Staff in this hotel excellent without exception. Bellmen,doormen,wait staff, front desk in particular. Special mention to Trudy who went out of her way to have an item I had left in the hotel returned to me. Minor issue, we had no tv the first night we were there and they were unable to fix it until the next day. Because of the great staff we would definitely recommend this hotel.

I had made the Sheraton Crystal City my primary selection when in town over the past couple of years. However the TV channel selection has been changed and it is now abysmal. Multiple MTV blah blah channels. No A&E and no Foxnews, no Fox Business. I understand that for some that is probably a positive. For me, a political junky, the change is reason enough I will stay elsewhere.

from the front desk to housekeeping the staff is outstanding. many people at our conference commented on this. and we can't forget Quentin at the front desk who was unfailingly kind and cheerful! thankyou!

One of the conference rooms smelled so bad (mold ? mildew? or sewage pipe) our group had several people sick by the end of the 2nd day including me. Ask to change rooms 1st day and by 3rd day when people were getting sick they were glad to alow us to change.
I would not recomend
They were going to give me 1,000 extra starwood points but they never put them on my account

The bathtub faucet need to be updated very hard to turn. A channel guide would help for people who aren't familiar with the stations. Everybody has an iPod or a phone that plays music to make the comfortable. That alarm clock needs to be updated . The staff should respect the sign in front of the door. Do not knock just call to confirm. The front desk is very courteous.

What I experienced was an employee who went ABOVE & BEYOND to provide service and comfort to a guest. I arrived around 8:30pm after a full day of travel. Daniel at the front desk recognized that I wasn't feeling well and sent a bowl of soup and a pot for hot tea. Daniel treated me more like a family member than a guest. You can't train employees to care like that.

I have stayed here a couple times, but I will not unless it is all that is available. First, the staff is friendly and professional. Second, the food is good. However, the rooms are small and you can hear all the neighbors talking and doors slamming. I had a terrible nights sleep and that was not conducive to a productive meeting early the next morning.

It's been awhile since i stayed at this particular hotel and was completely impressed by the quality of service shown by the front desk staff and restaurant staff, particulary -- AMERICA and RANJIT. Service provided by both AMERICA and RANJIT should be the model to all staff. They're the reason why guests keep coming back to this hotel. Great job!!

The location of the hotel is very convinient. As we are foreigners we needed a lot of help and the staff is warm, helpful, friendly, met all our needs. The facilities are a little bit scarce. It does not have separate dining room for the guests of the hotel, does not have a swimming pool etc.
The rooms are clean but kind of humid as they wash the carpets,

Convenient to Crystal City Metro and race start. Front desk staff went above and beyond in answering our questions and providing assistance for transportation and attractions; they also sent a special gift for the member of our party who was celebrating a birthday. Helped make our weekend in DC fantastic! Only downside are the incredibly slow elevators.

From the start of my stay until the end of my stay the Crystal City Sheraton's service was above and beyond what I expected. The front desk agents were extremely courteous, as were the agents who answered the phone when I called with questions. They even offered me a free breakfast because my cable was out one night before. I will definitely stay again.

There was a musty smell in room. The "Do not disturb sign" was missing. Hotel Bar closes as 11:00 p.m., even on New Years Eve. They need to expand hours to at least midnight. Better sound proofing of rooms is needed because you can easily hear other hotel guest in next room. The location of hotel is great and their room service coffee is excellent.

We used a livingsocial deal to book this hotel. With the deal, we got free parking, deluxe room, and a bottle of wine. They were out of wine vouchers and offered us breakfast instead, which we took with no problem as the wine we would have just held onto and probably gave away.
Back to the hotel. It is located in a great spot, right around the corner from the metro. Less than 5 minutes walking. It has parking underneath that is pricey but is approiate for the area.
The room was very nice. We were on the 12th floor facing DC. We could see the Pentagon and just pass that the Washington monument. The room was typical but nice typical. Comfortable Bed, Nice Desk, Floor to Ceiling windows.
The breakfast was good too. Was a nice warm breakfast that we just rolled out of bed, went downstairs and ate.
My favorite part was a noon checkout. Most hotels are 10 or 11 and Noon was perfect because we could sleep in, eat breakfast, then pack and go.

This is not downtown New York City, but if you need an affordable place to stay and park and don't mind taking a train to get to the city, this is an excellent place to stay. The staff is friendly, the hotel is clean and the shuttle service to and from the train station is punctual and friendly. Thanks so much for your services.

From the moment we checked in the front desk was so very accommodating
to us. Late check-out and asking if there was anything they could do for us. We were within walking distance to start of race...major reason for staying there plus very close to metro for getting back to hotel after the race. Will definitely stay here again!

My first room had stains all over the comforter and two huge stains on the mattress. Front desk was very nonchalant about it. They changed my room to another room that was disgusting with all the hair on the beds. I was extremely disappointed with the service.

I was really shocked that a Sheraton would be in this condition. (Old furniture, no hairdryer and old, uncomfortable bed. The biggest problem was the airconditioning and ventilation system. There was no air on the 12th floor and the system in place looked like it was from the 1970's blowing stale, moldy air.

The staff that set the buffet and attended the buffet for the meeting for the two days were attentive and took care of requests immediately. They were much more efficient than those in the restaurant.
The bedrooms were well appointed. The carpets need to be spot cleaned but that happens over time.

I really enjoyed my stay in Crysal City even though I was attending a conference across town. Bryan was awesome at helping me with a few requests, and even sent me a birthday gift to my room!
It is handy if you are flying in or out of the DCA airport as well. I will definately stay here again!

The location wa perfect with a very helpful staff, clean updated rooms and a very reasonable price. As a single female business traveller, I felt safe and well taken care of. The staff made wonderful suggestions for nearby shopping/restaurants that were close enough to walk to.

I stayed at this hotel because I had no power at home because of the storm in the area and needed somewhere to stay that was pet friendly. I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms were comfortable and the location is perfect. The staff was truly pristine and always willing to help.

Stayed for 7 days. Very convienent to metro and several resturants. If you need rest or want peace and quiet don't stay here. Hotel caters to large tour groups and tends to be very noisy all timse. No regard for guest that need to rest early to get up early.

"DO NOT" stay at this hotel if you need your rest. I was up all night with noisy next door patrons. I complained to the staff and the management. Problem was not resolved.I will never stay at this hotel again.
Pizza boxes all over Lobby when checking out.

My wife and I Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was attentive the room was clean and the food was good. If you are planning a trip to DC this is the place to stay. Just park your vehicle and jump on the Metro to see all DC has to offer.

Lady name America provided exceptional service. Her knowledge of the hotel should be commended. Her smile and her anthusiasm are what the guests need early in the morning. Perfect at the restaurant and very accomodating. Great Servce America!

Was disappointed that after all these years of staying with this hotel, they stopped access to the Club Lounge for Gold members. You need to be Platinum to access it now. I love their great staff, but will likely find another hotel next time.

Excellent service staff and front desk staff, especially Ranjit. Very helpful and accomodating! Only complaint is slow elevators -- the doors take too long to open and close at each stop causing noticable delays at peak periods.
