It is excellent located near one of the best zones of Manhattan, the staff attention is excellent from the front desk till the cleaners. the give you coffee machine in your room and 4 computers in the lobby for internet. It is sure that I am going back.

Reception didn't ask my about choice of welcome amenity. Besides access to the lounge (and the breakfast is....absolutely basic), there's nothing worth staying for the sake as a Plat. Will try other chain next time if I need to stay in Time Square area.

Have stayed in lots of NYC hotels but this was my first time here. Universally excellent experience. Staff consistently pleasant and helpful. Special praise to housekeeping staff on the 14th floor - they were a pleasure. Would definitely stay here again

My wife and accompanying friends were pleased with the hotel accommodations, especially the Starbucks coffee in our rooms. The location is great - close enough to midtown, yet far away from congestion. The food is pretty good also. Try the quesadillas.

this hotel makes me smile. busy, busy midtown nyc location, but professionally relaxed interior lobby and public spaces. the staff is courteous and caring. starbucks coffee in the rooms! lovely linens.
will continue to stay here on my trips to nyc.

Fantastic location - it is a small stroll up to Central Park and a brief walk to the heart of times Square - with plenty to see in between - and all those deli's, pastry shops and pizza places!!! you'll want and need to walk <smiles> the room size was larger than I expected, with a full bath, table with two chairs, awesome flat screen TV, but who really goes to NYC to watch TV?? plenty of room for one and enough for two ( I had the traditional king room) very clean, and the cleaning staff were extremely friendly and helpful. One of the best nights sleep too on a great bed. The Sheraton is my new favorite place to stay when in NYC and is very reasonably priced - close to the subway too (N/R lines) - but shop around and you'll come back to reserve here and NOT by one of those "discount" websites but direct worked far better - This hotel should be booked solid every night! P.S. I was NOT paid to write this recommendation... I did my homework and I am very fussy and a perfectionist - Thank you for providing a great hotel in a great city

Having stayed here before I was always impressed by the location, it's a busy hotel and you don't get the attenTion with bags etc but the hotel itself is very comfortable and the rooms are modern.
Club is first class and serves an excellenT breakfast.

The room was cozy but extremely clean and comfortable. I have stayed in other hotels in NYC where the beds are to hard, the bed comfortable. Slept like a baby eery night. The staff is stellar and very attentive to our needs. Will stay again:)

We really enjoyed our stay in NY and this hotel was in a perfect location. We were able to walk to most sites or easily catch a cab with the help of the doorman. Rooms were very comfortable. The only issue we had was poor water pressure in the shower.

The hotel is well situated, close to many museums, shopping and landmarks.
Our room, two double beds, was quite cramped. The small desk by the window was almost unusable. My experience, if you are Gold Elite, is that you receive a larger room.

I was very excited to stay at this hotel. Confirmed a room for a king size bed, for myself and finance to celebrate our engagement in NYC. We arrived around 5pm for check-in, and about 45 minutes later we were able to Valet the car, where I felt I was being herded like cattle.
After an extensive wait at the front desk, we were told that my confirmed King room would not be available until 10 PM due to an airline booking out a large number of rooms. This is absolutely outrageous, we needed to get ready for dinner so settled for a small two double bed room. My girl and I like to be close, but no two adults should have to share such a small bed, as there is no room to roll over without falling out of bed, which I did. I found the staff unsympathetic and very cold. Poor customer service.
I have stayed at other SPG hotels, including the Westin right down the street where the service was far superior and accommodating.
I was outraged and will never recommend this hotel, especially for the premium price during the holiday season. Beware, unless you like to be herded like cattle, then by all means, enjoy.

This hotel is comfortable and in a great location. They've put money into keeping it up, like the lobby area (open spaces), and good for people watching. While the rooms could use a facelift, still a fine option for NYC as it offers all the services.

I found the staff to be very courteous and helpful. The rooms were clean, the views were amazing and the upgrade to the Concierge Level was well worth the $50/day extra.
The hotel is very well located and most areas of the city are withi easy reach.

I stayed at this hotel just for a couple of nights, I asked the concierge for a recommendation for a restaurant where I could bring clients, they were spot on to my needs, overall the staff made everything possible to make my stay a pleasurable one.

I had an awesome time staying at the Sheraton NY Times Square this past weekend. It's in a great location and the rooms are great- very comfy beds. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and made ever effort to meet all my needs. One word- AWESOME !!

Very nice hotel in a very good location. It is VFM. However the only thing I would say that breakfast on club lounge should be much better because I am used in European club lounges and breakfast is far better than what was offered in this property

Customer service was very gracious enough to send me wine and cheese. It was a welcome surprise and greatly appreciated for my stay at the hotel. I had trouble with opening the wine and a gentlemen in housekeeping was kind enough to open it for me.

This is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! The room was a bit small, but very clean. We had problems with the toilet not flushing, but spoke with a building engineer who was able to fix it in a timely manner. Staff was very professional!

the room is larger than many in Manhattan.
It includes a sofa/daybed that an extra person could sleep on and a large desk/dresser unit.
The location is just 3 blocks from many subway stations and easy walking distance to Times Square and theaters.

Quick car valet and fast check in. Efficient and friendly staff to meet your needs. Elevators very fast and never a wait. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Great location for walking to theater, Lincoln Center, Moma and 5th ave. Enjoyed our stay.

I stay at this hotel once a month. Fantastic hotel with a Great location and very good staff both at reception as well as club lounge.
My only negative comment is the club lounge no longer has fresh fruits for breakfast. Bring them back please !

We really enjoyed our stay here. Edwin at the front desk was extremely helpful. He went out of his way to ensure we had a great stay. I have platinum status with SPG and they really made an effort to recognize that.

NY Waterways Ferry bus drops you off 2 blocks away, so easy trip from NJ. Friendly staff and pleasant room.

I was dissatisfied with my stay at the Sheraton New York. Big hotel with with good location but no customer and service minded staff. Had a good experience when booking the room via internet / reception but not with the service during the stay.

Pillowcases and towels had a sour smell, similar to what I've experienced in cheaper hotels. It was very off-putting, as I had to go through quite a few to find some that smelled fresh. Maybe your laundry should consider changing its detergent.

Disappointing. Twice I ordered room service and both times the prices charged on the bill were MORE than the in room menu. Overcharges ranged from $1 to $2 per item.
The first room service delivery was on time. The second was 15 minutes late.
