This was my second 1 night stay at the Petaluma Sheraton using my SPG points. I cannot complain about anything for either stay. This time the hotel was full, but we still got great service. There was not a room with a king size bed when I reserved but when I checked in, they found one. With a view at that. The evening wine tasting in the lobby was unexpected but enjoyable . I love this Sheraton.

We have always stayed here when visiting family in the Bay Area. Unfortunately you have priced us out with your room fees. $267.78 for one nights stay. We can afford it, but choose not to. Maybe the new Casino is both a curse and a blessing depending on perspectives. We hosted a party of 12 at the Tolay. At least the restaurant prices were still reasonable - for now anyway!

Overall, the hotel experience was great...our only comment was that our room never was cleaned. On Saturday, we were gone from early morning until 11:30 am. We then returned to the room, put a "do not disturb" sign on the door, until we left at 3:00 p.m. When we returned at 11:00 p.m., we saw our room had never been attended to. It was OK with us, but thought we should mention this to you.

We have stayed in many Sheratons in different places and found this one tops the list. Beautiful location and facilities. Greeted warmly by the desk person and later, though he was the one who also handled the coffee and snacks, took time with us to answer questions. He was courteous and pleasant. The greetings and courtesy were repeated by the a.m. clerk, the maid, and the workman we saw.

I made the trip to petaluma with my wife to see some wineries in sonoma county! When we walked in we were blown away by their beautiful lobby and such warm and friendly staff. Take advantage of the social hour offered in the cocktail lounge! Mark, in the restaurant was great! The Engineering staff was very friendly and helpful. Christian Recommended great wineries! Cant wait to come back!

Located within an hour or SFO, and less than half an hour from Sonoma. Right off the 101 highway for easy access. At the same time, the hotel is close to the water, so there is a relaxing marina feel to the area.
Almost each of the front desk staff I dealt with was courteous and pleasant. The fireplace in the lobby was warm and cozy.
Only suggestions would be that the hotel seems a little dated and could use a renovation at some point. Also, carpet cleaning could take place at off hours. Tolay restaurant needs a menu upgrade. Might also be a good idea for the hotel shop to carry some more wines/souvenirs from the wine valley region.
Club lounge was nice. Although, most Sheraton clubs I have been to around the world offer complimentary wine. I would imagine this would make the most sense here, especially given the proximity to a world renowned wine region.
All in all, very much an enjoyable stay.

This is my first time to stay at this hotel. It really surprise me that the its location is beautiful! I was upgraded to a room located on the edge of the building and can go out to the balcony to view outside. There is a trail outside of the hotel and it is very nice to run outside. The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable.
I will definitely come back and stay again!

This was our second stay in the past six months. We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel despite a "glitch" with our first room! We were given Room 275. It was constantly very noisy - sounded like a mechaical room was nearby. Jason, your desk clerk was wonderful. The next morning he changed our room assignment and all was well after that. Please investigate the Room 275 noise isue !!

We were quite pleased with our experience at the hotel and enjoyed the engaging staff and the comfort provided by the room and amenties. We rented a house for our stay and were only looking for the first night accommodation prior to our extended stay. After our experience we would not hesitate to return for a longer stay, or to recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

My wife and I have stayed at the Sheraton Sonoma County four or five times, and have thoroughly enjoyed each stay. The staff is friendly and attentive. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. We especially enjoy the food and the staff in the club lounge. We have always found the pool to be clean, though sometimes the towel basket is empty. We love staying at this hotel.

I recently stayed at the hotel for a conference in February. The staff seemed a little overwhelmed by the number of people the conference brought and were short staffed. Eating utensils and glasses were dirty and the hotel was intensely cold. These are very easy fixes, so I hope they make these few adjustments so they can give the outstanding service they are capable of.

We stay here often since many of our family live in the North Bay Area. We always feel welcome and the staff is so very accommodating. The rooms have always been neat and tidy and sparkling clean. There was just one issue that you may look into. The tub seems to be very slippery when you step in to shower. Could you have something to put on the floor of the tub?

One club chair.and a desk swivel chair for 2 people .means someone is on the bed....for a 3 day stay! We needed another chair, no ottoman...also being dead tired at the end of the day to sit up and watch some t.v....the remote seemed to need a new battery, unable to change stations w/o getting right up to the TV. Hallway consistently had debris/garbage visible

The service in the lounge was shoddy this trip. The usual older gentleman was not there and he was always very attentive. This time there were new younger people that were very lax in the cleanliness, the stocking of food, the interaction with guests... I also notice the chairs arms in the bar downstairs were a bit sticky. Have they ever cleaned them?

I always try to stay here when I'm in the area; great location and very comfy rooms.
This last time there were minor but irritating issues, like the remote for the TV not working. I asked housekeeping to replace it or the batteries; which didn't happen. So, I didn't get to watch any movies, which is my way to relax at night. Oh well, maybe next time.

Gorgeous view from our room was unexpected. Loved it!!
The batteries didn't work in the remote and after waiting about 40 minutes, I called to cancel. Next day when I mentioned it on checkout, they credited me with 500 SPG points - more than fair. : )
Only "bad" was linens were scratchy (which seems to be common at Sheraton's based on this trip.)

I think this hotel is overpriced. The rooms were fine but not for the price. The lounge was not worth the extra $30 if you are thinking of have a bite before dinner (poor quality and food sitting around for a long time)
Breakfast was better although barely. The breakfast staff in the lounge however were first class and made us very comfortable.

The restaurant was under staffed, only one server for our large group. We were setted at 8:00 and never got our breakfast until 9:10. The tour bus arrived at 9:15 so we could only
eat part of our breakfast. The employes tried calling the manager about the problem but he was always unavalable. You need a new restaurant manager.

It was pretty much what I would expect from a Sheraton hotel. There were two things that were not quite up to snuff - the spa was not working and there wasn't a sign on it. I called the front desk and they didn't know about it. The bed was so high that I had trouble gettin up on it. I'm average height so a shorter person would really have trouble.

I enjoyed my stay. A couple of problems that caught my eye.
The first I see in many lodging. The grout between the tiles in the bathroom and particularly the shower had mildew in it. That should be cleaned with an effective bleaching cleaner between every guest's stay.
The second was a less than robust WiFi. I was unable to get much work done.

the Sheraton Sonoma County is an oasis in the desert; our room had a view of the marina, services were amazing, reception staff were courteous and efficient, upgrading us to a better room even though we had made a last minute booking. We were disappointed we hadn't known about this hotel earlier as we would have made more use of the facilities.

My husband and I stayed here in March over a long weekend during the time the Artisan Cheese Festival was held. The hotel was very clean, the service excellent, and the Cheese Festival, which was awesome, was held in tents in the parking lot. It is a great spot from which to tour the wineries, also. We had a great trip and a great stay.

I was surprised how beautiful and how well maintained this hotel was because the rate was quite low compared to others in the area. Everything was Perfect. The room was perfect. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. The food was great and it was conveniently located right off off 101. This will be my hotel of choice in Petaluma!

The hotel is in great location and near many Sonoma Vineyards. The onsite restaurant is great. The staff went out of their way and offered excellent service to accommodate our needs. There is just one tiny thing: the linen has many stain marks which is something surprising for Sheraton. I would expect those linens will be replaced.

Room was very nice. Clean, comfortable especially the bed & pillows. Room was large and I had a view of the harbor. The staff was great. My only problem was the air conditioner was very noisy. I found the room to be stuffy & hot and each time the air conditioner turned on I was awake. This happenned several times during the night.

Yet another wonderfulk stay at the Petaluma Sheraton. Some new faces and all were excellent. Special requests were ready for me. Room was quiet and comfortable. Internet was faster BUT made we sign back in frequently. Because the sign-in opens on your current page you can lose work so save frequently. Tolay was excellent.

Great hotel overall. Clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Highly recommend the club level. Location is not ideal, about 45 minutes from the heart of Napa, and there is not much in the immediate area. However, drive to Napa is beautiful and for the quality and price this is a great option when visiting wine country.

Great place. BUT the restaurant opens at 6:30 AM with only one employee. I stood at entry for 6 minutes and never saw that employee. Assume he/she was in back working. Others joined the wait. Finally I left. This has happened twice. Please bring 2 employees on when you open. Otherwise, a great facility and great people.

Our room was clean. Our problems were broken in room safe and shower head could not be adjusted. Our friends put their green room tag out on their handle. There room was not cleaned or beds made. Thought the green tag meant not to change towels or sheets. Apparently it means not to make beds or refresh bottles of water.

I had a bad experience at dinner on Monday, 1-14-2013.
Only Sword Fish was available and no other fish. Also the soup was a Sword Fish soup.
Again on 1-17-2013 it was a Sword fish and no other fish. I had to settle for the Fish and chips.
Why there was no Salmon Halibut or Cat fish dishes available. I was disappointed.
