Rated 5 out of 5 by Great place Stayed at this hotel after a long drive. Beautiful views of the marina. Spacious room. Club Lounge was great for breakfast as I got to sit out on the balcony overlooking the marina and ate. Will definitely come again. May 10, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Clean, Easy and Good in Petaluma/Sonoma Easy/plentiful free parking and welcoming check-in. Spacious room (with a safe). Decent fitness room. On premise dining with a coffee shop in the same building. Easy to drive to/from the area. October 13, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Multiple things went wrong Loved the glass of wine on arrival with friendly personnel to greet us. Coffee maker clogged with some white stuff in it but hotel quickly gave us another. TV did not work- had to replace it with another the next day False fire alarm went off in the morning while we were in the room Man next door was smoking constantly and we could smell it and was throughout the halls. Took several days before problem resolved. Found out he had to be evicted. It was horrible smelling stale smoke for so long. WiFi was off and on throughout stay. Eco option for $5 voucher was miss-leading- It was an all or nothing option. Either you didn't want maid service at all or you had everything done. We didn't feel we needed sheets and towels changed daily but when we hung the tag on the door, no one came in to make the beds, empty the trash or clean the bathroom. This is really to save the hotel labor costs not to help the environment. Our towels were changed even though we hung them up in the bathroom. We had no issues with the people working at the hotel. They were all friendly and accommodating. October 4, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice hotel near Sonoma The Sheraton Petaluma is a nice hotel that is near the Sonoma Wine Country. The staff is nice, the rooms are clean and comfortable. It has become our 'go to' hotel for overnights to the wine country. February 19, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by A nice view of the Marina The shower head is not usable if you are under 6 feet tall. My Wife is 5' 2" and would get drowned if she was to use the shower head. Some women do not wash their hair every night. September 27, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Not worth the money We were highly disappointed with the staff at the Sheraton. They didn't clean the tables around the pool, restock the towels or take away the dirty towels. Even overnight. We had a late lunch by the pool, and when I came back down around lunch the NEXT DAY, the plates were still there. The key cards for the rooms kept demagnetizing, no matter where they were kept (away from cell phones and credit cards). When I went to the front desk, they were rude because I didn't have my ID. It was locked in my room. So they radioed for a security to meet me at my room and check my ID. I was very annoyed, since I had to go down to the front desk because THEIR keycard didn't work, and then they treated me like a thief. And finally, the wait staff in the restaurant was terrible. We had to ask several times to receive things we'd ordered, and we weren't the only ones. The wait staff wasn't friendly, and were just a pain to deal with. We didn't ask for much, and for the outrageous prices, I expected service with a smile. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, and wish I could turn back time to stay somewhere else. June 21, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Relaxing weekend Overall the room and the hotel met my needs. The staff were very friendly. I would stay there again. It did seem odd that many or all of the staff that I spoke with or asked questions of seemed to be so new on the job that they could not answer some questions or be of help. They were still great though. I was not impressed with the restaurant Tolay's food, prices or overall service. Not horrible, but not great either. Sorry. The clock on the computer was 6 hours off. The clock in the workout room was an hour and a half off and the clock in my room was 1 hour off. There was a lightbulb out in a lamp in the room. When I parked my car in the parking lot it was hard to get out of the door because the bush was so overgrown. There were other smaller things like that I noticed. I don't point out the small details to complain, but more of what I noticed that could be improved upon. Again, the staff was very friendly. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were awesome. I loved having the newspapers available to read in the morning and the coffee in the room. The room was perfect for what I needed though and would stay there again. Thank you for allowing pets !
