Rated 2 out of 5 by dirty room staff loud and busy Upon entering the hotel it was fairly slow and almost no guest were checking in. However, staff was too busy to help unload or even find a cart. So I waited for a cart and proceeded past staff just standing there talking with my cart. Got to my room, which was 540 unloaded my cart and turned air on. Turn the air as low as it goes, 60, and it stays hot. Sweat all night because the air will not cool the room. Room very dusty draw pics in dust. November 6, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Reasonable hotel for a good price. The hotel was nice and the room was comfortable. The front desk staff was short staffed during check-out in the morning and no SPG priority service was provided during check-in or check-out. I did not use the lounge in this hotel, but I have heard that lounge here is small and not well stocked. Several hotels in ATL offer Happy Hours in their lounges with free beer & wine. This hotel does not and that is not very competitive in this market. March 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel is GREAT This hotel is great !! except if you are in need of tons of electric outlets then bring an extension cord. Rooms lack outlets for today's electronics. Most of the outlets are behind the furniture or you have to unplug lamps to make room for your device. Other than that if your looking for a nice clean room with a staff that addresses you by name even when dial zero then this is the place for you.. I always enjoy staying at Starwood Hotels. Rated 1 out of 5 by Good Luck Trying to Get a Nights Sleep Recently stayed at this hotel after being delayed at Atlanta Airport. Got to our room after 1am in the morning trying to catch a little sleep before having to get up at 530am to make our flight. As soon as we got settled large groups of college aged people were roaming the halls, slamming doors, knocking on doors, shouting, getting sick in the hallway and arguing. Had to call security 3 times and wait until 4am to get things calmed down. August 1, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ths hotel and staff are wonderful The Front Desk Agents Lasonja and Angela were the most friendliness and helpful staff I ever met. I travel alot because I love to visit different cities. The elegance and structure of the building is awesome. And oh yes the rooms were so clean as well as the beds being comfortable. As soon as my head hit the pillow I was out...LOL. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back. Finally a five star hotel with a three star price! January 26, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Front Desk Agents I would like to express that your Front Desk Agent Sylvia (I believe that was her name) was WONDERFUL!! She exceeded my expectations!! Your bellman that was working Saturday Evening was EXCELLENT as well!! The only problem I encounter was the toilet in my room was very slow. The Engineer came to fix it but it still ran slow. I informed your Front Desk Agent when I checked out. Overall, wonderful Hotel!! May 23, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Delta Business Stay The Sheraton ATL Airport is a wonderful location to stay and staying here is effortless. I have always loved the Starwood Hotels and the Sheraton is generally my choice world wide when I stay. This location is very efficient and very comfortable to say the least, but what I like most about Sheraton ATL Airport is the warm Southern smiles and willingness to help, Will stay here again and again when my travel plans permit while in ATL. Rated 3 out of 5 by Not up to standards expected My recent stay at the Sheraton Gateway in Atlanta was not up to SPG's usual standards and not what I have come to expect. I have stayed at this hotel several times, but this will likely be my last time. As usual, the check-in desk was understaffed with only one person available. Nobody available to check-in SPG preferred guests or provide SPG preferred recognition. I had two phones in my room, neither of which worked correctly. The sink in the bathroom was situated such that you could not put your hands under the running water from the spigot. The shower started hot, but then turned suddenly ice cold -- perhaps when someone in the neighboring room flushed. I received a wake-up call at 04:55AM. I did not request this call. Did I mention that it was at 04:55AM? The hotel lobby is nice, but the rooms are looking dated. I think there is room for improvement. January 25, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great location and staff This was the second time that I stayed. It is very continent from airport. I got a room on 12th floor,which was really nice. I had a little time in the morning, but I was able to enjoy breakfast. On the other hnd, my husband woke up little later and there were not breakfast left, which was disappointing for him. Due to labor day weekend, there were more guests, I believe. Overall, I really like the atmosphere and had relaxing time. September 4, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Ckean and okay The hotel was clean and very nice. The desk agent try to help me however, there was one that was very disrespectful and laugh in my face when I asked a question. I stay in March 12. The guy I was rude when he laugh in my face. I felted that he expected me to know. First of all, I never being to Atlanta and the Sheraton Getaway. The situation happened in the afternoon of that day. The rest of the employees were very friendly. March 14, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Hotel has some flaws Should not have to pay for parking when you are a guest. Parking on arrival night was a rediculus mess. Main lot was closed and parking ramp was full ( although half of it was blocked off). Food service, especially room service,was under staffed. At one point I had to call desk twice to even place a room service order because they did not answer the phone. Food service staff for banquets was incredably rude, making comments and addressing guests like they were anything but guests. The staff for the cash bar was great and addressed several special requests. On another positive note the front desk staff was great and very helpful as was the rest of the staff. I did report a problem with a light the first day and it was never fixed by engineering. The facility was very dog friendly and if traveling with my dogs I would stay again in spite of all the issues. November 5, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by poor customer service In the middle of the night another guest attempted to enter my room while I was sleeping because of some sort of mix up at the front desk that indicated I checked out when in fact I had only just checked in a few hours before. I was accused by the front desk staff via phone of overstaying my reservation. When I checked out in the morning, I explained how displeased I was. The front desk staff offered a less than sincere apology. August 6, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice hotel, needs more attention to details This is a beautiful hotel! There were minor issues with our room that were inconvenient. We had no ironing board and our TV reception was very bad. We called for repairs but TV could not be fixed. They did offer to move us to a new room, but never found one until late in the evening, too late to move when your checking out the next morning. Not having a ironing board is extremely inconvenient and there was no help with issue!!!! November 21, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Need to address the litle things Staff was professional, courteous, and helpful. Hotel was attractive and clean. Rooms left something to be desired. Air vent hadn't been dusted in weeks, spider web with spider over bathroom sink, TV remote was outdated and cumbersome, had to scroll through several promts every time television was turned on, desk chair vinyl was badly torn, AC fan had annoying whine at low speed. Beds were nice, plenty of pillows, linens clean. August 19, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Location Location LOCATION Great views from up high, room was well furnished and ample amenities and toiletries. The fridge was dirty I cleaned the best I could. We are Platinm Plus members and were accommodated to stay on the 12th floor and utilize the Club Lounge. We have stayed many times here, and have noticed a decline in service and fare in this facility. We had breakfast and French toast sticks were dry and tasteless only melon in fruit bowl, no strawberries blueberries etc, Raisen, nuts or oatmeal.. Only one choice of bread & bagel (not fresh was packaged) no one staffing the lounge or cappuccino machine! Evening 'horduerves' was unsatisying a well, no cheese raw veggies fruit plate (that mornings melon?) and hot item was dry and more fried dough than tasty food. We went to downstairs restaurant and offerings were room service menu should be more extensive with healthy options March 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Hotel Experience From the front of the house to the back, the Sheraton Gateway Atlanta is simply wonderful. My hotel experience was a joy. The overall service was superb! The food and service in the 1900 Grill was just fantastic! Our conference was made especially great because of Ms. Maria and her great serving abilities! Ms. Maria deserves a raise! Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful Hotel, but the restaurant staff are terrible. The room was great, but the hotel was booked by my employer and I was not aware of all the features available to me until the 2nd day. My wife went to the restaurant for breakfast and was left waiting for 4-5 minutes in full view of the server while he was behind the desk with the register. She thought it was a fluke and went for lunch the next day. She was seated right away by a manager and then she waited for the server. Was left there waiting for 10 minutes before the same manager noticed her and took her order. The server strolled around the restaurant slowly doing nothing while the manager was busily trying to take care of customers. My wife then had to flag him down to pay the check. He responded "I guess" and slowly meandered to the register where he was not friendly at all. Great room. Great custodial staff. Disappointing experience with all other staff. April 23, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Gold Recognition My wife and I were there only one night, this time. I chose the beverage as my gift. The meeting went longer and I came in late that night I was unable to use it. When I went to the desk and said "I can't use it , it's too late" I was asked by the staff if they could!!!! I did not expect to change it for the 250 points but did not think that would be the staff response. Used The Gateway in the past and will in the future. February 4, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by the front desk staff was excellent We were traveling through Atlanta and picked this hotel because of the price. We had been driving for 7 hrs so when we arrived, we were very tired. The front desk staff (Bryant) was excellent. He was very friendly & was very attentive. The room was a little outdated, but overall very good. We ate dinner in the hotel & it was the worst turkey club ever. The toast was dry, Miracle Whip was used and the turkey was very wet. Rated 3 out of 5 by Not up to par Upon arrival, was double-booked with someone else. Through our corporate account, we get Club level rooms and access. I was placed in a room that was already occupied by someone. opened the door and there was all his stuff. Went back to front desk and informed them of the mistake. Was then told there are no club level rooms left and placed on a lower level. The room was not near the comfort of the club level. No fridge in the room, the A/C would not go below 74* and the tv was tiny. Tried multiple times to connect to the internet(which is also included on corporate account), but could not get connected in the room. All said and done, checked out of the hotel and received my receipt. Instead of being charged for the lower-class room, they still charged me for club level and all I had was access to the lounge. So at a rate of $40/night higher than it should have been, the stay was a little less than expected. May 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hotel had nice facilities We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable, and we received a rollaway for our son. We enjoyed the heated pool, and the airport transfers. We were about 15 min from major downtown attractions, but there is a restaurant in the hotel that was good, and one right across the street that you can walk to if needed. The coffee bar was nice in the lobby. March 25, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Highly disappointed in this Sheraton Airport shuttle to the hotel was prompt and courteous. Check in was extremely long because hotel was not prepared for two conferences and a family reunion. Shared public restrooms were not attended to, even after request. The hotel neighborhood shuttle refused to do drop-offs designated in the information packet. They actually left us stranded at a location they transported us to. Management was flippant and rude. Rated 2 out of 5 by BIG Disappointment We stay at this hotel pretty frequently. Our past esperience has been very good. On our recent stay we had trouble with the parking - specifically exiting. Your front desk supervisor Ca**en was one of the least friendly staff I have ever met - I've been Platinum for 8 years. Long story short I was double-billed for parking as the key she made didn't work and it was pouring out. So I paid by credit card to exit. December 28, 2012

Speakers and participants could easily fly in and out with minimal driving. The meeting rooms are spacious and food is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. July 11, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good service I had lost an important item. Staff member Ernest was very helpful in trying to help me find it. As it turned out, I'd lost it at the airport, but the front desk was alerted, so when a call came in from a person who'd found my item, the young woman who took the call used excellent judgment in forwarding the call to my room, and I was reunited with my item. I am very grateful to your staff for its assistance. June 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Choice We stayed one night before catching a flight to Cancun. Hotel was easy to locate and comfortable. Food in the hotel was enjoyable. We slept well although the adjoining door to the next room was very thin and we were able to hear the people next door talking. We left our car In the lot and caught the shuttle to and back--very convenient. The staff members were all courteous. May 15, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by My Stay at Sheraton on 5/16/13-5/19/13 I was very dissatisfied with my stay at the Sheraton in Atlanta, GA. The room had not been properly cleaned prior to my arrival. Hair from the previous guest had not been removed from the bathroom. It was disgusting to remove someone else's hair. I stayed there nights and once was the room vacuumed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I honestly wish I would have spent my $341.00 at another hotel. May 20, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by no club access Since this property no longer allows SPG Gold level members access to the club lounge, I specifically purchased a room with king size bed and club level access. When I got up in the morning and tried to access the club my key did not work. There was not enough time time to go downstairs and reprogram the and go back upstairs to get breakfast in the club without missing the van and waiting another 20 mins. August 25, 2012
