the staff in the club room was great especially the lady who did breakfast.The food was always good there.The lady who did breakfast during the week was always friendly and helpful.Andrew at the front desk was also a great help to us.

We found your staff to be especially friendly and helpful. I became ill during our visit and every one went above and beyond their normal duty to be kind, concerned and helpful.
The food in the dinning room and bar was beautifully served and delicious.
We certainly will recommend your hotel to one and all.

I stayed here for a convention and found the hotel to meet my needs in nearly all regards. My only inconvenience were the electrical plugs. Only two accessible in the room and everything we plugged in one of them fell out. The bathroom had one but the plugs did not hold tightly anything we plugged in it either. Fortunately we found the one that fold up out of the desk/table in the room.
Had a issue at check in using a debit card when checking in....DO NOT EVERY DO THIS AT ANY HOTEL. They put a "hold" on the amount which as I was sharing the room and only paid half...took nearly all my money for our stay. The manager on duty was GREAT and fixed it up for me and I got the money back immediately after working with my bank. The check in person should have told me and I specifically asked him about this when I gave him the card. Beds VERY comfortable, everything clean, conveinient and comfy! Would stay there again but the hwys around Harrisburg are crazy! They make no sense. Not the hotels fault though and they are right by what I GUESS! is one of the major hwys. Thank goodness for GPS!

On this most recent stay, the staff went out of their way to interact. Its always been good, but this was even a little better. Breakfast at the rest was awesome. Felt like the staff went a little above and beyond what we have come to see as the norm here. Always like staying here. Will admit didnt like that the starpoints for a free stay were doubled within the last several months, but staff seemed a little more enthuastic, and we will continue to stay here everytime we are in the area.

Overall I was very disappointed with the room. Within minutes of us getting there a 2 inch, unidentifiable bug met us, the ceiling in the bathroom looked like it had black mold spots and when the people flushed the toilet upstairs it sounded like it was right next to the bed. However, the kids loved the indoor/outdoor pool and the hotel was in a great location to get to Hershey Park and there are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby.

Thanks very much to the patient reservationist and front desk manager who assisted us when we needed to get our college aged daughter a room for a night as her flight had been cancelled. they focused on our needs and went to work to find a way to help.

When we got to the room, there were fans drying the carpet and the room smelled wet, musty and of cigar smoke. We tracked down an employee who contacted the front desk which seem to argue w/the employee about the condition of the room; we got another room down the hallway, a repairman walked in the room to repair the wallpaper as we were waiting for new room keys. This guy was pleasant and recommend a nice place to eat. For the price of $209 per night, it had a very noisy air conditioner which did drown out the next door rooms of toilets flushing, showers running, hanging up clothes on the rod, doors slamming shut and kids running and screaming in the hallway when the air conditioner was running. When it wasn't running, don't expect to get any sleep especially if you have an early flight out of Harrisburg airport. Also for the price, the sheets shouldn't be hard and noisy. We did not use the amenities, although the pool looked nice from the hallway window.

It's not easy traveling with a 4 month old, but the staff went above and beyond to help make it an easy transition for me and my baby. The room was amazing and very clean. The staff at the front desk was polite and so helpful. When I got to my room they called up to make sure that I was satisfied. How nice was that?! I was also not expecting the hotel to be as nice as it was. I will absolutely be staying again!!!

Lovely hotel & friendly staff - but outside lighting in the parking lot is nearly non-existent. Unloading the car was difficult @ night upon my arrival, plus it was a bit creepy/unsafe as a solo biz woman.
My room was clean except for the bathroom which contained a used bar of soap in the tub area & a wet bath mat. Yuck.

Having worked in the Luxury hotel end of the business for years. The Sheraton Hershey surpasses some of the 5 star properties by a mile stone. Service with a smile seems to be embedded in each staff member I had a encounter with. The Dog and Pony Restaurant servers were the best very attentive and sincere about making the dinning experience with them memorable. this would be my third stay and I look forward to returning.

We stayed overnight for a wedding at the hotel. Everything from my viewpoint went off without a hitch. There was also a youth hockey tournament in the area that filled the hotel with participants but they never seemed to overtake the place. We had a very nice stay. A very nice room discount was given for being with the wedding.

I reserved a king room. I could easily have found a less expensive hotel but chose Sheraton because it is affiliated with SPG. I specifically requested a room away from the elevator. At check in the front desk person told me that I had been upgraded. When I went to the room it was directly adjacent to the elevator shaft. Every time the elevator moved the room filled with noise. I requested another room. I was then informed that there were no other king beds available although I had specifically reserved and paid for a king. I was placed in a room with two double beds. No adjustment t was made to my room rate. The room that I was given was poorly maintained. The bath tub drain was slow, the shower curtain was broken, and the room was just generally shoddy. This was a very poor experience. I will be avoiding Sheraton in the future and I am reevaluating my loyalty to SPG. For the record, I am a frequent traveler with lifetime gold status on SPG. I understand that issues can arise with rooms but I am very dissatisfied with this experience.

I stayed at this property for a nearby wedding. When I found out that the shuttle and check-in were both at 3:00, I called for an early check-in and the guy on the phone said it should be fine. However, when I arrived the room wasn't ready at 2:40. I understand that they can't always accommodate this, but 20 minutes? The man was also extremely rude and cocky. My friends and I ended up having to get ready for the wedding in the lobby restroom and when I went back to check with the front desk he said "oh yeah, I've had your room ready, I was just waiting for you to come back." A nice hotel and good front desk agent would've asked for my phone number to call me, or knowing I was around the corner, poked his head around to tell me. Not impressed.

The fan in bathroom made loud noise every time it was turned on. Also air conditioner was permanently set and we could not adjust, turn off, make warmer, etc.

If you are an SPG Platinum member, don't expect to be treated as one at this location. When I checked in the front desk associate informed me that I would not be eligible for any suite upgrade which I was okay with, but what surprised me most is that he also stated that the hotel does not accommodate platinum members with access to the club floor unless you book the room on the club level. The associate was rude and unprofessional. He told me that it does not matter what SPG level I was because the hotel has alot of platinum guest. He did not greet me as a platinum member nor did he offer me any check in amenity such as points or a drink voucher. I would not recommend staying here if you are a Gold or Platinum member.

This stay was crazy, but it was not the fault of the staff. In the end Pat in the club lounge made me grateful for the stay. On our second day there was a fire on our floor. When resolved they gave us a room 4 floors below. Only thing we had to go up 8 flights of stairs pack our room and move down 4 flights via the stairs. Maybe a new system for this, but understandable with all the confusion.
Next day eating Pat was so great knowing I had a long ride ahead, packed a small snack to go. That individual care is why I keep coming back to Starwoods.

The hotel is in desperate need of renovations. The washrooms are old and need a complete renovations. The tiles are falling off and the grout is very dirty. Let's just say I didn't let my children shower without flip flops on.
