Rated 4 out of 5 by Great pool and spa! Great location! The Sheraton Montreal is in the perfect location for events at the Bell Centre. The atmosphere in the lobby bar was perfect, as was the food and drink available, and the service was prompt even after a hockey game. We upgraded to get access to the Club lounge and it was worth it. The evening appetizers and the continental breakfasts were plentiful, and the staff were attentive. May 5, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best hotel in Montreal As a frequent traveler spending 100+ nights a year in Hotels, I always enjoy returning to The Centre Sheraton Montreal for i'ts great location, perfect amenities, and especially their professional, courteous and pleasant staff, from the Concierge, to the Front desk and yes,, even the parking attendants,, always a smile and communicate in English. Rated 2 out of 5 by Terrible Customer Service! The hotel is nice, conveniently located to the Bell Centre and downtown but I was so put off by the staff it's not even funny. I was in shock by the attitude of the front desk staff and will never return to this property. January 7, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Needs Improvment at Check in I think the staff should be more aware of Platinum benefits. Further the lady at check in did not understand the entire program and I considered her quite abrupt. I have stayed at a lot of hoitels around the world, including the sheraton centre montreal. This was the least enjoyment I have ever been subjected to thus far. October 21, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bad Communication If you have a customer support issue, don't expect a real response from this hotel. You will be disappointed. Apart from that, this is an average hotel. Note to the manager: even a 1 word "sorry" response from any employee that handles customer service inquiries would have been fine. I despise arrogance. August 6, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by poor customer relation No response to my email & letter 3 weeks ago to general manager re unsatisfactory stay at the hotel June 29-July1. Assured club floor room & did not get it. Air condi- tioning unit too loud preventing guest a good night sleep. Breakfast items at club lounge ran out fast and not replenished. July 25, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by good location extremly disapointed that the hotel did not inform us during the reservation process that the pool and health club were not open. they instead had a closet with a few tred mills and offered a club down the street that could be used. it effected our stay as we enjoy those ammenities. Rated 3 out of 5 by Great location Git dated although the rooms have been redone somewhat. The hvac for heating and cooling is almost impossible to control. Also the showers need an upgrade badly. They are not high enough even for an average person. The fitness Center is good spacious and lots of equipment. February 2, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Overall very good. Improvement needed on customer service What was good. 1. The room is clean. The Sealy bed is very comfortable. Room facilities (water bottles, coffee bags, bathroom kits) are provided promptly when ordered. 2. I was offered to a choice of another room with better views or with a living room since I had a long stay. What needs improvement 1. Project & Incident management - The internet service was upgraded in December, 2013. It was a complete bad project over the weekend: No fallback plan, No Plan B, Slow recovery (more than 2 days). I had the impression that the guests were not updated on the recovery process. I had to call many times and ended up complaining to the managers. 2. Laundry service - There were numerous times where I had to ask for the laundry sheet and the bag because they were not replaced. It was very inconvenient. (I had a long stay for 1 month). 3. Insufficient internal communication amongst staff - Many times after I declined housekeeping, the ladies still tried to come in and clean the room. And some occasions where two different staff try to bring the same things to me twice... My overall impression is very good, but the hotel feels under-staffed. I guess it would be understandable due to the expensive labor cost in North America. January 7, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Short but comfortable stay My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights while attending a martial arts competition. We didn't encounter any problem during our stay and had decent sleeps despite some minor noises from construction across the street. We paid extra for the club level access and found it convenient and worth the money. We didn't have time to use the pool so can't comment. We found the staff to be friendly and accommodating. We had to store 3 pieces of luggage on the day of check out for a few hours due to a later flight and had to pay $3/bag. This was a surprise since no other hotel I've stayed at had charged me before for this service. Other than that, it was a decent stay. February 17, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great location, excellent staff, beware of cigarette smells My wife and I always stay at the Sheraton when we visit friends and family in Montreal. However, we noticed that on our most recent stay there was a distinct odour of cigarettes in the bathroom. It was not so bad that we felt a need to change rooms, but it was annoying. The guest services staff immediately offered to change rooms when I described the problem (the offer was declined), and they also sent up a bellman to try to freshen the bathroom with a spray. I appreciated the honesty in the customer service rep's explanation: about limited ventilation in the hotel rooms. Also: the room did not have water bottles or coffee when we arrived... April 4, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Our Night in the Montreal Sewer We stayed at your hotel Thursday, January 24th. After a night out for dinner we returned to our room that had an overwhelming odor of sewage. We then checked the water to discover that it was a dark brown, after calling to report the issue and requesting some drinking water we closed the toilet and tried to seal off the bathroom but the stench was everywhere. After waiting 30 minutes for water I called the front desk again and received a very rude answer and was hung up on after attempting a rebuttal. My 3rd call 15 minutes later was to say that it was now midnight and ask that the water just be left outside as we were going to try and go to sleep in the sewage stench. Of course when the water arrived at 12:40 the delivery person banged on the door 3 separate times before leaving it outside...we then received a call from the front desk around 1:00 to confirm delivery. Even though we had clarified that we going to attempt to sleep in our sewer room. So, in general...we have had more pleasant stays at hostels in Turkey than at this 5 star in Montreal. If you have a sewage backup in the hotel I would not have the guts as a business to charge a guest to sleep in the disgusting stench that we had to sleep in...it was almost enough to make us vomit, but then we would have had to open the bathroom door to do that. Rated 3 out of 5 by All Club Room experiences should be the same All club room and lounge access privileges and amenities throughout the Sheraton system should offer guests the same quality experience. This is not the case in Montreal compared to Frankfurt where I stayed in March 2014. Frankfurt was much superior to Montreal in every way. April 28, 2014
