If you go "green" you must still have coffee & toilet paper, tissue supplied! You are sold-out and you ONLY have 1 shuttle available? unacceptable! Request transport to airport at 5:40 am & at 5:27 am you send security with loud knock at your door to tell you they are waiting for you, really? Get email from YOU upgrade for $30.00/night, I said yes....NOT.. got stuck on 1st floor. Phones in room not working either.

Rated 2 out of 5 by patience86 Large hotel with poor service.
Front desk insufficiently staffed for volume of rooms / visitors. The large TV in the lobby area was broken, did not work. There was no TV channel guide in the room. No coffee is available other than sit-down in the restaurant. No newspapers were available in the hotel, complimentary or otherwise. When I checked out they charged me $745 for 2 nights, my confirmed rate was $526 total. They corrected it, but only after I complained.

Rated 1 out of 5 by dog45 overpriced/fake, pretentious 'high' quality
The bed was too soft, so were the pillows. The bathtub had no drain plug. The room was a 'standard' commercial hotel room, nothing special for nearly $200 per night. It was not worth more than $120. Charge for Internet was outrageous considering the rest of the world (not the US) provides free Internet.
There are better alternatives nearby.
Being so close to Quebec you should accept French reviews.

While this property appears nice on the surface, we were assigned a room in the oldest wing of the facility, currently undergoing renovations. The quality of the room was one-star motel. Smelly, damp, cramped accommodations. Beware if booking that you get a better room, especially if you don't have much status.
We won't be back. Well maybe to the bar, which was excellent with 7 local VT brews on tap, and great service!

For 35 years, we've been to the Sheraton for Conferences & overnight stays. We were looking forward to this stay. We even were told we got an "upgrade." (Room 206). The door looked like it had been repaired from a break in, there were cobwebs behind the bathroom door, the heater went on and off all night and kept us up, the creamers for the coffee machine were about 1 tsp. each and coffee in the hall was only for elite guests.

Rated 2 out of 5 by HubertHumphrey Poor Quality for a Sheraton Property
I am a loyal Starwood customer and have stayed at several Sheraton hotels. I was very disappointed at the quality of the Sheraton Burlington hotel and the quality of service I received while I was a guest there. There was no recognition that I was a Starwood Preferred member at all, as there usually is at Starwood hotels. The first room I was assigned was so awful I requested another room. It was at ground level and the window was right on a walking path, so anyone could easily see into our room as they passed. The wallpaper was peeling, the room was dark, and there was mold on the bathroom ceiling. We were moved to a room that was in better condition, but still not up the the quality of most Sheratons. The hallways in the hotel had black marks and holes in the walls, along with stained carpet. Worse, the whole hotel had an off-putting odor. Had we not pre-paid, we would have left for another hotel in the area. I have stayed in hotels that cost half as much and had much better-looking facilites. I will definitely read reviews carefully in the future before booking another Sharaton, rather than trusting the brand quality extends to all of their properties.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Arlene81191 Beautiful & Comfortable
I enjoyed my weekend away from home.
About 100 people had a conference in this Sheraton Burlington and I arrived on Friday at about 5 pm. I stayed until Sunday about noon.
Sometimes servicing a large group can be daunting but I believe we had all that we needed & we are grateful.
Everyone on hotel's staff was helpful & hospitable. The facility was clean & comfortable. I have no complaints & I will return to stay here again.

We have been loyal Sheraton customers for years. I also help schedule annual conferences for a national trade organization and have regularly used this hotel for our Fall conference. Our room was musty and damp. After 24 hours my clothes felt damp to the touch and smelled. You can't be unaware of this problem and as a SPG member for many years was very disappointed I was assigned this room.

Rated 3 out of 5 by mhv3 Hotel in midst of upgrade
Half of this hotel has been upgraded, so it's a crapshoot as to whether you'll have a good room or an only ok room.
On our first night at the hotel, we were in the old wing, where the ceiling was visibly stained with water damage, and we had a leak in the middle of the night (later explained as the person next door falling asleep while their shower was running). Nothing was done at 3am but a pile of towels was placed on our floor, dampening the drip noise.
Additionally, the shower never got warm and had bad water pressure.
The hotel staff moved us the next day when we called and said we were ready (although we had to transport our own bags down to the front desk and then to the other wing, which I found to be in bad form given our experience the previous night). Our room in the new wing was significantly nicer, with good water pressure, hot water, and nicer fixtures.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dan87 Great to be back.
This was my second time in two months.
It was a great experience again.. They changed few things in the club lounge. There were less choices at night for hors d'oeuvres....and no sparkling water anymore...?? I hope you will do something about it...it was really appreciated.
Overall my stay was great and staff always nice to us. I'll recommend this hotel...The fitness center is all new..but the hot tub is no longer there.

Reception gave us the wrong time for the shuttle that was hired (by bride & groom) to take us to wedding. After waiting in lobby for a shuttle we did not know we missed, reception finally realized they gave wrong time. They then refused to take us in the Sheraton shuttle and only offered to call a cab. We almost missed the ceremony and had to spend $30 for the cab out of pocket. They did not even seem to feel badly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LovetTravel2013 Lovely stay
We were very impressed with the look of the hotel, lobby restaurant and pool area. I believe they in the middle of renovations as the rooms could use a little updating, but were perfectly comforatble. They only thing was when we came to see if we could check in for the night (on a Tuesday afternoon) the staff told us there was absolutely no rooms with a king size bed available, but he could offer us a room with two double beds and directed us to another hotel down the road that may have a king size bed available. My husband and I walked around the inside of the Sheraton and thought it was lovely and then we used our phones to go online and check availability and we were able to get a king size bed at a lower rate than what the front desk gave us for a room with double beds!! ANd it was available immediately! We thought this to be a bit strange. So if you are a walk in I would recommend checking on line if the staff tells you there is nothing available. Not sure how this is good business sense for them but it worked for us.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Terry123 confusing layout
After checking in, I went directly to closest elevator, having not been told otherwise. This took me on a long, round-about journey to my room, and it was only later that I discovered going in a different direction was more appropriate. Maps to guests on check-in would be helpful.
Food selections were very limited in the restaurant, with only 1 or 2 real entrees on dinner, with remainder sandwiches and burgers.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Jane56 Frustrated
This is the 3rd time staying here. All visits were for University of Vermont. Hotel is conveniently located with excellent UVM rate. Unfortunately 2 out of the 3 visits we were put in a "basement" level room which smelled damp & musty. On the 3 rd visit we complained to management and they moved us to Starwoods Guest floor. As a Preferred Starwoods member we questioned why we were not put there at the start.

Rated 5 out of 5 Nice and quiet hotel
Hotel service was very good especially for SPg members. Room was clean and quiet. We found the Cost of a room was a little high given that the room was basic and the hotel is is next to the highway.New windows needed. But otherwise we found this to be a good hotel and did not have one negative experience. The breakfast room for SPg members is a great idea. Very comfortable room and good selection of food items.

We stay at this hotel a few times a year and my family and I like it very much and will continue to stay there. However as a Platinum member and regular at the hotel I was disappointed when I asked for a 1.00 pm checkout was refused and then asked if I could have a 12.30pm checkout was also refused. I understand that the hotel is busy but you cannot tell me that if I vacate a room by 12.00 pm it is going to be

I am questioning of I should come back. My step daughter is graduatng and since I am a Starwood Platinum Member , we booked this hotel. The club lounge was OK, both times I stayed they did not acknowledge my Platinum status. As a matter of fact, the front desk help was rude.
I have stayed at many Sheratons and you all need to try a harder or call yourselff a Four Points or Super 8 motel.
Location not great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SB23 Great place, needs some TLC
I have stayed many times at this hotel over the past 20 years - my preferred lodging. I noticed this time that the faciltiy really needs some painting, floor replacement, and general maintenance. Looking a little shabby for the high class that is should be. Also - come on guys, even hot dog carts provide free wifi, get with the times please to remain a competitor in the area.

Rated 2 out of 5 by greenlimes Not worth it
The staff was friendly but this hotel needs a refurb. The halls look and smell dank. The rooms need an upgrade. We had to switch the first room we got because there was hair in the tub and the bed looked slept in. The beds are not the same comfy Starwood beds that you usually find in a Sheraton. Breakfast was included with our room and the potates tasted freezer burnt. Overall this hotel gets a thumbs down.

Rated 2 out of 5 by David35 Constant Water Pipe noises at night ??
I was with a party of 6 in different wings and floors of this hotel. We all heard water gurgling through pipes at night. Even those that were in a different wing than the pool. It was intrusive. With so many other hotels in the area, why bother with this one.

This hotel needs a complete over hall. My room on the concierge floor was not clean. It was down at the heals. Upholstery was worn and dirty looking. Carpet worn and not vacuum. Furniture was dusty . Rather then rent thee rooms they should be closed. The lounge food was not great, was never offered any wine or drinks by hostess. Frankly I would like my money back.

I booked a room for 2 nights, the first night the beds were so uncomfortable. I went down to lobby to asked to be switched to a different room, the man at the desk was rude. Then went back at shift change at 7am and spoke to another man he stated that he would switch our rooms. It was now noon and still no room I stated that I was going to cancel my reservation and go somewhere else and he stated he would still charge me, I asked to speak to a manager and he stated he would waive the fee and he would be able to get me a room til 5pm. I stated I was going to pack and leave and all of sudden they had a room available. Plus they added a charge on each night that was never mentioned when I booked the room and because I used a debit/credit card the refund could take up to a week to be put on my card. This should be stated when booking the reservation!!!! Very unhappy with my stay!!!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by JoAnn1120 Could use improvement
I had 2 consecutive reservations for a 3 night stay. Very convenient location to UVM & the free shuttle is a plus. Lobby staff & shuttle drivers very efficient, helpful & friendly. However, I checked in on Thurs. morning & did not get housecleaning services until Saturday. The rooms definitely could use some updating - and maybe a little bit of color, for instance colorful bedding instead of plain white.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Hiker Close call
More than 24 hours in advance booked a shuttle. Shuttle was more than 20 minutes late - had I not allowed more time I might have missed my flight. Also noted while checking room upon departure that there was food reminants under the bed and between the bed and nightstand! Finally, the bathroom linens were heavily frayed and a pillow case was ripped - not what I would expect at a facility of this caliber!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Doug20 Unresponsive staff
We called the hotel front desk 3 times to get a crib. It never came. We called the front desk twice to get towels. No towels arrived. Fortunately the cleaning person was very responsive and helpful when we saw her in the hall, and she did a great job with the room.
Also, the common areas, notably the stair and elevator area going to the 3rd floor SPG guest floor, have a peculiar, unpleasant aroma.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Penguin33 overall thoughts of stay:
1. When I looked at your original website - it was deceiving, looking as if hotel was on the water. Convenient tho as right off the highway.
2. We were booked for a wedding, far in advance and all guests of the wedding were all over the hotel - should have had us closer together.
3. Rushed when we were eating breakfast, server in a hurry - perhaps a small complimentary coffee - and would have been nice.

As a business traveler I have been staying at the Burlington Sheraton for 15+ yrs. While clean, the common areas (hallways, carpeting, elevators) have not been updated since I have been staying there and its starting to look tired. Also, TV's in the fitness room and teadmills that face out rather than having a person staring at the wall in front of them is recommended

I have been to conferences here, & they were nice. The restaurant, bar, pool & core elements were attractive, but the room I slept in was motel-like, not what I expect from the Sheraton. My original room was not ready when I arrived, so they gave me another & $50 in food vouchers I could not use because the conference provided food. The room door looked like the lock had been kicked in by the police.
