Willing to accomidate my requests in a polite and professional manner regardless what time I check in. Excellent gym facilites, good selection of machines, weights and enough so always avaialble during peak periods such as the morning and evenings September 9, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice hotel! We enjoyed our stay and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent. We were disappointed the the SPG club lounge was closed for maintainance. We always enjoy using the lounge and will check next time before we stay at a Starwood Hotel. Also the outdoor pool had a lot a debris and was not cleaned during our stay. We used the indoor pool instead. June 7, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by A pleasant home away from home. I have stayed here many times and will always come back when I am in the area. The facility is welcoming and the staff friendly. There are many areas of the hotel arranged as you would your home with chairs arranged for private conversations and small nooks where you can work privately without being stuck in your room. The bar and restaurant are outstanding. October 13, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good stay one time bad stay the next First stay was shocking. No heat for the first two nights, entrance door to were our room was tore up. Propped open with an astray the first night and a piece of furniture the next. Huge stains in the carpet were the refrigerator had leaked. We were told to park around back but had no way in due to the door, we had to walk all the way around to the front and come all the way down the hall to get to the room. When the Internet did work in the lobby it was very fast. Told front desk all these problems nothing came if it. Even seen maintance guy in the hall and told him, still nothing! The 3rd night someone did come check the heat. He put a temp gauge up to vent seen it read 58, opened the vent stuck his hand up in it, shut it and said it was fixed. BUT GREAT experience in the breakfast lounge. The guy that served us was excellent. Good manners, very polite. He made me feel welcomed. The bartender in the resturant was GREAT!! Rated 4 out of 5 by Overall good experience Housekeeping was kind of below par, room wasn't cleaned all that well and the coffee supplies were not refilled. The person at the front desk when I originally tried to check in was rude and short, saying that there were no rooms ready, even thought it was after 3pm. I would stay at this hotel more but this hotel does not have tv channel MSNBC. I have requested this channel many times. Unfortunately, because this hotel does not have this channel, I don't stay at this hotel much. Most Starwood Hotels have this channel. October 22, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Far exceeded our expectations: fabulous amenities We were super pleased with EVERYTHING. All the packages/specials are incredible. We took advantage of the Birth Year Special and couldn't believe the deal we got! Awesome modern spacious room, indoor and outdoor pools, really nice fitness center, Starbucks coffee bar, on-site dining options and very pet friendly. We will be back! August 8, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by ice maker I would recommend when making reservation that you want a room away from the ICE MACHINE AND ELEVATORS! The last time I stayed there, my room was right next to the ice machine and as you can imagine, I did not have good night sleep to say the least. Also I wish that the heating and cooling system was much more quiet!!!!!!!!! May 12, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Feature I enjoyed I enjoyed the auditorium seating for the classes that were held there. However, the location of the meeting spaces seemed to be a long way from the rooms. Some who had walking disabilites were having a hard time getting from one place to another. An elevator near the meeting rooms would be helpful, not the individual lift. November 9, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Noisy Room A nice facility hampered by unacceptable mechanical systems noises in my room, Room 434. HVAC dampers slamming shut and water hammer of pipes would have made anything other than a heavy sleeper think that they were in a haunted house. Just way too noisy. And why in the world would one want to pay for in house internet? November 10, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Average Comfort Lobby hallways etc, no air conditioning -- rather hot, uncomfortable. Room was ok; bathroom is very small. Clearance to close the door was only about an inch between toilet and door. Had a nice ouside and inside pool, which was appreciated with the hot weather! We liked the breakfast; lunch was also good (at Shula's). July 10, 2012

The hotel staff were courteous and extremly helpful we also ate at Shula's 347 the staff was exceptional and the food and drinks were delicious. Kris the Assistant Manager and his team that night were great. I would reccommend anyone to stay there. November 7, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by security and maintenance Door safety bar was broken. I reported it soon after check-in but it was never fixed. Since I don't trust the electronic key locks even when the inside latch is turned, I kept the desk chair propped against the door. The floor lamp near the club chair did not work and a light was out over the sink vanity. October 10, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by An Unexpected Pleasure It was the nicest stay on our trip from Baltimore to San Antonio. Loved Shulas"s for dinner, and your wonderful chef-prepared omellets for breakfast. Had a wonderful night's sleep, thanks to your super comfortable beds. We might return to Roanoke just to experience another night at your hotel. Crosby & Angela August 27, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by this hotel was very clean even though our stay was short at the Sheraton in Roanoke, it met and exceeded all our expectations. Everyone one was friendly when we asked questions, room was very clean, beds very comfortable. We were not able to take advantage of the spa, fitness center or pool, but those facilities looked very inviting. September 13, 2012

There were a few issues which could have been improved upon, such as a very noisy air condtioning system in the room, poor elevator service to this area, and a non-functioning, untstaffed club room. Rated 5 out of 5 by Sheraton Roanoke We have stayed at this hotel several times and enjoy staying there. The hotel is great and the staff is very friendly and go out of their way to help. The Sheraton Roanoke has a great pet policy and not only do they have this policy, they go out of their to make people travelling with pets feel at home. December 25, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by housekeeping Just some poor housekeeping, lot of dust on the table lamps , bathroon door was full of dust. shelves under the sink was very dusty where the hair dryer was kept. Also one would expect atleast a bottle of drinking water kept in the room. Its not that much to ask if u stay ina hotel like yours i guess! February 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Above and Beyond What set this hotel apart was its people. From the front desk to the ladies behind the cleaning carts, my wife and I felt welcomed. We especially want to mention Doris & Angelic & Glenford & Xavier as those who went above and beyond the expected, and made our stay so pleasant. We will book here again! August 21, 2012

The toiletries provided are also of fine quality. The size of the room is spacious. The flat screen is a nice size. Room service is great and speedy. The staff is very responsive if I have a need. I attend several conferences every year and this has been my best experience in years with the staff and the food. The service was wonderful. Rated 3 out of 5 by Ask to pay for suite upgrade When checked in, the staff asked if I want to pay $100 to get upgrade to a suite, since of the platinum status. I was shocked and refused. Later at night, The manager left a message on my phone saying there's no more suite available, so they can't upgrade me. thank you for leaving me this message. September 30, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by No heat woke up to 50 degree room Stayed here for a getaway night for my husband and I. Arrived to a very cold room. We thought the air was on so we turned it up to 80 to warm it quick. Went to bed soon after arrival because too cold to do anything else . Woke up around 12 am freezing still. Called the front desk with no answer. Woke up every hour I would say cold and uncomfortable. Called the front desk again around 830 just ready to get out of here with no shower obviously I know this room was around 50 degrees. Was offered $25 refunded or free breakfast. I asked for the corporate number and called them . I've yet to hear from them three days later . The hotel called back and offered $25 more back. I was still I satisfied and he took off another $25 and says he sent me an email for a future stay which I have not received. So in the end I paid $80 for a room with no heat still not happy. If anyone knew at checking they were paying even $80 for a room with no heat they wouldn't checkin. Very unhappy with the customer service. October 24, 2012

My wife and I have stayed at the Sheraton Roanoke several times now, and each time we were delighted with the accommodations, the service and the beauty of the hotel's surrounding campus. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Staff especially in Shula's The staff greeting at checkin was very friendly. However, the staff at the bar in Shula's was exceptional. Chris (the GM) was especially welcoming to our group including giving us complimentary Bloody Mary mix since we could not stay for the buffet. Very enjoyable time there! October 14, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Business vs Pleasure Room was very comfortable and roomy. Free wifi or internet not available in rooms even if a member of SPG. This makes this hotel difficult for business travel. I would definitely recommend this hotel for pleasure/personal travel and business if you don't need to access the internet. August 5, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by one night stay While I really only slept at the hotel while traveling over1400 miles, the hotel exceeded my expectations particularly because it only cost 3000 points. I was concerned that the hotel was going to be pretty bad. To my surprise it was excellent. I would stay again for a longer stay. August 22, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Hotel in Roanoke My daughter and I had a very pleasant stay at the Sheraton Roanoke. The hotel was very easy to find off I-81 and offered free parking. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable and we had a restful nights sleep! September 3, 2012
