Rated 2 out of 5 by Sheraton Anaheim This property was a huge disappointment. The hotel is very run down and dated. The carpets in every hallway are worn and stained. The carpet in our room had stains and was very worn out. The faucet in the bathroom was chipped. The bathroom never felt spotless. The hallways and elevator smelled very musty and stale. While the price point for the hotel seemed a value, the experience was too disappointing to return. Surely there are other hotels in the area that feel cleaner, and fresher for a decent rate. In addition, the front desk staff during the day seemed like they were bothered to be asked questions about check out or shuttles. I will say the night front desk staff was much friendlier and helpful. April 30, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by The Worst Hotel @ Disneyland You would think a hotel with the Sheraton name would be an excellent place to stay with your family. Unfortunately, this one is not and I would not recommend anyone stay here ever. The air conditioner was not working for several days and our room temps reached over 80 degrees. Having to open the window in the room just to bear the heat and listening to cars drive by all night. As you can imagine we did not get much sleep and we were awoken at 0800 by the maids trying to get in our room even though we had a do not disturb tag on our door. The bathroom over flowed in our room as well as our friends room. Maintenance was at our rooms more than we were. But the topper was that staff miss handled our billing and over charged us. After several phone calls to their accounting manger he assured me it was handled. Well after 5 months and many more phone calls our issue is still not taken care. Do yourself a favor, even if this hotel is the only open in the area, don’t stay here. October 24, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by In-person experience was great the reservation experience was a disaster. My families stay was suppose to be for 3 days. the first reservationist gave us a price and told us to check the email confirm, when we did it was for one nite. after calling again, new reservationist said we had to make a new reservation for the other 2 days... well after two more screw-ups and 4 more people we where stuck with price increases and offset reservations. Then we got to the hotel ... it was a seamless and wonderful experience, the staff was great and room was very comfy. But most of it was due to the welcome and efforts of Kris the desk manager. He understood our confusions and straightened our reservation out with a great price. THIS EMPLOYEE IS A KEEPER!!! June 9, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Simply Amazing We decided to book this hotel based on it's location. It is so close to Disneyland that you could walk. However, thanks to their incredibly prompt shuttle you never have to. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very helpful staff that made us feel really welcome especially when we found out we had received a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful suite. The room was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. It was so well appointed that we ended up ordering room service both nights of our stay. Not only did dinner arrive hot and delicious it even arrived when promised. For after dinner entertainment we enjoyed the Disneyland Fireworks from the front entrance of the hotel. For our family this is the only hotel in Anaheim.juJ July 23, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Headed downhill My husband and I have been staying at the Sheraton Anaheim Hotel for years, and have been very disappointed lately in the quality of the hotel's condition as well as the service provided. At our most recent stay (10/6/12), the room was unclean. There were brown, liquid stains on the bathroom walls, long brown hairs stuck to the floor and walls, and the bathroom door itself did not close or lock properly - affording no privacy whatsoever. The air conditioning unit was broken, and - though an engineer checked it out - the unit was churning all night and the room never got cooler than 80 degrees. The window was dirty and knob broken off. In addition, it cost $17.00 to rent a movie in the room - very pricey in this economy. October 10, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not what I expected. I had booked a room with a special offer which was not met when I checked in. I ended up paying more than I should have. I received different info when I reserved my room from when I checked in. Desk clerk just said sorry. The room was way too hot, even after repair it never cooled down. We found 5 carpet staples which we all stepped on thankfully no one was cut. When checking out we took them to the front desk, again the desk clerk just said sorry. We did like the free shuttle to Disneyland but was surprised that we had to pay $14 per night to park at the hotel. July 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Value While this may not be considered one of SPG's "premiere" properties, it was absolutely a terrific hotel for the money. Rooms were spacious and clean. Shuttle to Disney was great. Staff was attentive, helpful and very friendly. Food was good - room service was very quick. No complaints at all - my family of 5 really enjoyed it. We'd go back. Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Stay I was impressed with this hotel. I love Starwood hotels and Sheraton happens to be one of my favorites. The hotel lobby is spacious, the business center is well kept, and the restaurant in the lobby is pretty good. I loved the package that I booked that provided free parking, internet, buffet for up to four and a shuttle to Disneyland. As for the room itself, it's extremely spacious, has a wonderful bed and the Starbucks complimentary coffee in the room is a bonus. Great staff, great amenities--I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next vacation. July 29, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Find a better deal When we arrived the front desk person told us that we were not Starwood members anymore because of inactivity on our account. Because I am a woman, I could not put points on our card because my husband wasn't traveling with me. She never offered for me to sign up and never smiled or tried to make it better. Then the bus to Disneyland didn't have windows that opened and the air conditioner was broken. It was about 100 degrees in the bus, really it was that hot. People were complaining and management didn't seem to care.They never returned my call. I've been going here for years and it is going downhill year after year. I will be finding another place to stay. I'm done with this facility. We had to pay for internet, parking, breakfast. July 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Loved this hotel My son and I came to stay for a weekend getaway for some mom and son time. When we pulled up to the hotel my son was in awe over the castle-like appearance! We were immediately greeted by Chris who checked us in. He upgraded us to a poolside suite that had a door that opened from our room directly to the pool. Anytime we needed anything Chris was our guy! He even called maintenance to bring a screwdriver and help my son insert batteries into his new RC car he made at Ridemakerz. Great staff, Great hotel! Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice place to stay for Disney trip We enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton Anaheim. Our room was large, comfortable, and clean and the fitness center was great. The staff was helpful and courteous. If you are going to the Disney parks the shuttle is a real bonus! One of the best parts of this hotel is the beautiful grounds. The property does need updating-new carpets, especially in the hallways, and better ventilation. The hallways smell musty and stuffy. It would be nice to have a better stocked hotel store since there aren't real close stores off-property. Overall it was very nice. June 22, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Needs improvement Suggestions for improvement: *Unhappy that we paid for parking...didn't used to be that way and we were surprised upon arrival! *Room internet access should be included. Especially with small children, too hard to have to go down to the lobby...between that and the parking it felt like we were being "nickel and dimed". *Mildew smell in hallway on 3rd floor above the "L" entrance...really bad. *Bathrooms extremely small ...I know there's not much you can do about that one!:) Things we like!: *Great shuttle service to Disneyland...thank you! Shuttle drivers were fun and very informative! *Beds were extremely comfortable. Loved all the pillows! *Appreciated the hotel "store" being open after we returned from Disneyland (after 10pm)...thank you. April 25, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Mickey's Halloween Party 2012 We stayed here because of the close proximity to Disneyland and the shuttle service. The room we had was a pretty far distance from the entrance and was hard to walk to with all of my additional baby items (pack n play, stroller, etc.). It was outdated, but unexpectedly large. I could not complain about the size of the room, it was nice. The shuttle to Disneyland worked out nicely, but the shuttle back was an unorganized mess. We ended up walking back to the hotel, which would be close, if you didn't have to walk all the way around Disneyland. October 16, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Management is rude I will start off by saying that this hotel was quite nice. The room I stayed in was great and the beds are extremely comfortable. The shuttle service was great and very timely. That's the only nice thing I have to say. My computer charger went missing from my room and management was a nightmare to deal with. Maureen, an assistant general manager, told me to stop talking while I was on the phone with her and the general manager was just as bad as she was. The only nice person I talked to was the housekeeping manager, Angela. If you plan on staying here make sure you have nothing to complain about because management will not help you. Rated 2 out of 5 by Only stay if thats all thats available We checked in late got to our room and the airconditioner would not come on, called the front desk and they sent someone he got the airconditioner to come on but after 6 hours and no sleep it was still 76 degrees in the room, the next night same problem after another night of no sleep I called the front desk at 4 am to get some help and was told to call back after 7am that day i called again and some one came to work on the air and that night the room reached 70 much more tolerable .... and the beds are very uincomfortable!! Rated 3 out of 5 by Rooms need improvement The Hotel itself was good and we liked the shuttle service to Disneyland. We really were not comfortable in the rooms. They were large but the beds were uncomfortable and short in length. You can hear everything going on in the halls and other rooms...walls are thin. The rooms have very little decor for being near Disneyland. The floors were dirty and there were no extra linens in the closet..blankets, pillows. Took two phone calls to get an extra blanket. Breakfast Buffet was great though. Definately needs remodeling! December 20, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by very comfortable rooms and friendly staff when I called to book 3 rooms for my family, I requested that no room overlook the freeway and that they be close together. We arrived around 8:30 p.m. and immediately ordered room service so that we could get the younger children to bed. After everyone left our room, I looked out the window to find a direct view of the freeway! My daughter's room also viewed the freeway but she changed rooms because of an uncomfortable mattress. Her second room was a great room on the first floor with the koi pond outside their room. My son's room was a very long walk from ours and not what we had in mind to help with the babysitting. but at 9:30 p.m. it was too late to request closer rooms with no freeway view (2 out of 3 originally viewed the freeway - ours was very noisy even with the windows closed). I would definitely try this hotel again but insist on a room with a view of anything but the freeway - too noisy for a light sleeper. And our stay would have been much easier if we were all closer together. March 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Room cleanliness ... The Sheraton Anaheim was very comfortable and am staff was wonderful. But soon as we got to room it did get unforgivable for me. The room wasn't very clean. There was Cobb weds in corners of room and closets. There was a layer if dirt/dust along top of couch and pillows. Spots and stains all over carpet! It is just disturbing trying to relax in a dirty room. Everything was wonderful but that. We might come back but you really need to take a monument and really clean the rooms on down time. Thank you. Rated 3 out of 5 by not the Sheraton I know. Outside gorgeous, but that is as far as I can say anything nice about this hotel. We were given our room all the way at the back and have to go in a very small elevator. Once we got to our room it was dirty all the way to the fact that there was black smudges all over the toilet and hair in the bathtub. I had already gone to the front desk 1 because they messed up our reservations. The front manager was rude and acted as if I was asking for a lot to have my room cleaned. The shuttle only runs every half hour to Disneyland and the driver smells like smoke. the next morning they tried charging me for parking when parking was free with my reservation. And the man at the buffet suggested we give him a tip. This is not the Sheraton I know and I would recommend going somewhere else down the street. December 19, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Outdated The room was ok, but slow behind the modern era when it comes to internet and TV. The TV on all channels and movie rented had audio that did not match the mouth. Internet is charged which is outdated and per device even worse. Please join the modern age and get with it. This hotel comes off as a rip off for old travelers and those deperate at disneyland. Rated 3 out of 5 by This hotel is convienently located Normaly this hotel is top notch, sadly on this visit it was a mess. Our room at check in looked as though a fight had occurred in the room. The bathroom door had been kicked in and no longer closed. The drapery had what appeared to be blood all over one panel. Can't believe that housekeeping signed off on this room to be rented in that state. Top it all off, the key reader on our door died. Fortunately, there was a nice guy from maintenence who fixed all of this stuff by the next day. May 14, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by fair first - when one stays at a hotel, one should not have to pay to park where one is already staying & paying for. when u go home, or the market, or any other business or store, to which u are already spending your money, do u have to pay to park? NOOOOOO !!!! this brings me to the shower, the worst shower ive ever had at any hotel. no water pressure what so ever !! could not even rinse off the soap, oh, & the 10 degree temp fluctuations in both directions !! Rated 2 out of 5 by Needs an update This property is old and run down and needs a major overhaul. Carpet is stained in numerous areas and the overall decor is tired. Convenient location; however, will not be staying again unless there is a renovation. The check in process was slow and not accomodating to Starwood status. Was told there was an upgrade available and later a work peer was given an upgrade. The dishonest answer regarding whether there was an upgrade available is not acceptable. February 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Large Rooms, Very Comfortable Stayed for the weekend while attending a convention at the Anaheim Convention Center. My room was very large with 2 Queen Size beds, and what appeared to be room for 2 or 3 more. Everything was very clean and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. There is a free shuttle to Disneyland/California Adventure and Downtown Disney. From there the walk to the Convention Center is about 10 mins. Check for AAA rates as I was able to save some money. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great hotel, Excellent location to Disneyland!! This is my wife and I's second stay at the hotel, and we love it. There is a dedicated shuttle to/from Disneyland that runs every 30 minutes, which is great for wanting to get back/to the park within 5 minutes of departure. The room is super spacious. Since we spend a great deal of time at Disneyland, we don't get to take advantage of the amenities. The price for comfort at the Sheraton is fantastic. Definitely recommend, and will return myself.
