Rated 3 out of 5 by Bad Experience We had booked this room to arrive at 3:00 PM so I could finish some work I had to do before going to the Ranger game. When we arrived, there was a long line of people waiting to check in. It took approx 30 min to get to the desk and then they told me at 3:30 that my room was not ready and they would call me! I asked to speak to the manager and explained the situation he gave me a room right away. We went to our room and opened the door only to find other people already in the room. We were both very startled. We had to go back down with our luggage and find the manager who then gave us another room. June 19, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Nice hotel for conventions, average service This hotel is nicely-appointed and is attached to a convention center, which makes it convenient when one is attending events. However, any requests for basic services such as early check-in, late check-out, etc. were essentially ignored. Any calls to request such services to customer service or guest services were promptly denied, however very politely. In addition, the hallways were extremely loud with several young people talking and partying outside of their rooms well into the wee hours of the morning. As I travel very frequently for business and am a rewards member of several major hotel chains, I had expected a higher level of customer service and quality from a Sheraton family hotel. I was surprised to be disappointed. March 31, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Airport shuttle is a joke Upon arrival to DFW at 10:30pm was informed by employee that there was no shuttle driver and was basically hung up on Had 8:30 am flight and phones downstairs as there was no info in room to get shuttle schedule and was told it had just left and next one was at 7:30 an hour away. Front desk offered to call cab. Cab to airport had meter turned off and charged $40 for the $30 ride I had to the hotel. When questioned the driver said he had a special arrangement with hotel. Obviously the employees are receiving money for using him I expect better and seriously doubt I would stay here again August 22, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by I love staying here I've stayed at this Sheraton on numerous occasions. I love it. It's now attached to the Arlington Convention Center. Six Flags is within walking distance. The Texas Rangers' stadium is within walking distance. There are many restaurants with a variety of choices nearby. The rates have always been reasonable. The accommodations are nice and comfortable. I always look forward to staying here, and I will return soon! May 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is a great hotel in a perfect location Loved this hotel. Only qualm I have is that it's probably in need of an update. It was a clean room but the stains on the carpet give the appearance that it's not. But I assume that an update is probably around the corner because it really is a wonderful place to stay. The Sunday breakfast was awesome. I'll definitely return! July 1, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by poor condition and service lacks TLC Overall the hotel is in need of some general upkeep. At my conference this was voiced by several. Front desk staff were helpful, service staff need some training. Toilet was stopped up twice, second time we observed the maint person splashing toilet water on the floor and dripping on the carpet. No effort to clean up. SPG-I did not feel recongnized as a lifetime gold member nor did I receive typical benefits/upgrade, or an appology they were not available. I do believe the person may have been new. He wrote a note to the manager while checking me in and I heard a loud stern "NO". August 18, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice surprise really nice room upgrades and comfy beds Came for the game, as I expect many do - wanted something "grander" for the Xmas holiday, but quite nice and crazy-good close to the stadium. Service in club room quite nice too - isn't on scale of Asia hotels, but nice and friendly & helpful staff. Definitely would return. December 28, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel has incredible customer service Upon arriving to checking out, the staff at Sheraton Arlington, which included Sklyer, Elizabeth, Carla, and Mandy went above and beyond making my stay so nice and enjoyable. Right down to running downstairs (I was in the club lounge), to get some peanut butter for my morning bagel. June 11, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not up to snuff Room description stated it was for 5 people, but truly only slept 4. My son had to sleep in a chair for two nights. Hotel staff was not sympathetic and did not fix this problem or seem to care since we had already paid in full. Came back to room after first day and tub was clogged and filthy. Tub was unclogged quickly but not cleaned. Kids swam in pool, however came out with scrapes. Pool is very rough on feet, hands and knees, when kids complain and come out bleeding, you know it's bad. Upon check out, staff did not care how our stay was...did not even ask. Handed them our comment card upon checkout and they took it without a word and without eye contact. Very Poor customer service. Will not be back for sure. May 29, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Ragged Out! This hotel is far below the level it should be. They tried to charge me about $180 night for this rat trap. Carpets, walls, furniture, bedding is dingy and stained. Bathrooms are outdated. Matress was noisy and uncomfortable. 1st room they put me in had leaking toilet and shower. Food on the furniture and bedspread. The rooms smell too. When I insisted on being moved the staff have me attitude and was unfriendly. Oh, and I got to move myself because they never got around to it. 2nd room still smelled, everything stained & A/C was really Loud. I gave up. Got way over charged. Not a good place to stay. Only thing good I can say is that this hotel has a good location. Right next to six flags, hurricane Harbor, etc August 2, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not prepared for conference Had a Sun-Tues conference at this hotel. Arrived Sunday evening at 4:00 pm and waited it lobby for over 4 hours, along with many others, to get assigned a room. They were waiting for rooms to get cleaned. Store ran out of Starbucks supplies and other items were gone immediately due to all the people. There were issues with serving lunch in the restaurant on Monday. It was clear they were not staffed appropriately to meet the needs of the participants at this conference. Very nice, clean rooms. Would recommend this hotel unless it was for a conference event. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great hotel if going to a Rangers game. Nice hotel, especially if going to a Rangers game. It is within easy walking distance. Cowboy Stadium is close but I did not walk there so cannot comment. The only thing keeping this from an overall 5 star is the lounge area. I stayed here a few years ago and the lounge was a large area. The last time I stayed the lounge was closed for renovations. I thought that was good as it was a little dated. But the new lounge is too small for a hotel that caters to sports fans and did not seem at all inviting. This is not a comment on staff as I did not purchase anything. The only other negative was digital channels were pixelated. This happened a different Dallas area hotel also, so it may have been the satellite service. May 6, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by High dollar rooms for Loud Noises Stayed here for Bead Fest. On March 28 there was a loud party down the hall until 4:30 am. Management did nothing. Also, was a band playing on the 2nd floor until midnight also loud! The rooms are not quiet when someone talks while walking down the hallway. People coming back from the dinner for whatever convention were also loud at midnight. For a room costing $155 a night ($15 a night for fridge) it has nothing compared to other hotels for the same price. Very disappointed. I won't be back. April 7, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by Why I was not satisfied with my stay at this hotel. Upon arrival, my expectations were met. The hotel was convient to the conferance I was attending, the room was satisfactory and the staff was outstanding. As my stay continued a series of events occured that clouded my stay. Dinner at the restaurant one evening resulted in bread ties in my soup. Needless to say, I was no longer hungry. Upon returning to the room, it was not cleaned, after a further delay the room was cleaned and when I returned the tub was not clean, Apparently when cleaned by housekeeping the tub had backed up and was not properly rinsed. In addition, bugs were found in my bed on two ocassions and charges were made to my bill from the bar, I had not gone to the bar. All in all not a happy experience. June 28, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by 2 night stay for family business The hotel was very nice and conveniently located for our purposes. It was very nice to be able to get out and walk around the stadium and park/pond. We stayed on the Club level. The snacks were good, they charged for beer and wine, saved a little on beer but much better selection of wine in bar downstairs. Breakfast was pretty good, a breakfast "eggroll" , then some other cold items, fruit, cereal , muffins,etc. Loved having Starbucks coffee both in the room and in the Club level lounge. Overall a good stay, would stay there again. Oh, and the pool was very nice! June 6, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good stay but Club level not worth it Great overall stay with nice amenities. Loved the downstairs bar area and restaraunt. I stayed in the club level because the hotel operator told me that there was a private bar or lounge upstairs that would provide complimentary alchoholic beverages as well as snacks, drinks, bottled water, breakfast and privacy all within my hotel rate. When I got there this wasnt true at all. The bar tender told me that they now charge for all drinks and the breakfast was simply basic pastrys. I was very disappointed as I would have never paid the additional rate ... They tried to charge me $20 more for my rate apon checkout but the staff corrected it at my request. Very friendly staff and it was a good stay just not worth the club level. February 27, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Parking Issue I have stayed at this Sheraton many times and was very disappointed at the parking issue for hotel guests. There was a Texas Ranger game on Wed night and we had gone out to eat for dinner, we returned around 7:15 pm from dinner and the hotel was selling parking spaces to Ranger fans...not a problem except they did not save any spaces for PAYING hotel guests. They told us to valet and they would comp the valet fee...the $12.00 valet fee showed up on our bill at checkout. They hotel did take the fee off when he inquired, but it's a very deceptive practice. This should be fixed...not good business. Other than this the room was good and the hotel was clean and I would recommend to others...just check your bill before you leave! June 4, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Smelly Linen and Room. Hotel has been the preferred venue for my trade association for quite a few years now. The linens and by extension the room smelled as if the sheets were washed WITHOUT laundry detrgent. Sweaty, musty, stuffy smell. Toilet was on the verge of overunnig, addressed by maintenance. Very uncharacteristic of this particular hotel. Suprised me. Have stayed there for at least 8-10 years during our annual convention and did not expect that. Hotel's coffee shop staff were overwhelmed and that during mid morning. 6-8 tables did it. Front desk and Bell stuff were fantastic. You got to do something with the hotel. Nothing has changed there in 10 years, add a bad smell and you are done. I will not stay there next year during our convention in late February. February 26, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Needs updating, room319 directly over party room! Room 319 was directly over a banquet/ party room. We didn't just hear bass until 11:30 (tried to go to bed at 10, due to early wake up next day) we heard every word of music and the laughing and talking of guest. This room (and probably two or three others located above these facilities) should not be used when a function/ event with loud music is being held in banquet room. I was by far not the last one to check in that day. I wasn't given the option to cancel and go to another hotel. With three calls to management starting at 10 and giving up at 11, I was told "that hotel was full, we couldn't be moved, and someone had to be in that room". NO, I could have been given option at check-in to at the very least cancel reservation and go to another hotel. This hotel is definitely showing wear and tear and the rooms and hallways are in need of updates. April 15, 2014

At times, we can get a great rate such as the Payage, but the regular room rates are too high. The quality of the beds is great and we love them, but the rates should be more compatible with other hotels in the area. May 3, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great hotel with a great View and even better staff I have been to Washington dozen of times and stayed both in the city and on the outskirts. This was my first time at this hotel and I was wooried about the shuttle. The hotel has 3 shuttles and they are the most reliable ones I ever have taken. This is a very nice hotel that makes up on its few minor shortcomings with great staff and customer service. From checking in with Lemar at the front desk, he knows the true meaning of customer service and he was very nice. One of the best front desk staff I have ever met. He knew my wife and I just arrived tired after a 4 hour drive and went out of his way to make us feel welcome and get us to our room ASAP. The hotel garage is very convenient and the Concierge Lounge for starwwod members is one of the best. We visited it in the evening and in the morning and the offerings are great. It has to have the best view of Washington DC I have ever seen. The lady in the lounge went out of her way in the evening to show us all of the locations and we had a nice conversation with her. this staff is one of the most attentive I have ever seen and I have over 50 stays at Starwood properties this year. This hotel is a must stay and I definately will return. June 23, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Make sure you specify to not be put by elevators When I checked in, the employee assisting me did get me checked in quickly, however he didn't offer any information on where to go for the breakfast that was included in my room rate. I have never been to a hotel where the employee checking me in didn't make an effort to let me know when and where breakfast was. Also, they put me in a room located directy behind the elevators. Needless to say, I got no sleep due to listening to the elevators go up and down all night long. Make sure you request not to be booked into one of these rooms if you stay here. November 15, 2013
