Rated 5 out of 5 by fan2pluto AWESOME STAFF!!!
We just had a huge family reunion at the Sheraton and they went above and beyond in servicing our large groups needs. A few minor glitches were fixed quickly. Front desk staff always fast and friendly. The van drivers are like our FAMILY!! Paval, Raphael, Johnnie, Freddie always great us with smiles and hugs.
You can't beat the service for the price. Pool was a favorite hang out (only negative was no food service calls were answered at the pool).
We always come back multiple times a year and will continue to do so.
SPECIAL THANKS to David Evans & Elizabeth for helping me get all the rooms booked and coordinated. ;o)

This is my 5th year in a row staying at Sheraton Anaheim for my annual pilgrimage to Disneyland. I love the large rooms, the shuttle service and seeing the same staff from year to year. This hotel meets all of our family needs - fishtanks in the lobby for the kids, store/deli for quick snacks meals, bar and restaurant. See you next year and thank you!

As someone who travels 36 weeks a year this hotel was my worst experience in the last couple of years. You cannot set the temperature in the room. Our room was 83 degrees at night and the solution offered was to open the window. You will find out the hotel is on I-5 so that idea is terrible with all the traffic. We were told other rooms were cold so they turned the heat on for everyone but that it could not be controlled. Instead of offering a discount or anything for a Starwood Preferred Guest, I had to argue with them to be let out of the last night stay without a penalty. Extremely disappointed in the experience.

Very comfortable beds, the shuttle to Disneyland was wonderful so you're not paying for parking at the hotel and then again at Disneyland. When I came into the bathroom, there was a hair you don't want to see on the toilet seat. talk about yuk. and yes, the bathroom is small. the rest of the room was a good size, nice flat screen tv, and nice to have a mini frig. ok, the tub did not drain, the bathroom sink faucet sprayed off to one side and all over the counter, there was little/no hot water, and the air conditioning never really got cold. But the staff was great, and when i mentioned the issues in the morning, they comped our parking and breakfast. breakfast buffet was awesome! loved the veggie/egg frittata, and fresh fruit. they brought me half and half for the coffee when i asked, too, instead of the little nondairy creamers. overall, in spite of the issues, i would totally still recommend this hotel to Disney visitors. i found management responsive and still would return.

Rated 2 out of 5 by TH66 Not for a business traveler
The staff was fantastic, but this hotel is not for the business traveler. Sheraton notoriously has the worst desk - with no outlets to plug in a computer, but many facilities will have a lamp with a plug in or a strip outlet. This property had nothing. It's also in desperate need of a renovation.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jackie7777 terrible room
Worst hotel experience I have had. I was given the noisiest room next to the freeway ramp and parking lot despite my SPG membership and the plumbing was defective. Not only did I have a poor night's sleep, my family and I had to shower in the room that was four doors down since there was only piping hot water in the sink and shower (no cold water came through).

Very clean and nice looking hotel and room. No problems or complaints. Easy to ride shuttle back and forth to Disneyland. Shuttle prompt and on-time according to its every 30 minute schedule from the hotel and every 30 minute schedule back from Disneyland.

The family castle package is a good deal. We like the size of the one-bedroom suite although the doorway is too narrow and the bathroom is too small. The shuttle bus is also too crowdy coming back from the park. Needs more frequent shuttle.

Rated 3 out of 5 by darkhairdiva Sheraton Anahiem for Disney Trip
I have mixed feelings about this hotel.
The positive attributes are :The staff were tremendously helpful and flexible; the location to Disneyland and easy shuttle access was really great and a huge time saver. The deli and office centers were very convenient. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable with nice comforters.
The negatives were: The rooms are very outdated, the carpets are very worn and furniture really banged up. The first room I was assigned smelled like pet urine and stale body odor. The staff moved me right away. The second room, although no offensive odors didn't feel clean with old carpets, scratched and peeling headboards. I didn't ever walk barefoot on the carpets and certainly not the standard that I am used to with Sheraton. The shower was old and banged up. The hallways were dark with filthy carpets. My room was on the freeway side and it was loud all night long. It is clear that this hotel gets a tremendous amount of traffic due to its proximity to Disneyland, so more attention needs to be paid to keep it from looking run down.
Since this trip was about spending more time at Disneyland and very little time in the hotel, I put up with some of the shortfalls that I wouldn't have if on a longer vacation. It's great if you have a family as the rooms are large with a pull out bed.
I stay at many Sheraton Hotels in both the luxury and regular collections and i would have to say that the physical condition of the rooms and hallways were below standard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JL28 Great hotel, view of fireworks right from our room!
This was our first visit to Disneyland and the Sheraton Anaheim was a great place to stay! Overall, the hotel is a bit dated, but they are working on that...we were offered an updated room, but declined it to be in one that was outside the garden area. The castle theme is fun and everything was great. Clean, quiet, HUGE rooms, comfortable beds and it was great to have a back door that went right out to the garden. We could view the fireworks right outside our back door by the gazebo every night! We only had breakfast once in the hotel, our last day. The food was great and not overpriced in comparison to others. It was about a 15-20 min. walk to the Downtown Disney entrance from the hotel (where you could catch the monorail), and a 5 min. shuttle ride to the main entrance. The shuttle service was fantastic and the drivers were nice and funny. At busy times you might have to wait a little, but they were always running extra shuttles then. It would be nice if they would staff an attendant to keep order during the busiest times...sometimes you could be one of the first waiting and not get on the first shuttle because people cut ahead. It was great to take a break midday from the parks and relax by the pool or take a nap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Grumpy Great staff and location to Disneyland
This hotel has become my wife and my favorite place to stay when visiting Disneyland. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They always greet you with "Good morning", etc and are always there to help. We love the the little store in the lobby and stock up on water and snacks before heading to the park. The shuttle service to and from Disneyland is awsome, leaving and picking up every 30 minutes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by brs10 Sheraton Anaheim
This property was a huge disappointment. The hotel is very run down and dated. The carpets in every hallway are worn and stained. The carpet in our room had stains and was very worn out. The faucet in the bathroom was chipped. The bathroom never felt spotless. The hallways and elevator smelled very musty and stale.
While the price point for the hotel seemed a value, the experience was too disappointing to return. Surely there are other hotels in the area that feel cleaner, and fresher for a decent rate. In addition, the front desk staff during the day seemed like they were bothered to be asked questions about check out or shuttles. I will say the night front desk staff was much friendlier and helpful.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sylidan01 The Worst Hotel @ Disneyland
You would think a hotel with the Sheraton name would be an excellent place to stay with your family. Unfortunately, this one is not and I would not recommend anyone stay here ever. The air conditioner was not working for several days and our room temps reached over 80 degrees. Having to open the window in the room just to bear the heat and listening to cars drive by all night. As you can imagine we did not get much sleep and we were awoken at 0800 by the maids trying to get in our room even though we had a do not disturb tag on our door. The bathroom over flowed in our room as well as our friends room. Maintenance was at our rooms more than we were. But the topper was that staff miss handled our billing and over charged us. After several phone calls to their accounting manger he assured me it was handled. Well after 5 months and many more phone calls our issue is still not taken care. Do yourself a favor, even if this hotel is the only open in the area, don’t stay here.

Rated 1 out of 5 by WHATISGOINGONSheraton SO DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!
I am so disappointed with our hotel stay. We recommended the Sheraton Anaheim and I reserved rooms for family members at this hotel instead of a competitor. We've stayed here numerous times before and had wonderful experiences. Not this time for the following reasons:
*Old trash behind our nightstand (I was looking for an electrical outlet). No biggie, I threw it away but that was my first greeting of the room.
*Family members who joined us a day later - rooms were not ready when stated. Children who had been at Disneyland were exhausted and ready for a nap.
*When I went to check who the clerk would be calling when rooms would be ready (literally 5 minutes later), the clerk said reservations had been cancelled. WHAT??
*When we tried to explain we had just checked in with the clerk not 5 feet away from him, the young man looked at us like we were from another planet. Meanwhile the clerk who had originally checked us in was having a conversation with a co-worker using colorful language. Stay classy Sheraton.
*Manager of rooms gets involved and says rooms were cancelled on December 5 which made no sense since HE checked me in the previous day and said I had to be present the next day for check in because of the AAA reservation special rate on the other 2 rooms. When he kept repeating the reservations had been cancelled I stated, "I confirmed the reservations with you last night when I checked in" to which he had no reply. I even provided the confirmation numbers.
*Get our rooms. Literally haul luggage and travel cribs, 2 year old exhausted twins to the second floor. Now our room keys don't work - neither key works! Housekeeping won't let us in. Use hall phone to call front desk. They send someone up to second floor to let us in.
*Go in room - neither light bulb on the night stand fixture works. Great.
*There was also a spider in its web found in the coffee maker. Yuk. Note to self - check coffee maker from now on for bugs.
*Gets better...in the second floor hotel room straight out of a Stephen King novel, a screeching pipe sounds off at 1:30 a.m. waking our family members. Remember there are twin 2 year olds in this room. The front desk could hear the high pitch sound over the phone. Another room was provided but my family had to be moved at 1:45 a.m.
*Let's get back to my room. From 10:45 p.m. to 11:15 p.m. we had to listen to a man vomit so violently next door it was making me sick. I finally called the front desk to see if they could offer him medical assistance or at some point move us to another room. The clerk said she would have to call us back. She called back and needed the specific room number which I provided. By this time the man was taking a shower - yup we could hear all this through the walls. He was thankfully silent through the rest of the night but we were greeted at 6:30 a.m. with the sound of him vomiting AGAIN. Yay. Love to spend $180.00 to listen to the sounds of vomiting. Great concert.
*Our family member who had to move rooms at 1:30 a.m. was comped her room. We were not comped our room. But I can promise you, I will take my business to the competitor the next time I am in Anaheim. I will also tell all my friends and family to AVOID Sheraton Anaheim. This is really sad because we have loved the Sheraton Anaheim and have stayed several times and told friends and family about it. I am going to retract my recommendations to them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by zapit In-person experience was great
the reservation experience was a disaster.
My families stay was suppose to be for 3 days. the first reservationist gave us a price and told us to check the email confirm, when we did it was for one nite. after calling again, new reservationist said we had to make a new reservation for the other 2 days... well after two more screw-ups and 4 more people we where stuck with price increases and offset reservations.
Then we got to the hotel ... it was a seamless and wonderful experience, the staff was great and room was very comfy.
But most of it was due to the welcome and efforts of Kris the desk manager. He understood our confusions and straightened our reservation out with a great price. THIS EMPLOYEE IS A KEEPER!!!

We decided to book this hotel based on it's location. It is so close to Disneyland that you could walk. However, thanks to their incredibly prompt shuttle you never have to. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very helpful staff that made us feel really welcome especially when we found out we had received a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful suite. The room was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. It was so well appointed that we ended up ordering room service both nights of our stay. Not only did dinner arrive hot and delicious it even arrived when promised. For after dinner entertainment we enjoyed the Disneyland Fireworks from the front entrance of the hotel. For our family this is the only hotel in Anaheim.juJ

I had booked a room with a special offer which was not met when I checked in. I ended up paying more than I should have. I received different info when I reserved my room from when I checked in. Desk clerk just said sorry. The room was way too hot, even after repair it never cooled down.
We found 5 carpet staples which we all stepped on thankfully no one was cut. When checking out we took them to the front desk, again the desk clerk just said sorry. We did like the free shuttle to Disneyland but was surprised that we had to pay $14 per night to park at the hotel.

I was impressed with this hotel. I love Starwood hotels and Sheraton happens to be one of my favorites. The hotel lobby is spacious, the business center is well kept, and the restaurant in the lobby is pretty good. I loved the package that I booked that provided free parking, internet, buffet for up to four and a shuttle to Disneyland. As for the room itself, it's extremely spacious, has a wonderful bed and the Starbucks complimentary coffee in the room is a bonus. Great staff, great amenities--I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next vacation.

We took our Great Graddaughter to Disneyland for the first time. This was a great experience for a 6 yr old and her first time staying at a hotel. She loved it and thought she was at Disneyland!!!!! Our stay could not have been more perfect!!!!
I do think the extra fees like $14 for parking is unreasonable especially since the room rate was higher because of the holiday.

My husband and I have been staying at the Sheraton Anaheim Hotel for years, and have been very disappointed lately in the quality of the hotel's condition as well as the service provided. At our most recent stay (10/6/12), the room was unclean. There were brown, liquid stains on the bathroom walls, long brown hairs stuck to the floor and walls, and the bathroom door itself did not close or lock properly - affording no privacy whatsoever. The air conditioning unit was broken, and - though an engineer checked it out - the unit was churning all night and the room never got cooler than 80 degrees. The window was dirty and knob broken off. In addition, it cost $17.00 to rent a movie in the room - very pricey in this economy.

When we arrived the front desk person told us that we were not Starwood members anymore because of inactivity on our account. Because I am a woman, I could not put points on our card because my husband wasn't traveling with me. She never offered for me to sign up and never smiled or tried to make it better. Then the bus to Disneyland didn't have windows that opened and the air conditioner was broken. It was about 100 degrees in the bus, really it was that hot. People were complaining and management didn't seem to care. They never returned my call. I've been going here for years and it is going downhill year after year. I will be finding another place to stay. I'm done with this facility. We had to pay for internet, parking, breakfast.
