I forgot my daughter's blanket. I called within 2 hours of leaving the hotel to be put on hold, hung up on, and disrespected. I am 100% positive it is there. If it went through laundry, that is fine. However, it is my daughter's first blanket. It has a significance in our lives. To be laughed at, told I was going to get a call back and not, to have to call every day more than once in order to talk to someone is not acceptable.

Sheraton SLC is a nice hotel. From the outside, it doesn't look like much; however, inside, the rooms are newly renovated. The front desk, room service, and housekeeping staff have always been quite friendly, helpful, and attentive. I also like its central location downtown.
One of the few things that I feel like they could improve on is their level of SPG recognition. We rarely get room upgrades, even when the hotel is quite empty.

The person who checked me in did not do a good job. He totally messed up-terrible. Twice he gave me the wrong key and wrote the wrong room number down. He delayed me 30 minutes just being careless.However the woman working in the lounge on the 10th floor,Tina from Croatia, was the most pleasant and nicest person I have ever met in a Sheraton Lounge. Just wonderful! You have a gem with her. Keep her!

We rented two rooms for 5 nites and had adjoining rooms so we could have help with our baby (we are relocating from east coast to SLC). Room 146 had a major leak from the ceiling above in the bathroom two days in a row. My mother in law slipped on the water. The engineer came and said he would fix it so we stayed out of the room all day. Next day, same leak, no one bothered to fix it. THey had to change rooms. Tub didnt drain.

Stayed at hotel for a convention. The staff was great! Walking distance to a lot of places. The convention room was nice and there was ice water available. Was disappointed in the fact that our hotel balcony had a view of a cinderblock wall. Our other "surprise" was that the housekeeper pointed the showerhead at the towel rack at the back of the bath tub and twice we turned it on and soaked the towels and floor.

As a repeat guest (at least 10 to 15 nights per year) the hotel and staff meet my needs quite well. The staff was very attentive and made me feel at home. The rooms having been renovated a few years ago are holding up well and the bar area is quaint with good food at a fair price. JB at the front desk went out of her way in assisting me with a reservation adjustment that I have not seen at any other hotel that I have been to!

The staff was nice enough, but as a loyal SPG Gold member I felt this property beneath the Sheraton brand standards. My room was big but not fully cleaned. Hair in the bathroom, stained (but likely clean) sheets, strange smell, no shampoo, clogged shower drain, and atrocious energy saving lighting in room. Wireless Internet was basically unusable. I will sadly not return.

This is a nice hotel right in the heart of Downtown SLC. Like many Sheraton's this is an older hotel that has had a nice remodel.
The hotel has always recognized my Platinum status with a suite or club floor upgrade.
They have an outdoor pool which is usable in the winter and their indoor hot tub was to crowded to get into. I guess all of the people come of off the ski slopes and want to relax in an undersized hot tub.

this is an average full service hotel. Due to its size, it's difficult for the staff to really get to know you. they were very responsive to my needs, even if they were'nt able to fix them. In my instance, the TV reception in my room were very weak, to the point that many channels were unviewable. I was offered to move to a different room, which I declined. There was no attempt to have the reception in the room fixed.

For a King Suite room, I was less than impressed. 2 story, no bath on 1st floor. Handicap shower where heads only came to shoulders, King bed was sagging very badly in the middle. Only one remote for 2 tvs, until I found the second remote under the sofa bed. For the xtra $$ I paid, completely not worth it. On the other hand, the VIP lounge that came with the Suite was very nice, good food, great service.

Stayed in loft room which was really clean. Staff was excellent and friendly. Only complaint would be that there were little things that got overlooked in the room. Square light falling out of ceiling, another light that was the only light over table burned out, some square panel over by porch door not put in very tight and falling out as. Again these were little things but still things that could be improved on.

My husband and i stayed at this property twice in a week's time. The second time we checked in, we were greeted by a very rude person at the front desk. She proceeded to give us a room that someone was already in. My husband and I walked in on a woman in bed and scared her half to death. When I called the front desk to tell her, she said, " I don't have anyone in my system staying in that room..." Ridiculous, as we told her we walked in on this woman....She kept me on hold for almost 15 minutes until my husband went to the front desk and asked for the manager..they moved us to a terribly loud room right next to the staff supply room...All in all it was a terrible experience on top of an already stressful visit to Utah based on the weather...ALso, they did a terrible job of keeping the front walk way shoveled from the snow...I fell flat on my face on the way out...UGH....

Overall it was great but the room service menu was not as great as the other menu that I saw in June. The variety was not that great for non meat offers. I think you should offer more turkey or non meat sandwiches. Just my opinion on what I saw and the changes you did to your menu. Other then that the room was great and the maid was very awesome. Thanks :)

Dull exterior in a dull and somewhat unsavory neighborhood. Motels and fast food joints surround the property and this just isn't the best part of downtown SLC.
Rooms have been remodeled and are fresh and bright.
I was told on check-in that their system indicated I had been sent an envelope and that they would find it for me. I had to remind them before leaving to try and do that. The front desk rep gave a cursory search to the front desk area, shrugged his shoulders, said he couldn't find it, and would "continue to look." I checked in again, no luck. Bottom line, I had been sent a piece of date-sensitive mail and never received it.
As a Platinum SPG member I wasn't told about included amenities (e.g. club). Although I was on a club floor, there was no mention of it in the room's literature. I had to search this out on my own. No real recognition of SPG status on check in.

stayed for a weekend wedding, location is good downtown, staff was excellent...from front desk to valets to bar staff.
room was ok, did not have any luggage racks nor makeup mirrors, bed was comfortable but sheets were loose (too big)
ice maker in hall leaked throughout stay so carpet in hall was always wet
I have to admit I never asked for a luggage rack but did ask other guests, some had them, some did not

After a long day of flight travel I spent a very pleasant and relaxing evening at the Salt Lake City Sheraton. From airport pick-up, hotel check-in, fine dining and a delightful room my entire experience was just what I needed at the end of my day. Slept 11 hours very well in the comfortable and quiet room. I would definitely return for another future stay.
Everyone on staff was most gracious. Thank you.

Chose this hotel for a few reasons.
1) Free airport shuttle service
2) Close to University of Utah.
I called before we left for our trip to hotel and they said for the shuttle service, once you land and receive your baggage give us a call and we will head to pick you up.
Once we landed, we called because we had no baggage to wait for. The lady told us it would be 20 minutes, and head to door #10 and wait.
We went to door #10 and after 50 minutes of waiting we called the hotel again. They completely forgot about us. So they dispatched a driver and they came to pick us up. We waited an hour and 15 minutes for the shuttle.
Once at the hotel, there wasn't a single apology or is there anything we can do for you which I thought was a little rude.
We went to Extra Innings Lounge which is a bar and place to eat. However, the food in there was not bar food. It was pricey food that shouldn't be served in a bar. When in a bar I expect sandwiches and fish and chips. Not fancy mac n cheese and chicken plates. Dinner for 2, without alcohol, appetizers or dessert was $50. Now I see why the place was empty and we were the only ones in there.
The rooms were good size, and the hotel was close to the University, Temple Square, and City Creek which was nice.
I just expected more from The Sheraton and it didn't happen.

We arrived on Tuesday 9/17 at 8:30PM after flying all day to find out they had no rooms available. Now let me point out I had made 2 reservations one for a single room and one for double occupancy on 8/28 and confirmed them on 9/17 before flying out (at 9:49 am Eastern Time) So they inform myself and 3 others in our conference they had no rooms and shuttled us to a hotel 15 minutes away. Now to give them credit they did cover the room cost for that hotel. The next day after our meetings we are told they only had 2 single rooms. When I asked the young lady at the desk she said "That's what you reserved I have it here on my screen" What is ironic is when we reserved the rooms and when I confirmed them I had the person repeat back to me that they were a single and a double room. The shame of it is the other employees namely a Mr. Aaron M went out of their way to give us exceptional service. And just to top it off when I tweeted about my bad experience someone from Sheraton picked it up right away and said a "management would follow up". Im still waiting........

I pre booked the room . I was not able to check in for hours. I specified how many guests . The second bed was not made . The was no elevator s on the wing we stayed in, which is not family friendly. There was also a huge wet spot in the middle of the room. We didn't complain because we where afraid that there was not going to be another room available. Although customer service was excellent.

Front desk staff disorganized and unfriendly to say the least. Example: No one noticed that panhandlers were coming into the hotel. When reported, no action was taken. The food was absolutely terrible. Example: Omelets were overcooked. "Hot" cereal from the buffet was cold. Banquet chicken so hard you couldn't cut it with an ordinary knife.

We have stayed at a number of Westin Hotels and the Sheraton in SLC came up to standard in most areas. The lo9cation to the airport and city centre we found acceptable plus the hotel has a courtesy bus service. Our only minor quibles would be that the bathroom lacked a fan and the room did not have a safe (although the hotel does provide this service at reception) we would use theis hotel again.

Hotel staff needs to clean behind tv cabinets and bed. I couldn't find an outlet nor open the outlet piece on the desk so I looked behind the TV unit and there was an empty cup there. Then I looked for an outlet behind the bed and it was very dusty and had a ton of pillow feathers. It's all in the details and cleaning all parts of the room is important. Please also make outlets more accessable.

My company has used this hotel for business meetings for years. They've never failed to provide for all our needs, resolve issues quickly, and exceed expectations. Ample parking, close to great restaurants, My room was marvelous. Comfortable and useful! Built in Starbucks, nice spaces to hang out in the lobby, and even the gift shop prices on stuff like water are reasonable. Pleasant stay!!

I'm my stay there the restaurant staff was very rude and almost never check on my table. Also my wife gets sick from using down bedding, so we called and said we needed it changed in our room from down. The person that came up didn't speak English very well and it took over 2 hours for him to get it right and get the right bedding so that me and my wife could sleep which is unacceptable.

My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton on our wedding night. It was a wonderful stay back so many years ago. We have continued the tradition to stay at the Salt Lake Sheraton several times since and thoroughly enjoy the quiet peaceful atmosphere. Such quality is appreciated.
The staff is very accomodating and always make us feel welcome. This hotel is one of Salt Lake's hidden treasures!

love the staff but was placed in rm 151... artic air pouring in around the un-insulated sliding glass door; and the heater was so loud it was impossible to sleep. Transferred up to rm 302; heater somewhat less noisy but i had to set it on 78 degrees, and it would take hours to get the room temperature to 69 degrees. seems the hotel is ready for some significant upgrades in efficiency...

I've stayed at the SLC Sheraton in the past and the ammenities offered to gold club members have changed. When I asked for an upgrade and access to the gold room I was told it wasn't available to me. No explanation. Bathroom had mold in shower and old toothpaste on sink area. No linens for the hide-a-bed. View was a brick wall. The overall experience was far below Sheraton standards.
