Rated 5 out of 5 by Staff willing to move barriers to help you - Awesome I recently organized a team conference at this facility and from beginning to end everything was executed flawlessly. Donna worked with me to put the package together, and she was terrific to work with, responsive and thorough. She exceeded my expectations and ensured that the team felt welcomed and had everything they needed. Rosario at the front desk also gets honourable mention. Rosario was willing to physically move the barriers in the parking lot to allow me access to park (I declined her offer, but was impressed that she would go to this extent). Mustafa did a great job at the team dinner and he managed to serve a group of almost 20 people very efficiently, while taking pictures as well. Well done. The staff in the AV and catering also were good to work with. Throughout the day I saw them responding to specific requests and how attentive they were to everyone. Donna, Rosario, AV, and catering guys, thank you all for your great service and can't wait till the next conference to see you again (if Donna will let me back in). :) April 9, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent performance I am not well with cancer and had to take to take an afternoon sleep to catch up on the meeting process with friends meeting at the airport. Delay until 4 pm is the longest time we have been handled ever. Thank you. April 2, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent accommodation We always overnight at the Sheraton Gateway traveling between the Caribbean and Vancouver. Not only is it a first class hotel but, being situated inside Terminal 3, means that we can travel with no winter clothes. April 28, 2012

Rated 1 out of 5 by Wouldn't stay here again Hate being nickle and dimed. Found out that my room rate didn't include free internet access after I checked in. In this day and age I'd rather have that than free tv. Also one reading light was out. May 1, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Time to spruce things up We have been using this facility consistently for years obviously for the convenience to the airport. On recent visits I have noticed on the room floors a musty smell, tired appearance in the common areas. In the rooms we have stayed in the carpets have been stained, lampshades cracked and broken and switches not working. The beds are great, linens clean and fresh. An overall feeling of being rundown and neglected. May 7, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by woken up by housekeeping staff Room service overpriced. 2 Clubhouses and a kids grilled cheese and fries with 2 coke and 3 milk = $92 not including tip. Which was almost the same price as our room. Unsat. August 11, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Accessible, Clean, Friendly staff This hotel is connected to the airport in Toronto it is wheelchair accessible, clean and has everything you need for an overnight stay or more if you are there for meetings. Its location is exceptional. The staff are courteous, friendly and responsive. Rooms are large, clean and quiet. The beds are very comfortable. Overall excellent place to rest after a long day of travel. May 7, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Hotel convenient All things considered, this a great place to stay before heading off to the airport. There are two concerns however. We needed to change our room because of the noise produced by the monorail. They accommodated us right away They still charge for the use of the internet and this is annoying as most hotels no longer do this. It feels like a cash grab. May 7, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bar staff are GREAT!!!! The serving staff in the bar/lounge are exceptional. On two seperate stays we were served by two older gentlemen who provided great service. Younger serving staff should take note of this level of service. May 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Convienent - clean - comfortable As always I enjoy the convienece of being able to wheel with my luggage right into my room and out again the next day - no waiting for a shuttle to pick me up, with no need to worry if I havethe right clothes to brave the cold - no going outside. Rated 2 out of 5 by In a hurry for Housekeeping We stayed at this hotel on Friday September 20th. Looking forward to having a nice sleep in before our drive to Ottawa the next morning we were awakened by someone from house keeping at 7:30AM wanting to clean our room. In a half awake state we polietely told them to come back later. Well - 45 minutes later they were back again. once again we told them to come back later. unable to sleep at this point in time we then phoned the front desk who apologized for our trouble and promised us some extra starwood points for our troubles. As of this point in time I have not seen any additional points added to my account -- very disappontined with this stay...... September 24, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Not Up to Starwood Standard - Tired - Smelly This hotel is very tired; worn,smelly carpets and no windows - I always end up with a headache when I stay there. Minimal convenience, no shower caps or toiletries just soap. If it was not at the airport, I would not stay there. During my last stay there, my colleague and I were having breakfast in the restaurant and a mouse ran across the floor. Although convenient, this hotel needs a major overhaul. Staff is accommodating. I travel extensively and this hotel does not live up to Starwood standard. April 17, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 Some issues at this hotel I flew in from Vancouver and stayed in November 2013. I hung my room service order on my door around midnight. The next morning a cleaning person tried to enter my room at 0700, quickly after barely knocking but loudly shouting. Thank goodness I had the deadbolt on the door. I got up to look for my room service and it did not arrive (the card was taken from my door but no food showed up). I called to advise the staff and got a simple "sorry about that" as I had to leave to catch my flight back to Vancouver. Good location for in and out of Toronto but staff needs customer service improvement. I meant to write the manager about this as I was disappointed in my stay. December 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by GREAT HOTEL AND STAFF I was very impressed when this hotel held our room without giving it away. Let me explain all flights were either delayed or cancelled and I'm sure they could have sold our room a hundred times. We were to arrive late 21:30 however due to a delayed flight arrived to the hotel at 02:30. There was a line up a mile long and all I heard on my way to the desk is I'm sorry we are sold out. I was very concerned that they may have given my room away however it was waiting for us. The facility met every one of our needs as well the staff also were very polite and helpful. Great experience with the hotel and will stay there again!! February 23, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointed by the small things We stayed in the hotel 2 nights ago and it was fine. We flew from terminal 1 and the train wasnt working so had to catch a bus. Its sort of the point of paying to be at the hotel... being right in the airport so travelling with 3 very small children and all the trappings means it would have been nice if they told us in advance. Then there was very cheap looking, very small, bottled water sitting on the side which got consumed - no note or anything next to it until we got the bill for over $5 per bottle. Seriously??? This costs like 50c in shop. This type of daylight robbery just leaves a bitter taste in the mouth regardless of anything else connected with the stay. March 25, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Dissatisfied We have stayed often over the years, it is a convenient location. We booked the stay and park. We were billed the regular amount for our room, not the stay and park special that I reserved. We were billed for one night of parking therefore when we left the parking facility we had to pay $158.00 for parking. The morning we left I purposefully went to confirm that our parking and was told everything was in order. I will be contacting the airport Sheraton in Toronto.i will never have my receipt emailed again for I only discovered the error upon our return to Canada a week later. I very dissatisfied with the inconvenience. January 27, 2013
