Never got my shirts. I checked out yesterday morning and I was told someone would contact me. I guess its not happening. I hope I will get re-iumbursed for the shirts if they don't find them?
