This is an excellent hotel for overnight stays when travelling through Heathrow. The restaurant is very good as is the service and the rooms are very comfortable.
Local airport bus services are frequent if rather over-priced; a taxi would probably be cheaper and quicker for parties of three or more.
My only gripe is the disparity between Wireless Data (WiFi) access in the hotel's public areas (almost free) and the hugely expensive rates charged in the rooms.
With business emphasis on cost management I have always encouraged employees to minimise their cellular data usage particularly when roaming.
Ironically the Sheraton WiFi rates exceed many readily available roaming cellular data bundles / packages which makes it unviable to most business travellers and an uninviting prospect to everyone else.

As an American business person, I am used to SPG hotel experience. I was not pleased to learn that the "free" Sheraton shuttle from airport to hotel cost almost $10 each way. It was a pain b/c I did not have Pouds with me. I had to go to info desk, could not pay with credit card. Had to get Pounds. Plus, had to wait long time for "free" bus. Not a great start!

The rooms are not soundproof and the A/C Unit refused to cool the room. If these problems are fixed, this would be a great hotel.

The hotel is dirty, I had mould on my window, the carpet is worn out, rucked up in my room, Aircon not working as the outside temp not cool enough, although my room was hot.
Light fitting hanging out of the ceiling.

Stayed here for one overnight catching early flight to Heathrow. Facilities renovated and cleaner than previous. If hotel is on sale (60 pounds), this can make a for an economical overnight stay before or after a Heathrow flight. Nice club lounge if you have access starting at 630a. No complimentary shuttle however (perhaps a future consideration?) Instead you can take a 4.5 pound public bus that makes several stops before/after the hotel. Or a 12 pound taxi ride directly that takes about 8 minutes. Your choice. Good luck!

I stayed one night after arriving at Heathrow prior to a week long visit to London. As a Platinum member I was upgraded to an executive room with club access. The room is a basic business room but the club access is definitely a benefit with appetizers and drinks provided in the evening. As I was staying over the weekend, the breakfast was provided in the restaurant and included full English buffet (bacon, sausage, egg, and continental meats and cheeses, cereal, etc.). Nice bar scene on an evening too. East access via the Heathrow Hopper bus. Also, if you fancy a pint walk about 0.5 miles to the White Horse pub for some excellent local beers and friendly chatter.

It is likely that a lot of your guests are non-UK residents so they likely have foreign phones with no data roaming so they are dependent on wi-fi in the hotel. You choose to charge for room wi-fi which is your choice but I feel that the Link wi-fi in the lobby should not have 1 hr in a 24 hr period restriction. I used it for 15 mins one evening and it would not let me back on the next morning. I am not sure if this is new or not but I do not remember this 1 hr restriction when I have stayed at the hotel in the past.

Spg gold member and booked this hotel for one night since near heathrow airport and had early flight. When checking in no recognition of spg status, had to ask about free wifi, etc..
Given noisy room where you can hear everyone in the hallway and tv blasting in the next room.
Most concerning, around 10pm another guest was entering my room with a key given when they checked in to them for the same room. Luckily I was in the room or all my personal items could have been taken. Obviously it was a mistake by the front desk, but no call from front desk explaining or checking on me. I called front desk to find out what's going on. They said, sorry it was very busy and they made a mistake, said manager would call me. Still waiting for that call. It's concerning if something like this could happen!

The reception staff are friendly and they seem more comfortable in their surroundings. Daniela’s attention to detail and helpfulness was excellent.
In the bedrooms there have been problems with the heating which cannot be reduced sufficiently and water with the cold coming out hot and these seem to have been resolved.
The bar is dominated by the television screens and the related noise so there should be a quieter place to drink and to eat bar food if a guest does not want to endure the television.

Hotel was very nice we stayed before flying to Australia and stayed club level room was very nice I had pizza in discovery bar bar staff and waiters very friendly and amazingly helpful reception staff less so which was a shame sleep was horrendous we just got to sleep when a dog staying started to bark very loudly waking us up then for the rest of the night doors slamming all through the night trollies being wheeled around till early hours we ended up with around 3 hours sleep which was far from ideal when we had a twenty hour flight to contend with even though I was unhappy and the review seems a poor one the plus sides were the very friendly staff who are probably on poor wages but somehow keep a happy smile and friendly helpful approach to there jobs well done and the room was lovely maybe we were just unlucky so don't be put off we would certainly give it another go

A decent hotel. Clean, great staff. But for a business hotel close to the airport, marketing to business travelers and meetings, charging so much for internet access is outdated at best.

I was very impressed with this airport hotel, I had a good night sleep in a comfortable bed and didn't hear any airport noise at all. It well worth joining Starwood preferred guest card before checking in, as you will get a room on floor 3 with complementary bottled water in your room and invited to tea and coffee in lounge in afternoon, well worth it at no extra cost. I did think the price of a glass of wine I the bar was a bit pricey at 8.75 but it was nice

If it had not been for the staff, who were so helpfull and friendly, i would have left the hotel immediately after checking in:
- Hotel is Old, not renovation for so many years except the lobby
-rooms are so Hot: there is a MAJOR air conditionning problem in the hotel which has been adressed for so many years. Air con does not work, also the wifi signal is unexistent despite a 20usd daily charge.
-staff are extremely helpfull and responsive and my problems were adressed within 15 minutes.
-I was invited to the lounge for a cocktail and again it is old, runned down and food was cold ( cold sausages and mash) but great staff again.
-If you plan a trip to Heathrow, do not book the Sheraton until it has undergone a major renovation, or you will be disappointed

I really think this is one of the best Heathrow airport hotels. You cannot beet the valve they have a new front lobby very appealing there rooms are clean and fresh amenities are very good.
The staff are polite and helpful.

It is a Sheraton right? When did the Sheraton brand become so outdated?
I understanding there are hotels that are just in old buildings. I can forgive the old decor, the old lifts and even the old wooden furnishing, however there must be improvements soon for this hotel to complete with the many others more updated and comfortable hotels around Heathrow.
Firstly, when I arrived the reception had no smiles. All the way through my check in process he 'said' the right things but did not show that he meant them.
The only thing he did right was to recognise my SPG member level, but even that sounded like he was really reluctant to provide me my membership perks.
The room was super disappointing. Was room 309 REALLY a Club Room? Had I paid for a Club Room and somehow got a cheaper room instead? From what I can tell the Club Rooms and the Standard Rooms aren't really that much difference, and to be honest the club lounge isn't all that comfortable either (compared to Sheraton in Sydney for example).
Breakfast was ok, however dinner was awful, The spaghetti bolognaise was too salty, tasted like they had accidentally used soya sauce instead of tomatoes in the sauce. The pork chops were bland, and was nothing special for meals served in a Sheraton.
So unfortunately I cannot recommend this hotel. I believe there is another Sheraton in Heathrow, haven't tried it so can't say how it compares, can't be this bad right?

A very nice rehab was done a couple of years ago to the public areas -- clean, fresh, relaxing, attractive. Staff were very kind and thoughtful, in spite of endless lines of checkins. I stay here each time I have an early morning flight, so obviously I think it's a fine airport hotel. My only concern this time was that on a warm April weekend, my room faced West and got very warm in the afternoon into evening. Since the hotel had only its heating on, it was not possible to cool down the room and thus hard to sleep. This is not uncommon in hotels -- why don't they leave the A/C on all year, so one can choose one's room temperature as needed?

1; Good to see the buffet back.
2 .We had a room at the back - pleasant to look out over the fields, but is it not possible to put the rubbish skip out of sight, or at least close the lid?
3. As I always comment, cannot we not have proper English cider, preferably on tap, rather than that Irish stuff.?

First, we were given a key to an occupied room & walked in on a semi-naked guest, embarrassing for all of us.
Second, we ordered some plates & flatware from room service & the person who delivered would not let us sign or charge which was a problem as we were flying to France the next morning & had no English pounds left. He was rude & unhelpful.
The one exception was the Concierge, Mikel, who was very helpful & ordered a taxi for us as well as providing information about returning our rental car.

Hair in the shower, dusty, tired hallways, very basic furnishings, constant noise in hallways and inadequate sound proofing. The room was stuffy and the air conditioning didn't work sufficiently to cool it down, so we had to open the window. Wifi was an additional charge, as was parking on site. We won't stay at this hotel again.

This Hotel is located near the London Heathrow airport and the Airport Authority buses called the Hoppa bus, operates to and from the Hotel and the airport terminals, which makes it easier and convenient to travelers from abroad. The Hotel is also beautiful and spacious and provides many conveniences such as room service dining and other facilities. It would have been very helpful, if free Wi-Fi service was offered in the room, as well.

We stayed at this hotel for an overnight transit and were immediately put off by the dampness of the corridors and the room. All our experience was average (from the wait time at the restaurant to the conceirge service), except once the food arrived, it was good - may be we were too hungry after a nine hour flight!
