The room was decent and well put together and the staff was nice but I had a few, relatively, minor mechanical issues in my bathroom. Even after 3 requests for service, the issues were still not resolved and there was no communication regarding what was done, only a voicemail asking if everything was okay. Even after indicating, to the manager, that it was not okay, it still didn't get fixed. In the end, part of one issue was fixed but not the other one. While I got a small credit, it was a joke compared to the headache that was created, not so much because of the plumbing issues, but because of the staff that, really, just didn't seem to care.

room was VERY hot, especially when trying to sleep at night. Rooms were very noisy, Hotel room doors closed were loudly so when people in other rooms were leaving it would wake me up. Got no sleep during my 2 night stay.

right in the middle of everything. fantastic, modern room. quick, efficient elevators. room did get a bit hot at night. other than that, perfect stay.

Remodeling and updates to the hotel were worth the growing pains. We thoroughly enjoyed our hotel experience. Everything was perfect.

I was going to give this hotel 4/5 stars but had to do 3/5.
Location is centrally located to the french quarters. It's easy walking distance from all the action. So it's very well located.
The quality of the hotel is decent compared to most Sheratons I've stayed at. The room we stayed in was clean, seemed modern and we had a great view.
Executive lounge is great. Great view, staff is very attentive and friendly. Food quality is decent at breakfast.
So I'm platinum and at check-in we were told breakfast would be included (we did breakfast instead of 500 amenity points). Wifi should have been free as well as indicated by their staff. We stayed there 4/26 to 4/29 and to this day I am still trying to get ahold of someone to reverse the bill for the breakfast and the internet. It's just bad support. If you stay here, please make sure you take down the name of the person at frontdesk who told you what would be free and what wouldnt. Platinum Concierge told me that usually the Plat. amenity is a choice between Points, Breakfast and sometimes Wifi. So Wifi is NOT always free for Plats at some properties. It could have been a choice. So just be clear and take down who you talked to.
The breakfast in the restaurant was horrible. Just tasted like a really cheap motel food. They did have a made to order omelets bar but there was a reason why people were getting "well done" omelets".
I really wish I could have written more good things as I stay at a lot of Sheratons and it's kinda like home to me parts of the year!

I made my reservation at least 4 mos in advance. Sent a request to the General manager 2 weeks before the stay requesting an upgrade to an executive room which I had gotten every stay before even during Jazzfest. Then after being told we could have the upgrade for 1 night out of a 5 night stay, but then would have to move the next day so we declined it because we had plans the next day. The room keys had to be remade 4 times in the first 48 hrs of a 5 night stay. The parking charge was too high and the waits for the car was too long whenever we got it out. In summation this was a very disappointing stay and we do not plan to ever stay there again.

Absolutely quiet and immaculate. Wonderful helpful staff. Smiling faces always. Great bar in lounge and club lounge has the most thoughtful staff for guests to make their snack or breakfast meals enjoyable. They certainly know their city. just ask them anything you need to know about the city. They give great advice.
