This Sheraton is a pleasure to stay in while in NYC. It has a great location and is centarl to theatres and reatauants as well as close to Times Square. The staff is helpful.

Hotel has great location and knowledgeable staff. We were greeted graciously and when we needed anything was promptly responded to. Great hotel to stay at while in New York.

gold spg members get no real advantage since there are so many platinum members who go to this hotel

10 day stay. It is good hotel to stay if all you want is a room. Limited room service menu, limited restaurant choices. Questionable housekeeping practices.

The Gold & Platinum lane should be for Gold & Platinum members. It seems like every time I go to check out, I'm waiting in a hugely ridiculous line of people checking in.

this hotel met my expectations . rooms were clean and comfortable. However i find it rather odd that they charge 14.95 per day for wireless intrnet access in the rooms.

We spent Christmas in New york and this hotel was wonderful. One of the finest i've stayed in. The workers were very helpful and friendly. We will definately be back.

The rooms are quite big for NY, and the beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms need to be cleaned much better than they are and this seems to be a consistent issue.

Subway stop is a couple of blocks away so it is easy to go uptown to Lincoln Center or downtown to Broadway or further downtown to off-off-Broadway.

hotel is located in a very good location.
Staffs are all excellent and Friendly.
Never had any problem for the 15 years or so of my stay at this hotel time to time.

Have stayed here before. Nice hotel, busy, but manageable. Rooms are nice, clean and accommodative. Always a good experience here and the location is great.

the rooms are too small. there are too many rooms. the staff are overwhelmed by the volume of people they are servicing. some were even rude enough to demand tips.

The maid did not clean the glass that we had use and the room was very small for 3 people, bed was also very hard. Location was great.

Good location. Pillows were soft, almost too soft and they were all consistently soft. No hot tub or steam room. Room servoce good and speedy. Doorman attentive.

Room was too small, not excellent cleanness as expected from a Sheraton, swimming pool not in the building, not good buffet breakfast even though too expensive.

First of all, I want to preface this by pointing out some positives. I thought the hotel was beautifully re-done. It is hard to get a spacious room in NYC and I thought the rooms were great as well as the lobby, club room, etc. I also want to point out that the Chelsea from VIP Guest Services was EXTREMELY helpful as was Nicole who checked our group of 15 in. I thought "this is going to be an amazing stay". So NYC the weekend after Thanksgiving,we knew it would be busy and were ready to handle the crowds. The elevators at the Sheraton were not. I understand there can be mechanical problems with elevators, but there was nothing down and no communication on why the elevators weren't working. This is a very large hotel moving people up and down massive towers. People were stranded both in the elevators, lobby and floors for upwards of 45 minutes to an hour. There was no management letting people know what was going on and that was causing a lot of anxiety for the guests staying there. It was disappointing, but I did not let it ruin my trip. I think a little communication and crisis management would have been appreciated by all.

The Sheraton interior was very warm and welcoming. The front desk agent Lin was very affable. The concierge was also very friendly in pointing out directions.

Always a great place to stay. Gets crowded but lots of fun. Check in lines can be very long if you get in at the wrong time. This Sheraton is the place to be.

About 5 blocks from Times Square & 5 blocks from Central Park! Rooms were an ok size. Great deal using star points to stay in NY during a busy time for free!

Loved the hotel, but there were only a couple of elevators to my floor (17), which increased the wait every time I went up or down. Otherwise, great place.

first no one could find my reservation. then they booked me into a room but told me they could not change the rate at the desk to honor either the Sr rate or AAA rate that I had originally booked with as they cannot change rates at book in.
when we finally went to the room we found the room quiet small with only enough room to walk to the beds. This was not a huge issue but finding lipstick marks and other signs of the windows not being cleaned for some time was not a good sign. we left the shades open on the second morning thinking that they had not seen the marks only to come back to the room and find the windows still were not clean.
also upon checkout I had to dispute $40 worth of charges from the rooms mini bar.
The valet on check in told me not to let him park the car as it would save me money if I pulled it around myself. The desk cleark did not chearge the parking to the room so I asked the lot attendant if it was easier for me to return to the desk and have them charge the room. he told me it was the same price no matter what and that I owed 102 for the parking.
all in all not a hotel I will return to any time soon.

My husband and I stayed on the 36th floor. We had a view of 42nd street. However, the "plat de résistance" was the murphy bed that came down from the wall.
